Staff very friendly and helpful. Plentiful items in stock. Shop at S. Walnut store weekly,will continue to do so. I've even had a very nice employee help me with a heavy item. I am disabled and I never get so much courtesy as this store. Much appreciated 👍

Staff is always friendly and greets me when I enter. I shop here for convenience despite my discount as an employee of a major competitor with cheaper prices and more options because it's closer to my home and I enjoy a simpler shopping experience. Lines are never long and almost everything I need is always available. Store is clean and well stocked. Parking is easy. Im in and out in 15 min or less. 5 stars all around great place to shop!

I had to go to the South Store. It is the cleanest one in Bloomington. Everything is on its place and prices are marked correctly. The customer service is amazing!!! Great place to get in and out while being treated as a guest, not just a customer.

It's a decent place to shop for small things like soups and snacks. They carry thinks like socks and what not and I also get my detergent from here to. Not many people in the store when I've been there either which is nice, especially during these times.

Pretty clean and well run for a dollar general. Love that they have a refrigerated section, saves having to go too far if I just need something small or just one thing that I'd usually get at the grocery store. Good sales and coupons make shopping here actually a really good deal.

This store was messy, crowded, and the selection was pathetic. Dollar General needs to quit being so greedy and start providing their managers with additional payroll hours so business can be conducted in a typical manner. I feel tremendously sorry for the 3 man crew having to deal with this ridiculousness. Needless to say, DG should be ashamed of themselves. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the sales associates were kind and helpful.

There is not enough staff to keep up with the store. It's incredibly unorganized and not well stocked. The staff are exhausted and have trouble caring because the management seems 2 lack help as well. I'm under the impression they rotate people through the store frequently and nobody is there long enough to straighten it out.

A great dollar general store. Nice and helpful staff. Wide selection of items that are far cheaper than competition. Store is a bit dirty and dreary but honestly that seems to be all dollar general. The franchise has a bad color scheme but thats not the individual store's fault. This location attracts a lot of shady shoppers which makes for a cautious later at night shopping experience but ive never had a problem there.

They almost always seem to have things sitting everywhere. They aren't stocked very well, and they don't get things back in stock very fast at all. The employees are usually very nice though and really the reason I go back there.

Terry, if she is still the wonderful manager of Bloomfield Dollar general. Gave my oldest Samson $5 while we were shopping after his surgery. My Grandma Judy worked there for years and years. Retail isn't fun, it's not easy, especially if one is doing stock. Keep up the good work guys.

I'm done with Dollar General. Some of the employees are nice, but there's such a small amount that is. Plus literally none of their digital coupons ever work. I use digital coupons at Kroger all the time with no issues, so I'm pretty sure it's not something I'm doing wrong. Even if you bring it to their attention, they don't do anything to make it right. I'll drive the extra .5 miles to go to Kroger where they actually take care of their regular customers.

This place constantly keeps going down hill. The store is usually a mess. The outside is nasty with garbage littering the sidewalk. The staff is usually new and disinterested. The lingering people that hang outside asking for cigarettes or change is bewildering and annoying after a while.

The Dollar General on 45 in Greene County has given the area better choices for shopping. The location is so convenient and most employees are helpful and friendly. I wish they had a larger selection of frozen and refrigerated foods.

I have went to this dollar general multiple times now and it's a mess. Items all over the floor nothing is where it should be. It is very unorganized and just a nasty mess. Who ever is managing this store should really figure something out to fix this place up or get a new job.

I shop all over the state and this is the dirtiest store of all by far!!! Isles so cluttered, you can hardly walk through. And don't even think about taking a cart. You guys need to step up your game.

I've been to Dollar General locations in over 25 States and this is by far the worst I've ever been to it feels like I'm in Soviet Russia because the shelves are more than half bear and had been for over four months. Both name brand and Dollar General brand products are Baron from the Shelf. If you want what you would normally get at Dollar General you have to go to the store on the other side of town or go to one in a different town 15 to 20 miles away.I went to this store for the last time I will ever go to it yesterday. Apparently Dollar General does not care about this particular store on South Walnut Street in Bloomington Indiana
