Party city never seems to fail to have what I am looking for and a lot of times all the things I didn't know I needed. LOL I have been using them for personal and for work related events and had success every time. The staff at our Local Bloomington Location is always helpful and I have never had a bad experience.I would like to make one small suggestion, if balloon strings could maybe get spooled to take up excess slack. This isn't directive to our location but to the company to help them help us. We had a bit of a time each time with the strings and getting tangled. They have clips but it only does so much, and on my last pick up for a work event I was stuck for an hour trying to get it all untangled. That happens, and I don't know what would be a better answer just making a suggestion. Everything in general from the Bloomington Location has always been great, and I love seeing it all come together and looking amazing!

This place has everything you could ever need for a party! Costumes and all. I went here for getting christmas and new year parties. The stuffs were organized well so I could find items easily. I am a repeat customer and will be going there again in the near future.

The staff at this party city were really friendly, so no complaints there, but the selection is not great. There are a lot of empty shelves. (Keep in mind, I visited in the summer, so I cant vouch for whats available during Halloween.) Nonetheless, I didnt find what i needed, which were costume supplies for a creative project, so ill be ordering online.

This store no longer sells fake blood and has not updated it on their website. I wasted my time and cab money by going there. While I was there they didn't have much of anything on the shelves.

Savannah was so incredibly helpful! I wanted encanto balloons and they were out, but someone returned a package and she went out of her way to call me back and reserve them for me until I could come in and order them. I really appreciated the dedication to good service.

This is the only place I will ever buy Halloween costumes from ever again. The selection is huge and the quality seems like a substantial upgrade compared to walmart and target. Costumes are a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it in my opinion. Not to mention the convenience of the whole experience. You go in and find the costume you want, tell the employee the size, and they go find it and bring it out to you. Super efficient and far less stress on me. Cannot recommend enough.

Impressively horrendous customer service. We were ignored at the register for about 5 minutes. Before that, we walked past at least eight employees who did not greet us or even acknowledge our existence. Three of them appearing to be management effectively blocked an entire aisle chatting, and while they saw us circling around to get to the other side at least twice, they again did not acknowledge us at all, let alone made space for us to get past. Worth noting that we were two of only four (total) customers in the entire store.

We ordered for balloons to be delivered. Our party started shortly after the store opened so we were really nervous the balloons wouldn’t make it in time. When I called to see if the delivery guy had picked them up yet (party city hires 3rd party people to deliver balloons), the lady that was working offered to deliver the balloons herself if the delivery guy didn’t pick them up shortly.Luckily, we didn’t end up needing her to deliver them because the delivery guy showed up on time, but I was so thankful that party city employee offered to deliver them if all else failed. Very pleased!

This place has everything you could ever need for a party! Costumes and all. They have military discount too. But if you Google "party city coupon" there is always a 20% to 40% coupon you can use to get discounts on everything. I am a repeat customer and will be going there again in the near future. I got glow sticks, necklaces, hats, decorations, candy and all kinds of fun stuff for my daughters roller skating party.

They can be really overpriced for very cheap items but the staff is always friendly and helpful. Ive never had a bad experience i just dont buy a lot because the prices and how cheap the material often is. Good for casual costumes or one night outs like Halloween but nothing much more. The party decor is unique but cheap and expensive.

Called ahead to see if they have Minecraft gift wrapping paper. Was told they have it. Went to the store. After looking around on my own and not finding it I asked one of the staff. He seemed annoyed and said if they have it it would be in aisle 5. Went back to aisle 5 and looked didn’t see it. Asked a different staff person. She actually helped me look. They did not have it. She apologized for me driving in. She was nice but considering I called ahead and the first staff person was rude made for a bad experience.

Two items I was gonna purchase rang up not matching what was shown on the tag, the cashier said that someone must of put it in the wrong place, one of the items there was a whole bunch of them and hes still said someone put it in the wrong place. Then a big display of items and nothing was tagged, also found a few things you can get at dollar tree in there way over priced. Watch out they will rip you off here.

Used to be Party City was a place you could go and get just about anything for a celebration of any type., at a very reasonable price. Also the staff used to be very helpful. The last time I was in there that was not the case! They were overpriced! I had trouble finding anyting for a baby shower! The staff was not helpful and actually was rude! I will definitely think twice before I return to the store!

I purchased a costume via Party City online on October 22. The costume arrived on October 24th. Unknown to me they will not allow costume returns after October 23rd. When arriving the costume did not fit and I saw i had a 30 day return policy so i went to return it to our Party City the store in our town as I had already placed another order to get the costume in time. The manager at the store in Bloomington, IN wouldn’t even come to the front to discuss options with me. I hadn’t even received the purchase by the time I couldn’t return it. I understand there is policy, but the manager didn’t even try to help and hid behind the sales associate. I felt like this was completely unacceptable, and I frequent this place and I have to say I will probably never be back.

One of the few places where you can get anything and everything you need for a party, esp themed items, and they even offer delivery for most hard goods and balloons through Shipt. Be sure and tip your delivery driver!

First they can't fill balloons and second they would not let us return an outfit. Even though they had messed up TWICE & given us the wrong size. So we had decided we wanted to just return the outfit and go somewhere else and they refused to let us return the outfit. I asked to speak the the manager and their manager wouldn't even answer his headset. If you can't handle a job being in management. Then let me make a suggestion for you. Your in the wrong profession!!

They have ALMOST everything you need but are way too expensive!Not sure if I will be revisiting this store again after being told that weddings are "seasonal" and all traditional wedding accessories had been packed up and put away! Put away some of that other junk that you duplicate in three or four places throughout the store and keep wedding out year round! News flash: people get married 12 MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR! I know there is another party store in Bloomington some where!

The Easter eggs quality was terrible. It was made of cheap material and the glitter fell off. The eggs were very hard to close. I don't recommend party city if you want to buy any product with glitter on it.
