This is the closest DG to my house and it’s the most ungodly mess you have ever seen! I understand being short staffed… however I stopped for one thing and I couldn’t even get to it because they have the isles filled with carts that have product in boxes. I asked the associate working if he could move one of them (they are extremely heavy) and he gave me extreme attitude and stated “he was busy”. I ended up putting my basket down and leaving. If I can’t even get to what I came in for then what’s the point? I will shop at other DG’s who actually have employees who care. It’s also a huge liability because if one of those carts that are stacked way to high falls on someone they will have a lawsuit at hand. Ridiculous honestly.

Friendly and carries a lot of name brands I like. Need to have a better toy stock and more small size adult cloths and 7-8 in children is also hard to get. Could use more staff As sometimes their a little backed up. Watch for double scanning at check out.

Great customer service and awesome remodeling inside the place!! Especially enjoyed the nice ladies behind the counter. They helped explain how to access their new self check out service(requires download of app). All around awesome experience today plus today is free tote bag day for first 200 customers over 18 years old!!

Employees are great!! However, they need more cashiers. Don't see the point of having 3 registers and only one person checking customers out. Sometimes you stand in line for more than 10 minutes. This place would get 5 stars all day, but the wait is horrible. Cmon man!!

Big fan. Remember a time before Wally World killed all of our downtowns? When going to the store didn't mean Submitting To The Borg? The employees seem generally happy too, and don't seem likely to be on a timer when they have to pee.

Just an average trip in Dollar store. Was actually better organized than had been past couple times I've been there. They were redoing layout of store in their defense before. But found what I wanted, quickly checked out. No complaints

Lastl Saturday june 15 i was in your store with about 15 other people waiting in line as the tornado siren began to go off. The cashier had told all of us we would need to go into the bathrooms if we heard a tornado was on the ground. She barely got the words out when the power went out and she said "i cant have anyone in here with the power out and made everyone leave the building. It is unbelievable to me that your store policy is to throw your customers out in a tornado. Which is what your store did as just a few miles away a tornado hit our town and several other surrounding areas. You know there is a family dollar down the street i think i will be giving them my business from now on!!!!!!

Terrible customer service today. I work near this store in Ellettsville and I have shopped it many times for lack of other options. Merchandise is what you would expect; low price, low quality. I have never had an experience like this morning. I stopped in to grab something to wear quickly because I spilled my coffee on my outfit and needed to be at work in 5 minutes. There was a sign clearly posted in the women's apparel that stated "$5 Gray Dot Women's Sleep Pants." I selected a pair of soft leggings hung under that sign with a grey dot. No brainer.Of course, when I went to check out the item, it rang up as $10. I asked the cashier if I could have it for the price marked, to which she argued that it wasn't considered sleep pants. I walked over to the sign and pointed out where I had grabbed it, and she said that I should read the sign "better" because it says sleep pants. The item is arguably sleepware, it has a GREY DOT hanging UNDER the damn sign. She argued that the items are not organized by type, and I should know the difference. I said that the tag has a grey dot and I should get the item for the price it advertises. She even went so far as to ask me if I intended to wear them to sleep, as if that has any bearing on the matter. I could intend to wear them on my damn head, and that shouldn't affect the price the item is being sold for. She was very rude and refused to honor the sign or the price as marked. I asked for a manager, and she claimed she was it, and because I was so short on time, I went ahead and purchased the cheap pants at $10! I work in customer service, and on a reasonable misunderstanding, the store and the manager has an obligation to either make their merchandising clear so there is no possible way to confuse the matter, or honor the price. I most certainly would say that the damage done to the store by refusing my reasonable request will likely result in no further purchases from me to that store, as well as a call to corporate to complain and blast on social media. I also intend to call the store to get her name.

Dollar general in Ellettsville is so dirty and unorganized. The only reason I go there is convenance but still end up waiting in like for 10 mins no matter how many ppl are in the line in front of me. I wish some someone from the regional office would come see it and tell them to do a better job or give them the funds to higher more staff.

Long line on checkout with only 1 register open, eventually 2nd opens 10 minutes later. Dirty floors, generally unkept. Good store just surprised this time.

Went to meet a face book market place add for a tiffany lamp. I don't think it's real tiffany,but the gentleman said it belonged to wife's grandmother!!!. I bought it, it's pretty has grapes on shade.

Large carts full of products are always in the isles, usually blocking the items. One or two workers actually care about the customers, while the others seem to do anything but help check people out.

Lots of low prices. Nice people and low price on popcorn, lots of dog treats. GOOD DEALS AND MANY PRODUCTS Are Brand Names
