This was my first time at this location. We went around 9pm on a Friday in Feb. Looks cute, easy to get to and park. I walked in and the 2 girls working the front had a look of disgust and annoyance. Definitely not pleasing to talk to, ask questions, or understand what the ice cream shop offered. There was no hi, what can I get you, how are you, nothing. I politely said with a smile, I've never been here before, so I don't know what I want. They just sat there and stared at me. They didn't explain the flavors or if they were homemade or what a cyclone was or anything. So I saw the cup sizes sitting on the counter and chose a german chocolate cyclone. The actual flavor itself was delicious. Chocolate with coconut, caramel and pecans. It did melt pretty fast. My husband was coming into the building still and I said just a moment, he'll order something and pay for them both. She was annoyed and confused. I let the girl behind me order first. Then my husband got a cyclone too. When he asked what was the size of the small cup and the price, they rudely pointed to the cups on the side counter. We went back to the car and ate our icecream, as I didn't want to sit on the metal chairs inside. It was good flavor, but I won't be back due to the rude employees.

Literally went there, ordered a hot fudge sundae with no peanuts. The girl next to me ordered the same. She gets her hot fudge sundae (3 scoops of ice cream with hot fudge and cake and peanuts). She grabs it and is happy. I am patiently waiting for my order. I am told by the server hey, this is yours. I get a cup with a scoop of ice cream. I ask her "Hey are you sure this is my hot fudge?".She says "Yeah". I walk out. It was also 11$ and I gave her a 2$ tip. I normally don't post reviews and I am very non confrontational. Now I am sitting on my couch and crying and eating this. Lol!PS- I am not white, and yes, I speak perfect english.That's all.

My favorite ice cream place in town. Despite some reviews mentioning issues with the service, I didn't encounter any problems. The young staff were perhaps not as sharp (for lack of a better word) as some might expect but I think they deserve a bit of leniency. My experiences here have been positive and any minor service hiccups are overshadowed by the quality of the ice cream

I’ve had jiffy treet shakes before and been happily satisfied; this was not one of those occasions. Ordered a birthday cake shake at this location. Was given the thinnest “shake” I’ve ever seen. I tried to give it a chance, but it was not right, like obviously added too much milk. Asked a staff member if their shakes are usually this thin, knowing that they aren’t, and the young man said yes, I’m assuming because he didn’t want to remake it for the girl that messed it up the first time. I got a straw and left to go throw the mess away. What a waste of money.

Ordered a cheese cake cyclone asked for a scoop of lemon custard on top. Was told they can't mix. Somehow they gave me a scoop of lemon custard with cheese cake sprinkled on top. I told them that's not what I ordered. They simply told me we can't mix home made ice cream with cyclones. And walked away ignoring me completely.Ok I get you can't mix but how does that make you can order whatever you feel like I should have and not explain what I am getting before you take my money.How is it ok to walk away from a customer who just told you that's not what I ordered. Without even offering a refund. You just lost a customer. Chocolate moose wouldn't have had a problem and neither would diary queen of boosters.And if I told any of them that wasn't what I ordered it would have been made right or my money back!!! I'm felt forced to accept an ice cream I did not want.Ok I

On my way home from kayaking at Lake Monroe on 4th of July, I stopped by this place for the first time, and ordered a small size cup. Then I realized it’s too small and asked for a medium one. They gave me a medium size cup but only charged me for the small size. Super nice and amicable!! Guys come enjoy the ice cream and their hospitality!!!!!!!!!

The last 2 times we have been there, the service and food were pretty disappointing. (Both times have been after 5pm). I feel like this location has really gone downhill since the summer.When we came in, we were not greeted but rather just given a side eye/stare down. When we ordered it felt like we were a huge inconvenience. When we were given our orders, there was ice cream sliding down the cups, and one cup was busted up. We will not be returning, as there are lots of other options for ice cream in the Bloomington area.

Best locally homemade ice cream! Butter pecan is my favorite, but they offer lots of great flavors.🍨🍦🍧😋Husband and son usually get Cyclones so they can get their favorite mix-ins...heath, oreo, m&m, etc. Last time I tried a Campfire S'mores Cyclone... very good & marshmallow not over powering 😊😋

My cookie dough ice cream is amazing. I really enjoyed it they have always done a good job every single time. I will of course be back. The workers are friendly at this location. They are fast efficient and kind. Thank you again for a pleasant time and good food. I've been going there for years.

So overpriced! I’m not sure what happened since we left town. My wife and I used to come here daily. This visit we spent $18.00 on 2 items. Selection was lacking and my wife didn’t even get what she ordered. I’ll be buying Graeter’s at the grocery from now on.Also, listened to the employees insult a customer after he left the store. We won’t be back.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT WELCOME BLACK PEOPLE. Upon entering, we were not greeted at the door. Although the party of 10 people in front of us were not ready to order, the cashier refused to take my order. I was very disappointed in the service I received, especially since I wanted to support a local business, but their service is absolutely off putting. I will not be returning!

If you like fast and friendly service, smiling faces, delicious ice cream and crunchy cones--- this is the place for you!They offer seasonal flavors, such as pumpkin right now (as it is the fall). My favorite one is the black raspberry --- so juicy and tasty!The staff is very fun and friendly. The service was very quick and polite.The location is clean and cozy. With plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting.

In my opinion THEE best ice cream pla e in Bloomington/ Bedford. Not expensive, super yummy, and the kids are always friendly.It reminds me of the place we would go after our ball games back home (NY), 25+ years ago. Lol.I highly recommend, if you're an ice cream / frozen yogurt addict (like me 😁) you stop by one of their locations and love it for yourself!

I went to this Jiffy treat on Tues June 29, got two milkshakes medium vanilla and medium butter pecan. I was told it was 16.00 ask why oh they you have to pay tax. I suppose Mom and Pop shops, I will not suppose adding 20 percent to the bill. Look at my receipt they charge 2.43 for each shake besides the cost. yes they refund five dollars. Everyone needs to check their receipt. This place has lost my business and yes posted this on Facebook also

We have never had a problem here until tonight. The man must have been fairly new or really just doesn't care. We ordered 2 small cyclones and a sundae and 5 other people behind us got there orders before us. And my cyclone was supposed to be a turtle cyclone and it was literally vanilla ice cream ( which I dont like just vanilla ice cream ) with 3 pieces of graham crackers and 4 or 5 pieces of chocolate. I now know why I always get ice cream on a cone...ugh

As you might expect in a place that specializes in desserts it is awesome. In addition the normal ice cream, they have vegan alternatives that are quite good. They also have just about every ice cream mix in you can think of. The staff is always polite and even though it is frequently busy they are fast. I highly recommend Jiffy Treet.

The cyclones at Jiffy Treat are amazing. Lots of mix-ins to customize and make your own creation. They also have a little selection of sandwiches and fries. I find the prices to a little on the high side. We payed almost $20 for a cyclone, parfait, and a scoop of homemade in a cup. But how can you put a price on bliss?
