Extremely affordable greenhouse & garden store with about anything you could need! I bought a plant, seeds, bird seed, and sticky traps. Lots of really cool plants in the greenhouse for great prices. Plus they had rocks, mulch and more landscaping items. They already had some fruit trees in early February so I’ll definitely be back in the future for more plants and fruit trees! The cashier was super friendly!

This was my first time at May’s Greenhouse and I know that I’ll definitely be coming back. I was all about their house plants when I went there and I could not have been happier with their selection. They had a huge array of so many plants like bonsai, ferns, cacti and succulents, Hoya, sansevieria, philodendrons, pothos, alocasia, and so many more. Their plants were also so reasonably priced for the sizes. I bought their succulents that were already potted in terracotta, but they have lots that are just in plastic grow pots and are a little cheaper because of this. Their staff were super lovely and even made sure to inform me which of the plants i was buying would be toxic to any pets I may have. I definitely recommend stopping in if you can!

I have never had a problem with Mays Greenhouse. I have been going to them for several years. They are open year round, with plant varieties during each season. During spring, summer, and fall, they have all the plants you could ever want. Outside, they have shrubs ranging from decorative trees and bushes, to larger shade trees, to more showy flowering bushes. They also have several greenhouses. One greenhouse is dedicated to annual sun flowers like petunias and marigolds, a building dedicated to shade annuals like impatiens and coleus, one greenhouse dedicated to tropical plants and house plants like philodendrons, succulents, alocasia, pothos, cacti, fiddle leaf trees, and a TON more with shipments very frequently, and one more greenhouse dedicated to perennial shade, part shade, and sun plants and flowers like grasses, hostas, climbing clematis, along with native plants and flowers like yarrow and milkweed. I have never shopped for any vegetables or herbs, but I'm sure Mays has these as well. During the winter, you can also buy Christmas trees and wreaths. Also, Mays has a wide variety of plant pots, containers, planters, and saucers, while inside the building they have garden accessories like bird baths, bird feeders, windchimes, fairy garden supplies, smaller gardening tools like rakes, shovels, watering cans, and gloves. Also, during some months, you can find bags of fertilizers, bulbs for spring or fall flowering plants, and seed packages. Also, their customer service is fantastic. They ask you if you need any help while in the greenhouses, and checkout is quick and easy. Also, Mays has a wide selection of outdoor furniture.Another note, throughout the year Mays has several open house events with raffles, discounts, and prizes.Overall, I have never left Mays empty handed, and I have always been able to find what I needed.

Great Garden center. I love the selection of plants. Friendly staff, and always helpful.pricing is very reasonable compared to other garden stores. I drive 40 miles just to come here.

We purchased a North Carolina Frasier fir tree! Excellent prices and customer service! Highly recommend. They have cute wreaths, decorations, and ornaments as well. Wonderful place to shop!

Just went to Mays for the first time and I was blown away! The last greenhouse I went to left a lot to be desired, but Mays had everything I was looking for and more! I will definitely be coming back soon! I just wish I could bring my grandma from Oregon to shop for plants with me! She would love it! Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for just about anything—houseplants, heirloom roses, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, succulents, cacti, you name it!

They have a lot of nice bonsai trees to pick from (indoor & outdoor), the pots are bit pricey but they are nice and of good quality. They also have a large selection of plants and bulk mulches. The staff is really friendly and helpful, however, the older lady at the cash register is quite rude and lacks customer service skills.

Rude staff, used to shop weekly, now I go to Nashville greenhouse and Abels weekly, I spend a lot of money on plants (too much, but hey it’s in the budget) but, friendly service and knowledgeable employees is where I’m spending my plant money these days and it’s still local so I feel good about that, sure do miss the sisters they were the glue that made Mays special

Mays is hands-down my favorite place in Bloomington to shop for house plants. Their prices are unbeatable, they constantly have new inventory, and their staff is incredibly kind. I always leave with a beautiful new plant (or a few) and a huge smile. If you’re a house plant enthusiast, you have to visit Mays. They will never disappoint.

This place is absolutely amazing! They have everything from Bonsai to water plants to Pots to Mums! they have such a green thumb all the plans were in such good shape there was so many varieties I've lost count after the very first Greenhouse that I visited. This is a must visit. there's some really really pretty things the prices are great!

Every single plant I've ever purchased has been in good health at time of purchase, unlike Lowe's or Home Depot where sometimes the plant seems healthy, but there's root problems. I even find myself coming here sometimes when I'm stressed bc it's so relaxing. Also, they're more than happy to help with all your plant needs

Bought my first tree last year from Mays. The owner helped me pick the perfect tree and tie it on my car for my dad's last Christmas. This year was a shortage of trees but found a sweet tree the day after Thanksgiving. January 3rd and it is as fresh as the day I brought it home! Merry Christmas Daddy❤

Some of the loveliest and most delightful ladies I've ever encountered. They were so sweet, kind and more than happy to help out. They have the most beautiful and lush selection of greenery and trees I have ever seen. The wreaths, trees and garland are so fresh and vibrant, it's as if I went to the forest myself and harvested them.This place has an amazing selection of greenhouse goods year around, so come spring time come on down and prepare to be overwhelmed by the floral fantasy!

May's is great! Wide selection of just about any plant - crops, flowers, ground cover, succulents, bushes, trees, you name it. Also lots of tools, birdbaths, ornaments, landscaping materials etc.It's a madhouse on Mother's Day and may be cleaned out of many starts and seeds just after. I'd recommend calling ahead after May 5 to see what their stock is.

We were heading to another plant nursery in the area and stumbled across this gem. They had a huge selection of plants. House plants, succulents, vegetables, flowers, etc. all of which appeared to be in good health. Plus pots and a plethora of other gardening & landscaping supplies. The staff was friendly & helpful. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but will definitely head back on occasions to check out their stock.

Mays Greenhouse is my favorite place in Bloomington. I buy lots of perennials and annuals every Spring and Summer. I love going there in the winter too because they have a wide variety of houseplants in their greenhouse. So sorry to hear of the flood. I hope they re-open soon.
