Good variety of products, from produce to kitchen gadgets. Good prices with many rotating specials. Recent updates to the interior make it easier to shop. Staff are usually busy but friendly. The pharmacy is excellent. The neighborhood serves a large variety of social and economic communities, so each visit can vary from affirming to irritating to scary. For example, the men's room is often trashed.

It is probably the most accessible grocery store in Bloomington by bike. However, the carts lock every time you take them over to the bike racks. Also, my bike headlight just got stolen while shopping. At least the whole bike wasn't gone, but I almost got into an accident on the ride back home because a car couldn't see me. I ended up flying off of my bike from braking so hard and got severely bruised. All of this makes me think twice about shopping here again given how sketchy the area is.

I approached the front door, and as if my Magic they opened. Stunned, I entered the Store.. There was food everywhere. On the Shelves They had Boxes filled with any type of food you could imagine. I couldn't believe it.... 💸👑

When I was walking into Kroger today I could tell a homeless man was watching where I parked and as I was exiting the Kroger he waited in the middle of the parking lot and was following where I was walking back to my car. I walked back into the Kroger and asked an employee if someone could walk me back to my car. The staff was so unbelievably kind and graciously walked me back to my car twice to help me with what I needed. Mark and the staff at Kroger genuinely are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and I’m so grateful for the kindness they showed me today.

The store itself is well stocked and the staff is pleasant. However, the location leaves a lot to be desired. The parking lot is crawling with homeless and / or impaired individuals who seemingly live at the park across the street. Despite having an unmanned patrol car parked in the parking lot, there is no security. Unless this town fixes this issue, I will not be returning.

Shopping at this Kroger this weekend has been terrible. Nothing is where it's supposed to be and a large amount of items that were once available just cease to exist on the store floor. The parking lot is also a lot messier than when I used to reset this store. Trent Stovall? Might be time to change contracts again 🤔

I’ve been shopping at Bloomington Kroger stores for over 25 years. Overall, a good place to shop. I was denied from purchasing a bottle of wine due to the fact that I was accompanied by my 17 yr. old son. The store manager’s explanation was that we live in a college town and they have a right to deny alcohol purchase at their discretion. Not only did I get denied but they said I would have to wait 24hrs before I could buy alcohol at this location. 👎

This place is horrible. Bad staff, disgusting building overall. Doesn’t look like it’s ever cleaned. Staff just stand around and chit-chat. Rarely ever come to help, and the self check out is so wasteful. No matter what they call some employee to help — even if help isn’t needed, then it takes forever to get an employee. Don’t expect much from here. Definitely kroghetto.

This Kroger gets a bad rep for its location but I think it’s the best in town. The College Mall Kroger is the largest in the country; so no doubt there is a wider selection of products there. But with how much sugar, preservatives, and added junk is in most food products today, the most important feature of a big neighborhood grocery store is the produce section imo and this Kroger’s is the best. I think because it’s smaller, it’s more frequently re-stocked and this fresher.

This is the closest Kroger to where I live but I drive to any other Kroger if I have the time. The staff is nice but the store itself needs work. It smells bad and often times things are out of stock or in the wrong place. Even though the College Mall Kroger is much larger, it is easier to find things there.

I stopped in at 8:00 on a Saturday morning while riding my bike on the nearby B Line trail, ready for an infusion of calories and found zero donuts or other pastries in the bakery case. I left empty handed and disappointed.

Things have gotten really bad at this location. They only have self checkout and there's not even a person there to fix the machines when they stop working like 3 times per checkout because they need someone to come enter a code or something. So after waiting in line for self checkout for 30 minutes you can sit there and wait 5 minutes for an employee and then have to walk around the store to try to find an employee to check out. It's insane. walmart is exponentially better at this point. that says a lot.

One turkey in the whole store @$1.59lb. Many shelves low stock. Good apple sale: Fuji, Gala & Pinks $.99lb. Low bakery stock: no cakes/pies. Good deal on Land 'O Lakes butter @$2.49lb on the buy 10 deal (Any 10 items in the store that are included). Check the ad for specific items included.

The employees are friendly, but they are often out of things. I am finding this to be a rule rather than an exception. They do not have one or two items that I shop for weekly about every other week that I shop. I appreciate their recent attempts to build more shelving, though. And it's a clean, good-looking store.

This is a right sized grocery store. Great variety and modern. Not so big that you can't go back across the store for forgotten items. Great pharmacy. All store staff are on the ball, work hard, and genuinely seek to provide great customer service

I just love this store. Customer Sevice is the best I've ever seen at any Kroger in town. The person that really stands out to me here is RICH. He is the best hands down. He needs to be employee of the year. He makes shopping her worth it.Thanks Rich!!!!!

Good selection and friendly staff. Plus this Kroger has a hundred other things going for it once you get inside, like the bistro, a mile-long deli counter stocked with great options. Having said that, I always seem to get burned on produce at Kroger, which isn't an issue at other supermarkets. Still, for price and convenience it's hard to beat.

I shop here all the time and haven't really had any issues with it. They have a wide variety of foods, produce and deli meats, it's always been clean and inviting, and the staff are helpful if you need them. Plus, the food isn't too expensive for a big retail store, and their card saves a ton of money with sales and deals so definitely sign up for one if you plan on shopping here a lot (it's free!).One star off though because their deli counter might be the slowest ever. I hate to berate employees, because they're always nice enough, but it will literally take over 20 minutes to get just one or two types of lunch meat. I can't possibly tell you what takes up all that time. It's absurd. So if you want deli meat (which is infinitely better than prepackaged meat), be prepared for a wait.It can also get pretty busy on weekends, which makes maneuvering carts somewhat difficult. Fair warning.

The store has gone to hell since the 80's and the area is rough. The shelves we're almost empty and the products un faced, and it seemed I had to keep looking over my shoulder for personal security reasons. The checkout clerk was not friendly and not pleasant to even look at, she was all tatted up and looked like she was straight off the block and not interested at all to be working. Supposedly the store was just remodeled, but my guess is they're trying out a retro ghetto motif, but I don't know. We won't be back.

This is the best Kroger in Bloomington in my opinion. Never too busy, and has a large selection of items. Not nearly as big as the Kroger on the Eastside, however I find that one to be overwhelming. I do wish they hadn't gotten rid of their olive bar, but with Covid that's kind of out of the question anyway I suppose. Their bakery is large, produce is well stocked and there's plenty of self checkouts and scan-n-go devices available.

This had a lot of food and is a pretty good size Kroger. Lady at checkout was nice. They had a well variety of foods and had multiple brand choices for every item. Very fresh fruits and vegetables at a great price! I would recommend stopping by here for some groceries if you’re nearby!
