Way overpriced on furniture and kids toys. The woman stocking glassware was really nice. I never been to this location before. Prices might be higher because college students. They have nice organization in the clothing and shelves!

Probably one of the most organized and yet sparse and oh so dusty. Goodwills! I've been to. The selection of children's clothing is limited and much of it has seen better days. Of course, being a thrift store, that's to be expected. Cheap prices.

Great prices good deals my only complaint is if there's more than 4 people in line you should open another registerUpdate Dec 29th...the line is 10 deep .only 2 cashier's..... UghUpdate 6-19-2020 I liked that I wasn't forced to wear a mask if I didn't want too. Lines still 4 to 5 people deep.

Higher prices. Poorer selection. Overloaded with resellers. A few resellers hang out in the store all day. So, it's difficult to find a hidden gem.Prices shot up after the pandemic and the new rewards system went into effect (no discounts for seniors or military, no half off days, no color code discounts).

Shopping with my daughter: I found some items on my 'need to get' list. I found some cute tins to fill for Valentine's Day treats for my grandbabies. After trying on some grown girl clothes, my daughter is delighted with her Boho style clothing finds. Best finds: a large suitcase for $8 & a Vera Wang skirt, still with tags.

They have removed the fitting rooms, won't allow you to try things on in the restrooms, and have removed all mirrors except the one in the very middle of the main aisle. They clearly do not want you to try things on before you buy, which is delusional for a thrift store, especially since their return policy only allows returns for store credit. I am deeply disappointed in both of the Bloomington Goodwills for using this extremely predatory strategy to try and get people to buy things they don't even fit.

When buying clothes there it's likely something isn't going to fit. If I am paying cash, that's what I want back, not store credit,unless they supply groceries or gas. That's not the definition of "goodwill " more like Goodfellas.

Don't get a chance to go here very often. ..Will tell the community this..Purchased a refrigerator about 2 yrs ago for 275 bucks..It's absolutely the best ..Food and drinks stay good and cool..Freezer has not done anything but freeze food..Yes I gave it the courtesy wipe down with sanitizer..Other than that it's been great..I would definitely get a major appliance here ...Yes they provide a 30 day grace incase...I don't think you will need it..I was assured they test major appliance before sale..They told the truth

what about paying the disabled substandard wages simply because they can?  1/5 horrible corporation. Don't help goodwillDonate to the food bank or to salvation army; places that actually help the community.I really can't get past how this horrible "goodwill" for profit corporation masquerades as a charity. They are nothing of the sort. Anything donated here will primarily benefit a handful of people who do not even live in Bloomington. They also leverage horrible practices that allow them to pay handicapped workers LESS than minimum wage. You read that correctly: sometimes as low as $0.23 an hour and in very dehumanizing work conditions. Do your research on this corporation, they no longer serve as the only 2nd hand thrift store. They don't even have any of their original values they started with. You won't see any of these abused workers at the store, because it's behind the scenes in larger windowless warehouses in another state. If you donate a bunch, they will ship the majority of it off via freight to one of these sites where the real abuse takes place.

Realy disappointed in the store. I went in to find a cord for my blue ray DVD player and the people at checkout acted like they didn't know what that was. I got no help from any of the staff. You might want to retrain your workers so they have knowledge of what it is you are selling. It's better to have some basic knowledge about the different items you sell than no knowledge at all. Also there was no price tags on the items.

Everyone should stop donating here. Goodwill takes all of the clothes, toys, art etc in which they think is worth something and put it up on their auctioning website to try and make more money. Goodwill has money. It’s a 20 million dollar company if not more. This place is disgusting and needs to be sued

This Goodwill was HUGE! My visit here was awesome. They have tons of nice clothing and shoes for sale and a bunch of other stuff. I like the grab bags for 2.99. I got a neat grab bag with 3 pillow mist sprays 1 body spray and 1 lotion. The employees were all nice too.

They have increased the prices and the stores always a mess. They decrease the number of employees which makes for a longer wait time. I used to spend quite a bit of money in Goodwill but now I will not pay what they're asking for most of the stuff.

