CVS is seriously the worst run pharmacy! It would be nice to be able to simply go pick up a prescription, just once. No, every time I have been there, it’s been an ordeal. The staff just make excuses and place blame elsewhere. Today’s situation culminated in getting the pharmacy window shut in my face because I wanted to talk to the manager about my mom’s prescription that STILL hadn’t been filled from the day before. So rude and unprofessional.

If I could give them a zero I would. I just sat in line for 20 min for my husband's ER script and they closed the gate right in front of me and refused to help me. I get staff shortages but the least that could have been done is helping someone who was there way before the early closing time. Now my husband has to go another day without medicine he needs. This is just ridiculous. If our insurance didn't require us to go to them we would for sure be moving our scripts and never giving our business to this company ever again.

Staff and pharmacy team are all generally friendly and the store itself is clean and well-stocked overall. I prefer this CVS over the other six we’ve got in the vicinity due to those factors, especially as well as their convenient location, larger size (than some of the others), and 24/7 hours.

The meds my doctor called in for me yesterday because of a ruptured disc in my neck that is putting severe pressure on my spinal cord are still not filled and I was told that they won't be ready any time soon because the pharmacist was to busy doing vaccines to fill the prescription and was asked to try and get it sent somewhere else on a Saturday lol doctors office is closed so now I get to wait in pain until they finally decide to fill prescription good luck to us all.

Even with set vaccine appointment, over 20 minutes late. People piled up waiting from 45 minutes before. One person giving shots and slower than slow motion. No apologies. Terrible. Go somewhere else.

After multiple issues with this particular pharmacy, I will no longer subject myself to rudeness and lack of efficiency. It takes 3 days to fill a prescription that they have in stock. I was out of my medication and was told they would expedite it, but that I could pick it up the next day after already waiting for two days. I was told they have been busy, but its the same answer I get every time that I use this particular CVS in my hometown. When I informed them that I was out, I was rudely informed that I could always transfer it to another pharmacy and that is what I did.

More than once, I have had problems trying to refill active prescriptions at the CVS in Ellettsville, IN. Staff is okay but only looks at what’s in front of them in the screen most likely, not scrolling down. For example, I have a prescription that I needed refilled today which my neurologist sent to CVS back in October 2021, four months ago. I called this CVS today to get it refilled and they said they didn’t have anything on file. I told them it’s been there since October and they said they didn’t have it. I went back to the app and it was there, but the app wouldn’t let me refill it. I had to call back and give the the prescription number and it worked, so it was on file with them. I wasted my time calling my neurologist today and theirs to double check if it had been sent, which it had, four months ago along with making multiple calls to the CVS bot and staff to try to get it resolved.

Switched to Kroger Pharmacy...it's the most amazing thing...when my doctor calls in a prescription to Kroger, they actually have it in stock AND fill it that day. CVS...not so much.

While I cannot speak to the quality of the pharmacy, the Minute Clinic here is absolutely terrific. Sam the nurse practitioner is so kind and helpful. With her help, I was back to feeling good within a few days. Definitely recommend!

This is the worst CVS ever ... STILL. I went in to get a flu shot today - waited at the pharmacy counter at least 3 minutes before someone came to the check in station - and he said did you need something. Why else would I be standing there if I didn't need something. I was told that I could only get a flu shot by appointment only and they didn't have any appointments available - and there were none available until after 5 p.m. - some 7 hours after I was there. Mind you - there was no one currently getting vaccinations. I had to go on the east side and checked on the CVS app and I could get my flu shot immediately, when I went to the check-in desk I was helped immediately. Ellettsville is my closest store but their service just stinks - I will go to the east side from now on. I have stopped going to the Ellettsville store for prescription refills - I now have them mail them to me because the service is so poor- takes forever to get a refill. Unfortunately they are the only pharmacy in Ellettsville ... what a waste!

REPEATEDLY filled my scripts wrong, after hounding me every day to pick up my refill I had just refilled (while I had Covid, which they diagnosed). Had I taken the dose they sold me, it would have been bad. No matter what I did to the online system to remove old scripts, they could not get it right. When I asked a question about the corrected fill, I was blown off with 'its whatever the doctor prescribed' ... Like they hadn't just given me the something that wasn't prescribed. Moving scripts elsewhere before they kill me.

The pharmacist determined that my prescription did not need to be filled, as there was an opportunity to buy a lower dosage of the medication over the counter. I am unsure if this pharmacist is looking generate additional revenue out of my pocket or is simply too incompetent to follow through with the evaluations others have already completed. Regardless, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy in town and in the surrounding area. They are completely incompetent. I’ve never once had my prescriptions filled when I have been promised they will be filled. They will try and run things through without insurance. They act like it’s a huge burden when you ask them to fix the mistakes they’ve made. The staff is very rude. I have tried to go there out of convenience in location but after the thousandth mistake I am done and will be switching pharmacies ASAP. Big big changes need to be done to fix this CVS pharmacy especially in regards to the manager. I strongly suggest going literally anywhere else. I’ve never left a bad review before but this place is so bad I feel the need to warn others.

