The prices are bad, even for Goodwill. I used to come here every week to buy books for my kids' library. They used to all be 99 cents. Now, even damaged old paperbacks are sometimes as much as $4.99. These prices make no sense, and it isn't like this at the other store across town. I'll probably just stop shopping here as it simply isn't worth the gas.

This goodwill is decent as far as the merchandise, however, they don’t have a dressing room, so you can’t try on clothes. To combat this, employees will say, “no we don’t have dressing rooms, however you have up to 14 days to return items that don’t work for you”. Only, it’s not a return, it’s an exchange! You receive a gift card, not your money back. How can I know if I want to purchase a clothing item if I can’t try it on, and if it doesn’t work for me, I can’t even get my money back? It would’ve been great to know this before I made my purchase. I’m not sure if I’m coming back to this location.

Prices are high and the selection is poor. Like a lot of area Goodwills, after the pandemic, they decided to raise prices. I used to leave with a cart of items upon nearly each visit, but now it's often empty.

Been tired of goodwill for a while, prices are insane now. How are you going to ask $5 for an empty burnt candle jar that RETAILED $3.99 NEW. And why can't you haggle at goodwill? You get donations for free. Sure they claim to donate to charities but those are tax right offs and we should all be aware of that. They also say they have to stay by the set prices but what crackhead have they been letting pick the prices. They put the tags next to the original so you know you're getting screwed

I literally just walked out of this store. I made my purchase of two items. I also had taken an article of clothing to the register that I had seen on the rack for $7.99 that had a huge black stain on it plus multiple bleach stains all over it. I would definitely not buy this item nor would I want anybody else to or did I think anybody would. So I showed it to the young girl at the register who showed absolutely no interest. She completely ignored me and did not answer me. When I said, “are you going to sell it like this?”, she continued to ring up my items and give me my total and was completely rude throughout the whole process. I was asking an honest question. You get items for free. It would be so much easier just to get rid of the items that are trash instead of putting them out. You didn’t have to be rude and it could’ve been handled a whole lot better. We want items for cheap. Not cheap looking items.

This location has the best selection in town, amongst all Goodwills in Bloomington. Electronics (some real gems), kitchen appliances, dishes, picture frames, furniture, clothes (great PLUS SIZE selections too), etc. They even get special shipments from the Goodwill website. A couple months ago they got an entire end-cap full of Anheuser-Busch, limited edition, collector mugs (picture attached)!

The gentleman that came out to assist folks with donations was angry and rude with everyone dropping off stuff. I understand everyone has bad days, but no need to take it out on customers that are being nice, trying to make small talk, and not expecting you to help unload items. I’d recommend a supervisor or manager pay more attention to the attitudes of people interacting with others.

They have removed the fitting rooms, won't allow you to try things on in the restrooms, and have removed all mirrors except the one in the very middle of the main aisle. They clearly do not want you to try things on before you buy, which is delusional for a thrift store, especially since their return policy only allows returns for store credit. I am deeply disappointed in both of the Bloomington Goodwills for using this extremely predatory strategy to try and get people to buy things they don't even fit.

So disappointed. Used to shop at Goodwill all the time. I go there today in desperate need of blue jeans. I was a bit dismayed at how much the prices have gone up but kept shopping. Had a few pairs of pants to try on and look around. No dressing rooms ? I ask an employee and indeed they no longer have dressing rooms. I buy one pair of jeans anyway and head to check out. I remind them that I receive the 10% military discount and they inform me they no longer offer that anymore. Overall a very disappointing experience and I'll start going up the road to style encore for all my clothes now.

The store is very clean and organized there are plenty of staff to help you if you need help I feel like the pricing is reasonable and I find really good stuff there. They do accept debit cards checks cash they are wheelchair accessible and there is very many parking spots

They have removed the dressing rooms., fair enough I guess. The problem is if you buy something and need to return it you get a gift card that can only be spent there. Goodwill was usually my first stop when looking for anything. Now I wont bother going anymore. I respected their mission and donated to them frequently. Since they are no longer respecting their customers I will not bother supporting them anymore and go to one of the other thrift 5 stores in our area. Pretty sad really

The west side Goodwill Store is a great place for women's clothes! It may not have the volume of clothes as the east side store, but there are far fewer shoppers. However, this is not the place for guys clothes - go to the big store on the east side. Pricing has changed and so has their reward system so, it ends up costing more than before, but it's still a fraction of the price of a regular department store! 3 tops and one pair of jeans I bought had tags on them from the stores! It's like treasure hunting! Love it!

I have shopped at Goodwill's since I was a kid in the early 80s, one of the things that hurts the most is they've gotten rid of their discounts on clothing for the color of the week. I love how they support the community and do good for people that need a chance and a job. The two Goodwills in Bloomington Indiana have been some of the best I found in this region of the state. I used to make a weekend trip traveling the roads going from Goodwill to Goodwill because you never know what kind of treasure you can find.

The prices are a tad high on some stuff like electronics (speakers to be specific) and they make you pay for both items in a pair individually (speakers, skillets and lids, etc...), but i have found some really good stuff there.The store is spaced out enough to not feel cramped and is handicap accessible.Some days you find some really good deals then other days you find some stuff not worth the space it takes on the shelves.

Well it's only the best store in every town across America. Prices have gone up quite a bit recently. Some things.lriced almost like it were new. Those great bargains of yesterday are gone. Still love to shop till I drop at GWI.

This is a good one, it's been a while since I came here. But was nice, I like looking at all the books. Was able to find some good music and play your own adventure books too. Was nice. Worth it to go and get them.

Okay so realistically I'm being an objectionable with this one giving it a three simply due to the fact that it doesn't really have a lot of things that I go to look for the video games the kids toys the books the movies that my kids like and basically the electronics that I like to fiddle with. However if you're looking for a good supply of nice well maintained taken care of clothing this store would definitely be worth the five. But since that's not what I go for I guess I'm being picky overall clean store polite staff well stock shelves work to visit if you're in the area.

I used to love shopping at goodwill but it's getting a little ridiculous. Definitely a for profit store that has hiked prices up so high that I would rather just go buy it new. Some of the stuff is priced higher than the original price!! And tryin to do a return just about isn't worth it. And even with receipt, there's no refund. Period. Store credit is all you're gonna get. Back to that for profit thing....

Used to absolutely love the Goodwill and the name brands you could find at affordable prices but anymore they have prices so jacked up you might as well go buy new. They also took away the 50% off color of the week. Very disappointed in this alleged non for profit organization.

I went here to try to find some shorts. I found 5 or 6 pairs but wasnt too sure about several of them fitting me so I wanted to try them on. I was told The fitting rooms are no longer able to be used so I asked if I could try them on over the shorts I already had on and i was told no and that I could return them if I needed to. After I purchased them I tried them on in the park lot & 2 pairs did not fit so I took them back in to get my money credited back onto my debit card only to be told they could only give me a gift card in exchange. I wasn't too happy to say the least, bc I don't want something anyway if I can't even try it on to see if I want it for sure! I mean who would??!

Ok always find unique things at good will love going to both places here in Bloomington some times I think they're prices are a bit high for some items, by the way how do the price items is it just the matter of you is on duty at the time the item comes in.
