Friendly and helpful staff, and an accommodating menu with great prices. Had a lovely time on the veranda. Everything was Delicious! Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Dishes that contain seitan and tofu, as well as meat alternatives such as mushroom bacon.Parking: There are some paid parking spots across the road by the trail, but there's a small free lot behind the building.

Hopscotch’s coffee program rivals any I’ve had in Indiana. The food was impressive as well with lots of vegetarian options. A good spot whether you’re looking for a quick coffee, chill lunch or to work for the afternoon.Vegetarian options: Most if not all food items had a tofu protein option.

An absolute local gem—the food served at the Kitchen is all incredible and consistently good. They serve truly delectable vegan meals alongside other fare and homemade vegan seasonal soups for $5/$7 small/large—an affordable and filling option. There is something for everyone’s needs, even a kids menu, and a full coffee bar. You will not be disappointed, and it’s off a walking trail (the B-Line) that leads to south to Switchyard Park and north to downtown. Beautiful patio. Need I say more?? Go!Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids play area, especially good for toddlers & littles under 5.

The first words from the wonderful staff member here were,"Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions..." Wow. I knew from that point on we were well taken care of.There were some great options for me on Whole30. Fruit & eggs. They were delicious. I was SUPER impressed with this place and I highly recommend you check it out for breakfast + coffee sometime soon. Great for kids to play too with a special play area for them.Vegetarian options: Fresh fruit was delicious!Dietary restrictions: Whole30, Vegan, Gluten-Free, PaleoKid-friendliness: A special play area just for kids!

Came here to study on a Sunday afternoon. It’s a very popular spot! Lots of students come here with their laptops to work. The kitchen has limited hours compared to the cafe. My only complaint is that the matcha smoothie only came in one size, and that there isn’t much to absorb the sound of talking in the place.Vegetarian options: Drinks can be made with milk alternatives.

Their coffee is ok. Not stellar but not bad either. The atmosphere is great because they have free fast wifi and loads of tables with loads of grad students and under grads at their computers doing work. I go there for the atmosphere and to work, primarily. It is actually one of my favorite coffee shops. And they do roast their own coffee.

Most accessible and queer friendly cafe in Bloomington. Ramp is ADA compliant and both bathrooms are ADA compliant & gender neutral. Only cafe in town that offers these options. Also best matcha latte in town (I’ve tried them all).Parking: Free parking around back in the lot and up along the fence. Don’t pay for parking around front where google maps will take u unless there r no other options (then it is $3 for the whole day). If u do have to pay for parking, u could get a coffee and stroll along the bline to get your moneys worth.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible ramp. Cannot stress this enough bc Bloomington sucks when it comes to cool places to exist comfortably as a wheelchair user/disabled person. Yay for hopscotch!

Great coffee shop. In my opinion, they have the best coffee in town. Many blends are fair trade beans (they will grind them for you if you need) in a wide variety. Great drinks, and a small amount of baked goods from the nearby rainbow bakery and other places. This location also sells a few coffee making items and has a restaurant open Weds-Sat with good food, locally sourced, and vegetarian and vegan options. There's a decent space to sit and work, nice big covered porch that is dog friendly, accessible ramp, and a small area with toys for toddlers.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a long ramp at the front.

A local hidden gem with great coffee and tasty food that is located along the popular B-Line walking path, it’s a great place to stop in for a quick coffee, a sit down breakfast/lunch or a sweet treat from the case! Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike as you are be treated with care and friendliness while the staff prepares your order. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This review is for the food side only. The guacamole tastes store bought and was terrible. The bacon says three strips and was one strip broken into three pieces and microwaved, this was also terrible. The first thing the cashier did was look at what amount of tip was given. I wouldn’t eat here again. The decor is not cozy, but cafeteria feeling with sparkles.

We went to hopscotch for the first time and it was delicious! I got a cappuccino with lavender syrup...it was incredible hands down! The savory flavor of the lavender mixed the slight sweetness from the cappuccino was just perfect! I’m excited to try they’re other syrups on our next trip (probably the rose flavor...yum!) Just ask which syrups they have available to pick your favorite! We also got a breakfast Sammich which was also very tasty! They are doing pickup only due to COVID and everyone is very conscious and safe. Can’t wait for our next visit!!

When I moved to Bloomington the first order of business was to find a spot I could default to to study and spend time with folks, & Hopscotch has rapidly become that place. The coffee is exceptional, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is always extremely pleasant & accommodating. It is clear that Hopscotch loves the community & vice versa.

Those other coffee shops will tell you that they cant get a cappuccino to foam with plain old almond milk. These guys are professionals. Pros really. We are lucky to have them. Super flavorful grind combined with the light and creamy foam. Yum. Plus the atmosphere is condusive to actually getting quality work done.

The atmosphere is lovely, the seating is ample, and the location is convenient to Switchyard Park. Parking can get a bit difficult, but it's along a walking trail, after all. I used to go regularly in Bloomington and service was excellent, but I came back after a year to meet a friend and the 3 girls working seemed more interested in chatting together than acknowledging folks. It was weird enough I've since gone to Soma anytime I've been back in Bloomington, and it's been a minute.🤷♀️ They do carry Rainbow Bakery goods, though! Plus if you're vegan/vegetarian.

You can get a Cortado here, which is a great drink when you don't want to fill up too much before you go and fill up on pizza and wings. Also, when the urge hits to challenge someone in a game of chess, they have a chess mat and pieces so you can own the fool who wants to accept your invitation.

I absolutely love this place. They're served by my kind of people and have amazing coffee. The music is quiet but loud enough to hear. Great place to study or have quiet conversation.UPDATE: There is now a breakfast/lunch cafe inside. Food looked amazing. Menu attached.Features: Masks preferred, especially while ordering

Best coffee in town! Everyone working here are always upbeat and kind. Their housebrew/blend “SmartShark” is really good if you want traditional coffee, and if you want to try something unique: black sesame lattés! But everything’s good! Vegan breakfast sandwich is amazing too with housemade sriracha sauce.

always love hopscotch coffee, great place to go and work on a project alone or with others at a communal table spot — food is lovely, sometimes I just wish for slightly larger portions of side options to fill my stomach. you can tell a lot of love and time has been put into this place, it remains a beacon in bloomington community for a friendly place to hop to :)
