Smaller compared to other Krogers in Bloomington, but shelves are usually well stocked.

Get Your Food Poisoning Here!A SELL BY date indicates the day an item must be sold by to be considered safe to consume. The North Kinser Kroger apparently believes sell-bys are more open to interpretation.Normally, if an item is marked for sale by the 13th, it is deeply discounted for sale on the 12th so that it will meet the deadline. Not so at this location! They play fast and loose with those requirements, especially with pre-made salads and pre-cooked meats, the food items most at risk for making people sick. Today is the 14th. Chickens clearly marked for the 13th are still for sale AND on a heating table, the same meat that was for sale yesterday. When I asked about the items, I was told that the person responsible for that wouldn't be in until 10 am.No one here considered themselves responsible for ensuring food reheated a day past the sell-by date on a hot table is safe. They shuffled around like characters from a dystopian sci-fi novel, as if they're reanimated shells. "I don't know how to do that," said one, when asked if he thought the reheated meat might need to be removed.Disgusting.

Why is everything so expensive? Its not inflation "Kroger's profit also topped $2.2 billion, up 35.6% from 2021, outpacing the 7.5% sales growth for the year" Cincinnati Enquirer 3/2/23 . This is price fixing, the grocery store industry does not compete for lower prices any longer. So much for the capitalist competition. Guess the CEO doesn't feel the squeeze when he's making 19 million per year. He should try and live off the 28k avg his employees make for two years and see how he does.

Even though it is not the worst Kroger in town, I'm still extremely dissatisfied with Kroger(s) overall for the following reasons:1)getting rid of (all but one) cashier, except in the morning when there are none. Even though customers have spoken, that we all hate self-checkout, you still refuse to hire cashiers just because that became the trend in many grocers during COVID. Everybody hates self-checkout. And we are starting to hate the grocery for it. you're making customers do the work for you! And it obstructs the check-out process, takes so much longer. There are always issues, and hold ups.2) Every time I come to Kroger, you have moved the categories around again. I know why you do it. I know corporate strategies include changing where categories are located in order for people to spend more time in the store, looking for the things we need. it's an incredibly antagonistic practice to the customer. Find a better way to fit things into your store but keep your layout of categories the same so we know exactly where to find them! We want to know where to find things with ease. I have to ask an employee every time where something is because you've moved it again.Publix does not do that. You go into the store and know exactly where your items are because they know that's what customers want. Do you know what their tagline is? "We're shopping is a pleasure." Learn something from Publix and be better, Kroger! We want you to succeed. But right now we hate you. I avoid shopping at you as much as I can because your tagline is "where shopping makes customers disgruntled."Learn from Publix, with their amazing employee owned / mutually-held corporate structure, which drives all of their choices towards customer satisfaction- driven corporate values, where the customer matters (& comes first!)

So I would like to say that, going the extra mile is not in a employee here in customer service. I may have forgotten a bag in a cart 20 dollars worth of groceries, I know he doesn't have to try and locate it, but for someone that had to Uber to by groceries I can't risk spending money to go back and not fing it. I could have easily told him what items they were but he didn't bother. I don't know who you are by may you be treated the way you treat other people.

In and out in a jiff!!! I don't mind self checkout when I have a few items. I did see 1 register was attended by a cashier.

The Pharmacy at Kroger off Kinser Pike is a joke. Your prescriptions are never filled on time. They say they'll be ready at 1 o'clock. You go in the young cashier says no not till 5 o'clock and she acts like you're asking for blood. This is the last time I'll ever go to Kroger for prescriptions. I've been in the medical field for 30 years and if I'd ever treated anyone like this, I would of been fired.

Worst Kroger in town by far. They consistently have the bottom of the barrel when it comes to produce. They are also poorly stocked. It’s a gamble when you come here. Apparently, you also have to fetch your own cart from the parking lot because they literally had no carts in the store, despite a bunch of lost-looking employees standing around the cash registers twiddling their thumbs.

First time at a Kroger and wanted to give it a try since it was on the way and didn’t wanna detour to go to another store. *Never* again. Wow, after realizing their prices are literally double than their competitors, and dealing with their rude staff, and waiting in line because half the cash registers were closed, I’m finally ready to pay and they don’t take Apple Pay. Let me repeat that: in the 21st century, there’s a major store that does not have Apple Pay. I thought the guy was joking, seriously. What a waste of my time. Next time I wouldn’t dare go into a Kroger.

I arrived here shortly before 8:00 am. i wanted to purchase a beef round steak to prepare for our dinner tonight. All I could find were very nice beef round roasts. I asked the butcher (who was busily preparing his fresh meat display case) if he could make a lateral cut through the roast to make two steaks from the roast. He very graciously confirmed he would, even though I had obviously interrupted his morning routine. I asked for them to be run through the tenderizer, which he again gladly did.

