I was buying hair dye for my daughter and a staff member noticed what I was getting and told me that the brand I was looking at was one of the more damaging ones for hair and pointed out something that would be a little healthier for her hair. The staff member was very knowledgeable and helpful with something I wouldn't have expected to find much help with so I would say that I was very pleased with my trip to Kroger this evening as usual. Kroger may be a big box store but the staff is very diverse and knowledgeable beyond my expectations.

Bought beer today, cashier wanted to scan my Drivers license. Ain't happening. Look at the ID, see that I'm over 21 and move on with the sale. TMI when they scan. Kroger doesn't need to know how much alcohol I purchase. Anther marketing scam.

So 2 days ago call I call Kroger up bakery in the evening a gentleman answered. I put a order in for my 6year ol get a birthday cake, Well, I call 2 days later to change the time for pick up. And the lady said that she didn't even have an order put in for me!!!! So if I didn't call I would have never known that that boy never even cared to put in the order for me for pick up a birthday cake for my son's party.I would ofwent there and there would have been no birthday cake for my son Party!!! You can't even care to even put a order in for a cake! Selfish lasy people that work for u just cash in easy money don't have to do there job and sit aroun and do nothing!!!

Absolutely the worst Krorger location I've been to. There are never any cashiers available so we're forced to use the self-checkout lanes which don't work right half the time themselves. Takes FOREVER to actually leave the store. There are also two young girls there who are always chatting and doing nothing instead of working on multiple instances. Will never ever be returning to this failure of a location.

I’ve lived in Bloomington since 1990. This Kroger store has really gone downhill in the last three or four years. Too many items in every department on every aisle are consistently out of stock, only half of my shopping list can ever be filled there, and they rarely have more than one checkout lane open in the evening. With the super long lines in the checkout and self service lanes also, it’s horrible customer service that keeps getting worse. Dread having to go in there anymore. Not sure what’s wrong but management needs to pay attention.

Pharmacy tells me in person I can get my prescription in an hour, I go home wait 15 minutes and get a text that Its out of stock. Call the pharmacy back, turns out they never actually checked when I was there and just told me an hour to get me to leave. Pathetic.

This Kroger has everything. It's absolutely huge. Enormous variety of items, with good prices and many specials. Lots of local options and plenty of dine-in options. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

These morons can’t keep shelves stocked, price tags posted, won’t help you if you have an issue with an item from another store, don’t know where anything is. Maybe pay your employees a little bit more so you can demand a higher level of service from them.

I love this Kroger, however, at checkout, they constantly forget to put a bag in my cart. When I get home, I see I’m missing a bag of items. Yes, I get reimbursed or get my items, but this is gas spent having to go back, and this is not just one time, this is quite a few times.

My issue is more with this stupid Kroger app. It wont let me order groceries at my closest Kroger and I’m about to return my loyalty card, delete the app, and curse Kroger forever. Aldi has never been this much of an issue. Edit - the app has been working better until this week, I got Kroger delivery and I bought $125 in groceries and I’ve now been charged $543.94 for it. I’m 100% using up all my fuel points and canceling my loyalty card. I’ll go literally anywhere else now no matter the price tag. Scam fricking company

Beggars in the parking lot coming up to people as they we're either getting out of or getting into their vehicles. One took me by surprise, at first I thought I was getting ready to be robbed and dude wouldn't hardly take no for an answer. I know probably not Kroger's fault but still there parking lot.

This store was once the best grocery store in the midwest. Now its just another symbol of corporate greed, full of self-checkout stations, customer crowds, and too few associates working each shift. The self checks have slowed things down to a crawl, and those machines do not pay taxes or contribute a wage back into the community money pool. Overhead costs go down and prices continue to rise. ALDI is a good alternative.

We moved 3.5 years ago and this is the Kroger that is closest to me now. I started the grocery pickup before we moved at another Kroger in town. I haven't been inside the large Kroger store near us since pre-covid and I'm very happy to pick up my groceries every week! The system works wonderfully and is safer for all involved with the low risk. I wish I could add things on a little closer to the pickup time. The system for ordering through the app and pick up have been nearly flawless! I was worried about someone else picking out my fresh produce but the only time that was an issue was when I tried delivery and a third party person was the shopper, not a Kroger employee.The only frustrating thing more recently has been that many items are not available.

I accompanied my husband to get groceries and he was buying alcohol. The cashier Cindy asked for both of our IDs, but I didn't have my purse with me. She went ahead and honored the purchase even though I didn't have it, but then proceeded to question why I would leave my home without it. I told her it was because I wasn't driving or paying and left it at home for less items for me to carry around. She continued to lecture me even after she had honored the purchase which didn't make sense to me as she was questioning my personal choices. There was also a gentleman ahead of us with 2 teenagers who purchased alcohol and he wasn't hassled at all.

Great selection! Nice store. Has good produce, a huge deli, a decent international section, and large HBA area. Starbucks, sushi counter, and large liquor selection are a nice touch. Plenty of check-out lanes and self check-out.

It's by far the largest Kroger I have ever been to and they seem to have it all, but with thay said, keeping everything in stock is another thing. I blame the company and not the store so I still gave it 5 stars. Tons of checkout lanes but short on employees so checking out can take 1-5 minutes at a uscan and possibly take up to 20 min if you want an actual cashier.

90% of the time they are missing at least one thing I'm trying to get. They consistently have no check out lanes open and no carts in the store. I am physically disabled and it is very difficult for me to go to store at all, let alone to have to go search for a cart and bag up all of my items. That is not okay. They clearly don't teach workers how to bag groceries as they consistently over-fill the bags and then they break while I'm carrying them.

Love the Made To Order Foods and the sushi is great and quick if you're hungry! The bistro gets nicer all the time! The chicken is good, salad bar is excellent and fresh, the individual gourmet pizzas are great and unlike anything around town, and the french fries are amazing! Staff is friendly. The liquor section is really nice, and they carry a nice variety. I enjoy just seeing what all the store has, there is always something to find. If you're looking to get in and out quickly, maybe go to one of the other Kroger stores in town that are smaller. We have four to choose from that all have different qualities!
