This is a locally owned ice cream place along the road in Elliotsville. We stopped here after going to the driving range down the road. The menu was huge. I told the guy at the window that we had never been there before, so it would be a minute (when he asked what we wanted). It was a Friday around 2pm and we were the only ones in line outside. He was a bit rude and not helpful to even answer my questions about what a cyclone was or guide me on ordering something I would like. They have a window at the front to order and also a drive-through. They have lots of parking. There's a side eating area, but in February, it doesn't look appealing.I asked what brand the icecream was, because sometimes business will put homemade but it actually isn't. The guy and girl at the window were a little taken aback and said it's homemade, which told me its actually homemade. I decided to order a sundae with a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter with caramel sauce. It came in a Styrofoam cup. I also ordered a taco Supreme which was soft shell, ground beef meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream.The icecream tasted good! But I got whipped cream and a cherry and I didn't ask for that part. I should have gotten something crunchy in it too, but o well.The taco was good, but it was just a normal taco, nothing fancy.

The ice cream tasted amazing. Homemade, what more can you say about that. The inside of the store was disgusting. It looked like no one cleaned at all. I understand the floor being unclean a little bit but all the containers where the toppings were at had drippings all over them. All the counter spaces looked like they hadn’t wiped them down all day. The milkshake machine looked like, well look at the photos 😳 I was kinda concerned about getting sick but I was gonna go through hell and back to get some of their ice cream 🤣😂…. Just please clean up your store. I never leave bad reviews but this was disgusting.

Delicious piece of small town life. Ice cream was wonderful and the fried pickles as well.We stopped in on a cloudy rainy day so it would not be as busy. There is always a line, the sign of a great place 😍

Excellent ice cream just around the block from home. We've not eaten any of the food there, just ice cream. Loads of flavors, yup. sundae's yummy, parfait love it, cyclones are the family favorite. I don't know how many times they will come to me and say "dad JT??" The answer is always yes.

Ate the chicken salad on 9/15/23 and it had mold in it. I ended up in the ER with lots of bills Over a $9 salad. I loved this place (past tense) and now I can't go back as I can't trust the food. The food tastes amazing, it makes me sad I can't go back, but hundreds of dollars , missed work, and health complications isnt worth it. Shame on you jiffy treat.

I have tried a decent amount of things on the menu. And each time has had the same result, food poisoning. I tried giving it a final chance last night with grilled chicken salad. And the result? Bingo food poisoning

The ice cream is pretty great but imo, not worth dealing with the weirdly aggressive people in line at either the front windows or drive-thru. I've had people ready to wreck into my car to get ahead in line at the drive-thru. We now just drive to Grands all the way in Spencer and get our ice cream a lot faster, incredibly.

Nice little ice cream shop. Been there since I was small however I could use a revamp. Ice cream was nearly melted when serves but not bad. Love their fried pickles! Best I've had by far!

Great chocolate malts and ice cream, but the food used to be better quality several years ago. I'm sure the hot dogs are not all beef. Barbecue used to be better as well. Still not a bad choice, considering the limited options in the area. Hardworking and friendly staff.

Love it here! Everything is good and made fresh to order. I love their slushies and iced tea. You really can’t go wrong with any of the food either because it’s all delicious. They’ve got every flavor of ice cream you can think of. It’s always packed and if you go you’ll understand why. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been!

I love this place have been going there for years even when I was a young person on then my stepdad and Jesse James used to take my children and myself and my mom and my ex husband all to jiffy Treet to have what he called lemon licking that was what he called it.

Love jiffy treet. Last time I went I ordered a brownie banana Royale and didn't know it came with peanuts. My baby has a peanut allergy, so when they handed it to me I asked if I could give it back, as I didn't realize it came with nuts, and I offered to pay for a new one without them. The girl at the window was very nice and said it was OK, that they'd make me a new one without them at no charge. Also ordered a blt and it was delicious!
