The food is absolutely amazing!!! The Brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had. The sweet potato was cooked to perfection and didn't need any brown sugar or butter. The fries are thicker cut and battered super tasty. The salmon was cooked nice as well. We had the NY strip steak, and it was cooked as ordered and yummy. The beer selection was large, too. They serve coke products, which is a plus. The vibe of the restaurant is brick and metal like historic and classic.Our waiter was Dennis, and he was amazing, super attentive, and didn't mess up our order or anything. They were super packed on a Saturday. We got there for a 6:30pm reservation, and our table was set and ready for us. They only had 3 waiters for the whole restaurant, which was full of big tables of 6+ people. They notified us at the beginning that they were short staffed and it would take a longer time. We were patient, but I could tell that other tables were getting aggravated. The appetizer of nachos with pulled pork was so delicious and came out in a timely manner. We ended up leaving at 8:30pm but we enjoyed family time. They have Wiki Sticks for you to play with. The bathrooms are clean and easily accessible. They also had the market side with a wall full of homemade cupcakes of really neat flavors!I will definitely be back.

Guess which one was medium rare! (trick question it’s all three)Service was slow, the server brought our food in batches, and then never came back to the table. Would have sent the steak back but the server vanished. Had to bring the card to the front after 30 mins of waiting for the bill.If you want food choose a different place

Amazing experience today at chop shop. Went there for the ribbon cutting and got to try several of the menu items. All of it was delicious. The cupcakes were packed with flavor. My favorite was the wings. Will definitely be back to purchase my meat needs and me eat needs.

Just had dinner here with my mother and grandmother. I am a food snob and so it takes a lot to impress me when I go out. All of our meals were delicious. I had the prime rib sandwich and brussels sprouts which were amazing. We also each had a dessert from the market side which did not disappoint. This is a casual place with great food. Also, to top it off the servers and staff were all very nice and welcoming. If you haven't been here yet give them a try!

Prices were pretty reasonable for what you are served. Ordered a Reuben while my husband ordered a Tenderloin. Although the smoked meat on the Reuben was somewhat tough and chewy, the flavor was incredible. Definately worth a try if you have descent chompers or extra time to kill. My husband mentioned this Tenderloin (which is huge btw) was the best he has had in a long time. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.Side note to Owner/ Management: consider working on your signage. we almost skipped past your restaurant because we didnt know that portion of your business existed.

Beyond fabulous! One of the areas best kept secrets, which we just happened to learn about during a chat with fellow patients waiting for eye surgery! We've been in area for 2 years and never knew this existed. I'm shouting it from the rooftops for everyone to hear, but that said, a bit more traditional advertising is merited. Again, great place...looking forward to going back!

Pretty sad. I hoped that this place would be a winner. It is a loser. Worst service I’ve had for a long time. Fish was not cooked as ordered and the waiter did nothing about it. Baked potato came with nothing. Salad came ten minutes later. Drinks were nonexistent. Instead of correcting my “blackened” fish the genius took 25 percent off of a $32 fish that was ruined. Indiana “blackened “ is disgusting and in no way resembles Cajun blackened preparation and is the reason I ordered it fried. Although the waiter told me “I’ll take care of that”, which to me meant an order I placed would arrive at some point. Instead I was left with a 40 dollar dinner I wouldn’t feed my dog. If my wife had not been there I wouldn’t have paid for it. I felt like I was forced to pay for something I didn’t order. Oh, her cob salad came after my dinner came and several requests. If I ever go back, I ain’t buying!

My husband had the grouper special which he said was second only to Angler's which is a restaurant in Destin Florida. I was craving a tenderloin sandwich which was spot on. Fries were large and spice was on point. Finally took home some key lime cheesecake that left us wanting more. My husband said as long as they have the grouper sandwich special that he would want to come back for another. Emma our waitress was knowledgeable and kind. Everything was 👍 ~ Definitely planning our return trip.

Other nights we've come for their specials (the prime rib is really good) and also shop for meat and bones, tonight was simply a salad bar visit and a gluten-free key lime dessert for us. Our server, Trevor, was super attentive to both us and keeping the salad bar fresh and stocked.

