Staff in shoe department are attentive and constantly checked in to see if we needed a different size etc. Nice kiosk system lets customers check stock, sizes and other color options before requesting shoes to try on. Surprised staff does not get commission or some sort of credit for helping customers as clearly some rockstars really go out of their way to offer great service and should be recognized.

Please keep the fishing section stocked. It always starts off great in the spring, with great variety, but then it turns into an understocked dilapidated mess by June. You are located next to the largest lake within Indiana after all. Here's a pic for reference. So much for buying the line I wanted today.

Service was satisfactory out on the floor, but true hospitality was found in the checkout line! What an inviting and patient associate this store has in a young lady named Jenna! She helped us set up our rewards account and extended warmth in her smile... even with her line of waiting customers growing!!! She had a novel idea--- smiling! Everyone here needs to try it. Kudos to whoever hired Jenna... you made a great choice!

I picked up a lightweight camping pad and pillow. I also scoped out some Keens to make sure I got the right fit when I ordered a pair from Dick's online.I went to Dick's on purpose to show my support for their CEO's recent stance on the sale of firearms. Way to put people before sales. I'll keep coming back.

Their computer system was down, but Alia was super helpful and made sure I had the number to customer service to add my purchase to my account.Thanks to Alia, I was able to still add my purchase and the customer service lady gave me extra points for my trouble.Another employee at the store helped me find the item I was looking for and was super helpful! Happy to have multiple folks to help me out!

We go here often for sports needs. The gentlemen that helped us with bats this weekend was very knowledgeable and very friendly (3/6/21 about 1:30pm). I would say 9 out of 10 times the employees are very friendly and helpful. Downside of our visit was the lack of black ball pants especially sizes for Girls or XS women's. We did end up going and buying one item from a different store at half the price. A little pricing, but we understand you are paying for the name. (The bat I was expecting to pay the price for it as it comes with a manufacturers warranty and you can purchase the extended warranty. Some of the not sport related clothing items I was in aww of)

I bought a kayak and paddle last week, and was back at the store today to try to complete a deal that I was unable to complete when I was in the store last week. I worked with Danny and Nathaniel and they were fantastic - they both went above and beyond to help me, and I really appreciate it. Love the kayak, too! I'll definitely be back.

DO NOT LET RICHARD BUILD OR WORK ON YOUR BICYCLE. I bought a GT aggressor online and had it shipped to this location to be assembled. Although I had read it’s not always the best idea to have your bike assembled there but seeing as to how it was free I went for it. I have had nothing but trouble since then. My derailer mount has broken twice now and when I go to have it fixed Richard accused me of messing the bike up on purpose. WHAT?! I’ve owned the bike for 2 months and have had nothing but trouble. After taking it to a real bike shop they informed me the derailer was out of alignment and not assemble correctly and that has been the root of all my problems. Avoid the bicycle section of this store at all costs!!I must say the manager that I talked to was very courteous and was great with customer service.

I went to buy ammo today and there was no one behind the counter. I used the "call for help" button 3 times, no one showed up. I finally found an employee in the clothing department and asked him if he could call someone to have them assist me. He did. I walked back to the counter and waited again. No one showed up. I used the call button one more time. I never was helped. I'll spend my money elsewhere now.

The store has a good stock and prices are reasonable. However, service is highly inconsistent. I have gone to this store and left without finding anyone willing to help me find a pair of shoes. If you know exactly what you want and it is on display, then you will be fine.

Their protection plans are a scam. If you like frustration that costs you money, buy the bike protection! It is worthless, but you do get to spend hours learning just how worthless.Speaking of bikes, they sell something they call a mountain bike. It is a sidewalk bike at best. Not well built. Do not take on an unpaved trail! Brackets, derailers and rims will bend and break. I didn't expect high-end durability but my sons and I didn't expect fragile.

Camping, guns, archery, football ,fishing and kayaking.They also have a very large selection of all types of amo.A very large selection of cloths and outfits,Coats and foot ware, It's a one stop shop.Draw back is it's high end price, but haveSeen some very good sales here...

Went in to pick up a few things for my daughter to start soccer. I don't know jack poopy about soccer in general. The help was very nice to me as I sat in the floor trying different shin guards on my daughter. There was a lady that had a hard time getting help in shoes but once she got help the guy was very attentive.

They carry a wide selection of sporting equipment, making it easy to get started or continue on your sports adventures. You will probably find cheaper prices anywhere else, but you may not find the variety of stock they have here. Simply put, Dick's is adequately providing almost any sporting needs.

Never particularly great customer service...the sales associates seem young and disinterested in their jobs. Still, I was very pleased that I was able to return my item without my receipt, only using the card I purchased it on.

My problem was not with the employees, but the store in general! They send out coupons for items to get you into the store, but never intend on having the item or even getting the item before the coupon expires. They should at least be courteous enough to put "while supplies last" on the coupons.The employee was very apologetic, but this really left a bad taste again in my mouth for this store. Guess I'll stick with Dunham's in Bedford for my sporting goods!

One of the biggest selections in Bloomington, but overall it's not that great. The variety is lacking and prices are usually high. If you need something in a pinch they may have it here, but for the most part it's a good place to try something on to get your size, then go buy it online for much less cost.

A nice product selection but so hard to find a clerk to help, and they're silly constraints on the guns that they will carry in stock or even sell... Walmart or Rural King might be a better choice for gun and accessory shopping

I wish they would figure out their alarms that keep going off randomly. It will go off multiple times in one night, multiple times a week, sometimes until 4 A.M. For a while, the alarms didn't go off but has recently started happening again. It is super disruptive to those that live near them and nothing is being done about it. Wish they would fix it ASAP.

Went there yesterday for shopping for a new bike and golf clubs, my daughter noticed a red toolbox by the bikes and started looking at it, then some weird acting employee there in a purple shirt accosted my daughter in a foul manner, he pushed himself between my daugher and the toolbox, he slammed the drawers shut on the toolbox, and said something about not messing with it or doing something with the bikes. It really irked us both the way he was so callous and interfered with my daughter and I looking at the merchandise. It was like he thought they were all his and didnt want anyone touching them or buying them. I tried to ask him his name but he walked away and ignored me. I tryed to look to read his name on his shirt tag, he kept walking away from me and avoiding me. I reported his actions to another employee in the golf section who knew who he was after I described him. And no I wont be going back there to buy anything at all.