We stopped in today to browse your book selection. We found a handful of books that we were looking for and headed for the cash register. Imagine our surprise to find that the prices for USED books have DOUBLED since the last time we visited two months ago. There is NO SIGNAGE that represents this price change whatsoever.It was even more aggravating to also learn at the register that we no longer get 10% off for being a Rewards member. For a small handful of books, some of them being fiction and some being children’s books, it was over $20 when it should have been in the $10 to $15 range!!!!With the loss of weekly and blowout monthly sales, the loss of the dressing rooms, the loss of the Rewards program as it previously was established, and the price increases, Goodwill has become a garbage store and I don’t recommend coming here at all.

Great stuff! Even for your kiddos! But sometimes a little too crowded due to so much good stuff! Just shows it's a great goodwill to check out! Staff are awesome. Even customers are willing to help you find things your looking for! I don't get why people are so judgmental in the reviews! Guess they want to hurt goodwill's business. Of course it just makes them look negative. Oh well. This is the cleanest goodwill we've ever been too!

Important: this rating is scored vs other goodwill stores. I just needed a pair of shorts for the day, what happened to mine is not important... use your imagination. This location is huge( like most goodwill these days). Plenty of space so you're never crowded however I was hoping to be crowded with short. And to be honest I would have been happy to settle for a selection of 5 or 6(shorts) but no, no I was provided with a selection of 2 pairs of shorts in my size and maybe 25 pairs TOTAL, OF ANY SIZE. For comparison I would estimate their pantaloon quantity to be around 3-400 pairs. This was a mega bummer considering something happened to my shorts and I already said it wasn't important so just grow up already

I went to the Goodwill location out at the mall. They had a rattan couch for sale. The actual frame and structure was in good shape but the cushions were definitely worn and I was so excited because I thought that would be something I could put in my gazebo. When I looked at the price it was $360. I know that rattan furniture can sell for a lot of money but this is Goodwill and it was given to them for free and the object is also to move product which their store room is full of product. Needless to say they can keep their return furniture. So disappointed! I could go buy something brand new at Menards for that price.

It's Goodwill. It is big. Well stocked. Wednesday is Senior Discount day. Daily discounts based on color of tag. Real bargains. Look closely. Some clothes donations seem to be new, likely left overs from retailers last season. Always accepting clothing, toys, household goods, appliances and furniture. Lots of books, tapes, CDs and DVDs. You may not find what you need, but you will find something you want.

Goodwill is a great place to start your shopping. Anything you buy here will save fossil fuels (and your $) compared to buying new items.This particular store is comparable to the one on the west side. Both are well maintained, busy places to shop. Lots of new inventory every week.

2022-10-21: I tried to drop off two window air conditioners at Goodwill on S College Mall Rd this evening at about 7pm. Unfortunately, they do not take window air conditioners. The representative suggested that I could take them to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.2022-11-04: I love donating household items to Goodwill, but I gotta try to remember not to shop for more junk right afterwards!

Gotta love goodwill. This is my local store. The merchandise here is typically pretty nice. Filled with a menagerie of upper middle class items as well as college student swag. Inventory changes daily. Friendly employees and always manned by a squad of super cute and friendly females. For best results visit daily.

Very large good will. Volunteered here for awhile and staff is pretty decent especially compared to other good will stores I have been to.First Saturday of every month is 50% off everything. Very busy but you can get some great deals.

They have the best selection of secondhand merchandise in town, but they always follow me and act like I'm shoplifting. Once they even stopped me at the door to ask if I'd paid for everything. I was wearing my work uniform and clearly just there to try on shoes, of which I bought 2 pairs. I didn't even have a purse with me, so I don't know why on Earth they stopped me, but I was not happy about it. Weird vibes and lots of anxiety shopping there.

Worst customer service. I bought a bag that smells awful. Tried to return it, they asked me to provide the receipt, which is fair. But, I lost it and this purchase was done through my loyalty account, i.e. they could easily check this purchase.

When i went to Goodwill I had bought three alarm clocks and a night light along with a black box for jewelry I also got a cutting board a bed computer table and a chore list chart foosball table. but I realized that one of my bags must have been missing and when I went back they said they put everything in the two bags I already had. She basically told me I was lying and I was not going to get my money back or my item. So I just got to robbed Goodwill! Classy.

Donate often. Dropped off a bunch of stuff tonight and accidently threw a curtain panel in the bin that I didn't mean to. Literally called within 10 minutes from drop off (nothing else was in the bin mind you, an hour before closing). They couldn't find it and that's fine but the girl who I spoke to was incredibly rude and acted like I was ridiculous for asking them to look for something I didn't mean to put in the bag. I won't donate here anymore. Other places are much more kind.