I was looking forward to this visit after reading some reviews but I was not braced for just HOW AWESOME this place really is. If you're a foodie, then you probably already know about this spot, and if you haven't visited... then I don't know what you're waiting for! They are opening an even bigger dining room soon to allow for the throngs of people sure to visit. They'll also be open 7 days a week starting the Sunday after Easter! I'll be stopping by for another delicious lunch & treat soon.

A great spot for lunch! We are discovering new places constantly in town, and we happened to stumble across this place on our drive. The food was delicious, and the service was great! We had the burgers with coleslaw and potato salad. Fantastic lunch specials, check them out.

From start to finish we had an amazing experience with BB's! We met with Ashley to discuss our ideas for a wedding cake and she was incredible! The sampling was so delicious that we chose to have both cake as well as cupcakes. We were guided through the process very clearly and professionally! On the big day our cake exceeded our expectations! It was perfect. It will be tradition on our anniversary to go share a cupcake at their super chill and cozy restaurants! It is become my favorite! We had a great experience this week with a party of 19 for my husband’s birthday. The manager helped us pick out apps beforehand and arranged to have dessert prepared by the bakery. The servers were great, meals were delicious, and restaurant had a nice, warm atmosphere. Thank you!

We’ve eaten here twice now. Once we took home some pulled pork and prepared it at our home for a BBQ, it was perfect and easy to just heat and serve. Today we ate in the restaurant it was also delicious! I got the pulled pork sandwich and my husband got the French toast stacker. Both were so tasty. We also grabbed some baked goods to take home and some deli turkey. Highly recommend!

Beautiful interior, tasty breakfast options - good for takeout too. We really like the desserts. This spot is hidden a little bit off of Walnut St so it doesn't seem like people have found it yet.There's a decent selection of meats (both precooked and raw) in the case, as well as a full service butcher. Adding seafood soon.Tons of open seating even during peak hours, so this is a great alternative if you want to avoid the crowded breakfast spots downtown.

The best meal I had in Bloomington in the 3 months I’ve lived here. I’ve tried all the usual suspects. I had the 12oz rib eye and it was fantastic. Not cheap. But neither are the others who sit at the top of the Btown food pyramid. The place has the charm of an airplane hangar but you can’t have it all and you can’t eat atmosphere. I’ll be back again and again.

I am very disappointed in the management of this company. I have been trying to get my W2 for several weeks, and can barely get through to a manager or anyone that can actually help me out.I live out of state, and cannot walk in to get the W2. It should not be my responsibility to be hounding this business for a tax document they were legally supposed to send out at the end of January.The girl I spoke to on the phone said she could take my number down, but it was unlikely the manager would call me back, and she was right. I have not gotten a call or email back, and nobody has gotten back to me about my W2. She said I was not the first but many others still have not received their W2s, and that things were a ‘giant mess.’Frankly I am not surprised as I was warned by many people about the upper management having a history of screwing employees over. Maybe whoever reads this will send me my W2.

BBs market is such a unique experience in Bloomington! They have delicious cakes and specialty desserts in their bakery! If you’re looking for rich treat I personally like the dark chocholate and raspberry cupcake. You will also find great service with Nick at BBS Chophouse. He is very knowledgeable of their offerings on the menu and bar! Super personable!

Two employees here shared that their manager mangled a cake by cutting it with a pizza cutter, so they threw away some of the mushy messed up pieces. Then there was not enough for the order so the manager got mad, pulled the mushed cake from the trash and served it to customers. I would not eat here if I were you.

It was my husband's family and ours first visit here on Sunday. We reserved a table kinda knowing it would be busy, well we got seated and it took about 30 minutes before we even got acknowledged to get drinks. It wasn't slammed packed either, well we ended up ordering drinks and food all together since we knew what we wanted. When we got our food about half the order for everyone was missing. The guys ordered country fried steak breakfast ended up missing the toast and potatoes they even said the meat was really tough. I ordered French toast with bananas, well no bananas were there. We had to ask for knives 3 times before they finally remembered, then when I wanted a box it took another 30 minutes. Now I understand the world is short staffed but this was ridiculous for a place that wasn't even busy at all. Maybe some retraining or something. It was scary that nothing was right and the fact that we had to ask so many times for something so small.