Great produce most of the time, but we bought peaches that wouldn't ripen and turned moldy, the organic cherries tasted like sulfur and too much sulfur can cause asthma and other problems. I like Laura's lean ground beef from here and usually the fresh salmon is good. I wish they wouldn't move things around so much, it's getting to be like walmart, couldn't find the popcorners because they moved them again. I like this location but won't shop at the one on 3rd street.

Despite the place being packed due to the impending Snowmageddon, all of the staff were friendly and worked efficiently. They were doing their best to keep everything in stock and to ensure every customer had an okay experience. Every available checkout had a cashier and the baggers were doing a great job, moving quickly, and making sure there were carts as quickly as they could. Overall a good experience. Good job!

Pharmacy staff are very rude over the phone. Like... oddly rude. Very weird. Didn't have that with the other locations. Just Kinser.

A great Kroger store with many great people working there. Since it has switched from Marsh to Kroger it has created a better overall atmosphere with a lot better prices. The layout is similar to the previous store so people who frequently shopped there prior to Marsh's closing will find it familiar. I look forward to shopping there often in the future.

The last two times I went here (after routinely shopping here every week) there haven't been any carts on the indoor cart carousel, and both times I informed a team member and they told me that someone was out there bringing the carts in. Both times, there was absolutely no one out there either going to get the carts or out there bringing them in. That means that they not only directly lied to the customer but also either refused to send someone out there or do it themselves.

I have to say the staff here are extremely friendly. If your knee in the system's they're more than happy to try to help you. They have a decent section a vegetables and fruits. They have a hot bar and a hot food section. The only issue with the store is the layout of where they have certain items. It's messed up certain things that you would expect to find near others this store is not set up like that.

*It's a nice small place and has some nice people. (Though the staff, more specifically the males are all dark hair, pale boys and it is kind of freaky.)*It has somewhat all my needs.* Kind of expensive in some categories.*I think some of the staff are high or intoxicated because their eyes are red.* I also like how the staff doesn't really care about alcohol procedures like the other stores, the others ask for all party's ids and one of these guys only ask for mine and not my friends, which is cool but I think he could get in trouble for that. Some of the carts are bad but others are okay.* some aisles smell* overall, the staff is kind of weird (must be that they're high), the prices are okay, and the location is good.

This Kroger's selection and cleanliness has gotten a lot better, as with most of the Kroger in the area. Usually much less busy than the East Side Kroger. The location is a little difficult to enter/exit sometimes, but otherwise it's my go-to Kroger just for the location and how well maintained it is.

This store is always out of things, not sure if they are out or lack of staff to stock the shelves. How can you be out of milk, today I stopped to get milk and the the case was empty of 2% milk. They have also stopped caring products that we always were able to purchase when it was a marsh store. With the number of students who shop at this store you would think they could keep products on the shelves. Someone needs to get there act together and keep products on the shelves.

Went to pay my lot rent through pay lease and Susan at customer service didn't know how to do it got rude with me and called over manger named Jaime she had no clue how to do it even though I filled out a paper from their store and she didn't even know where the paper came from and she handed it back to me and said to have a good day sarcastically

My first experience at KroNo was very good. Isaac in produce went above and beyond to help me find an item they were low on when I was in a pinch. Top notch customer service from him and I was able to get what I needed and got out the door in a reasonable time. Thanks Isaac!

Tried to get a hold of the store's manager Jon Stinson but haven't heard anything or if the problem is solved. Most of the cashiers are incompetent and they are high (literally their eyes are red and they think that eye drops can get rid of it). The store smells like a dirty man rubbed his butt across each aisle and then let a fart out for a good measure.PLEASE JON DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR YOUNGER EMPLOYEES and actually clean the store or have a freshener. The food selection is okay.

This Kroger has the worst customer service ever. Exspecially in the DELI .Louanna needs to be trained on how to treat people. She is rude an has avery nasty attitude. She needs to get it together. Shes gonna be mean to the wrong person one day. An the might not be as nice as i was .The only sweet person at this store is Ms.SUSIE.She has the best service ever. If we didnt hafta wear these mask you could see her beautiful smile. Louanna could learn alot from her.

The frozen section is comprised of old Marsh Supermarket freezers. These freezers are terrible and induce significant freezer burn due their inability to maintain temperature. I’ve unfortunately purchased too many freezer burned items at this location. To be clear, the freezer burn is quite significant, to the point of not useable! The location is great for me personally, but I won’t return until upgrades are made.