Awful. We use this store by default due to where we live. We come here monthly for routine prescriptions and they can never get it right. Takes them days sometimes to fill medications, the staff is always rude and argumentative. Some of the time they don't even have our medicine in stock even though we get it every month. The reason for this current review is them arguing with me saying I didn't receive a call that our medicine was ready. I still had the voicemail on my phone! We are working on moving all of our medicine to another pharmacy.

Spent all night with a fever, chills, headache, etc... scheduled a Covid 19 test this afternoon. The link CVS provided gives the wrong directions, so I arrived 20 minutes late, but still within the 30 minute window that they give you. Tech that does testing went to lunch so I now have to sit in the parking lot for an hour and a half waiting for her to get back. CVS provides no phone number to call for accurate directions or to let them know you’re running late (because CVS can’t provide accurate directions). I’ve now been on hold for 17 minutes waiting for someone from customer service. This is ridiculous. Update: The store manager was actually very kind and helpful, I have to give him credit for how he handled the Minute Clinic’s chaos.

While visiting the Bloomington Indiana area, I dropped off a prescription around 1 pm on 6/19/2021 and couldn't get back before they closed so on the way home I stopped too get it.They actually lost my prescription, it never got input it into the system. I spent more then 20 minutes in the drive through b4 I had to go inside.They finally found my script and finally got it filled.Very incompetent pharmacy.I will be reporting to corporate office.

Apparently CVS does not care about customers or customer service. Looking at these post it is obvious. I had the supervisor in the pharmacy actually argue with me about the level of service. She told me I could go to Walgreen and then said the closest one one an hour away. This is the most ineptly managed pharmacy in the state,maybe the country. I am going to notify the Attorney general by registered mail and photo's. Hopefully the Attorney General will close this pharmacy for good this time instead of just temperately again. Shame on CVS for letting this happen. Save yourself some time and trouble and take your prescription somewhere else.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Antibiotics called in at 9am. 3:30pm still not ready. When your son has strep and running 105 temp, this is not ok. If I have to take him to the ER because he can’t get his meds I will be sending CVS the bill.

Pharmacy Staff is EXTREMELY rude, honestly the rudest in Bloomington. This will be the last month I get any prescription filled there. 0/10 on their customer service skills & VERY unhelpful. Go anywhere in Bloomington but this place. It is a joke. They do not even deserve 1 star, but I had to in order to post this review.

This CVS has filled my son’s monthly prescription since he was 5, no issues until recently. The last 2 months, I've called to check on it, been told "it'll be about an hour" - then when I arrive, I'm told that they are out of stock, then I'm given a date when it’ll be back in stock, to be told yet again it’s still not in stock and they're not sure when it will be. Why wouldn’t you contact me to let me know this BEFOREHAND instead of making customer's waste their time. This is not acceptable especially being a pharmacy. West 3rd here I come, because each time you’ve all been more than helpful and notified me WAY ahead of time of any issues. Get it together, CVS.

This pharmacy is completely incompetent. Easily the worst pharmacist in the entire state. The manager should be fired, the pharmacy staff should be fired. They say they can have prescriptions filled in a day and are sometimes 2-3 days late.Utter incompetence.

I don’t like cvs pharmacy in ellettsville. They have attitude problems. CVS is to high with prescription. I will keep getting my prescription from Walmart for now on. It’s a big difference from cvs and Walmart from price to staff. Won’t be going back for anything in the store.

Looking for excellent and speedy pharmacy service???Well keep on looking because you won't find it here.Pharmacy staff are slow and unknowledgable with no sense of urgency to assist customers. You'll wait at the drive-thru window for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledges your presence.Expect long lines at all times of the day.

This used to be a really good place, but since it was closed down for drug theft it has gone downhill fast. There are too many issues to list them all. A few issues are you can forget the auto refill. That and letting you know when a script is ready don't exist any more. Not running scripts thru insurance and attempting to charge full price. Also trying to run a script thru that had just been filled so the script that I needed was held up because they said my script wasn't excepted by my insurance, but they didn't tell me what medication was held up so I couldn't get the med I needed thinking insurance wouldn't cover it. When they finally did fill it the wrong amount was filled. This place is a total mess!

If I could give a -0 I would. This is the worst pharmacy ever. Prescriptions are never ready. Staff will never pick up the phone. Need to call three weeks ahead of time to get a prescription filled. Even the manager couldn’t help me get a prescription filled for my dog who has a heart condition.

Called in to the pharmacy to check on a prescription (because the last refill they didn’t have the right sized pill even though this is a recurring order...had to get twice the dose and cut the pill in half...of course that pill doesn’t have any lines to effectively get a half). Regardless, 40 minutes on hold and nobody answered. Looking for another pharmacy, maybe Kroger or Walmart. At least they’ll answer the phone.Lack of basic customer service.

I felt the need to review this particular CVS after continual frustration filling my monthly prescription. They have had my prescription "on hand" or in stock one time out of 7 months. Furthermore, they say, "we can't tell you when we'll have it in, so you just have to call every day to ask." OK?! Secondly, when I asked why they are the only pharmacy that NEVER has enough of this particular prescription on hand, I was told it's because they aren't a "college pharmacy." I'm 32 years old, and I'm not a college kid!!!!
