We’ve always enjoyed Bloomington paws. We use the veterinarian and their spa for our two pups. It’s always been a good experience. The one and only complaint I have is how long it takes to get in with them. The waitlist is several months long. Which is not helpful when you’re dealing with animals that have health issues. That’s why I gave it a four out of five.

BloomingPaws staff are top notch! They care for my pets with kindness and understanding. They take the time to explain the what and why so I can feel confident in the decisions I make for my pets' care. I never feel pushed into services or products. They're also competitively priced with very reasonable wellness plans to consider. I'd guess the staff enjoy working there because they have great attitudes, and the vibe is usually upbeat and relaxed. BloomingPaws is the only choice for vet services in Bloomington in my opinion.

I'm so impressed with both the clinic and resort & spa. We have an elderly dog, Buster. They have a special group for elderly dogs, "the Golden Oldies" and take care of him like he is their own dog. Due to Buster's advanced age, he recently had some trouble while at overnight boarding. The staff immediately addressed his issues and made sure he was comfortable until we could pick him up.We also recently started taking Buster to the clinic as our vet retired. They have been wonderful. They always follow up on him after he's had a visit.I highly recommend both the clinic and resort & spa.

Went in to inquire about making an 8 day reservation at the spa and the girl in the lobby wouldn’t even speak to me. Why would I give you my money if you can’t even answer some simple questions for me? Service is horrible! I live in the apartments next door and I will tell all my neighbors to never use them!!! I love their veterinary care. I don't like it that they're constantly trying to get me to buy from their pharmacy And their other pet items. I appreciate they're trying to keep the costs down, bu there's a reason that I use online Prescriptions and I don't need to be told about how the price will be higher if I don't use their products.The price of their day care is gone up considerably which is great that they have the demand and can do that, but completely prices me out of getting that service. I think it would be fantastic if someone else made a doggy day care that was more affordable for the rest of us.

We were patients of BloomingPaws for 3 years. Level of care was subpar, but our pet is generally healthy so it worked for us. However, an email was sent out to all active clients regarding the way the staff was being treated by clients. I responded because I had encountered the opposite multiple times (where the staff was unkind to me and my husband) and the feedback was ignored or denied by staff. The letter concluded with the statement that if we didn’t like how they were acting, they would be happy to send pet records to other clinics upon request. I emailed asking for ours to be sent to another clinic and received the reply that “they would send the records when they were able.” I called to follow up and no request was noted in our account. I do not recommend this clinic because of the lack of professionalism and lack of respect for their clients. We are taking our business elsewhere effective immediately.

Still love bloomingpaws! Yesterday I signed my pup up for the swimming pool. When she came out to the car, the person who brought her told me he took her out to the pool himself. He said she had a blast.They are responsive, quick, friendly, and I really like the no entrance policy.

obviously OVERCROWDEDPlease actually do some activities with the animals you are being paid well to take care of!We live on Kennedy Drive and those poor puppies of all sizes can be heard barking all day long! It’s like we’re not allowed to have our windows open in fair weather?In all seasons and weather, we hear these animals continuously barking, followed by a woman’s voice “trainer” outside and yelling: “OKAY STOP IT!”(Like every hour). Obviously it does no good. This has increased in the past 3.5 years we’ve lived at this address.Maybe when the new apartments are up and you receive complaints from about 300 residents something will change or you’ll relocate.Good Lord! Spend some quality time with your canines.Extremely annoying.I bet those poor doggies have no other way of communicating their trauma and discomforts.Furthermore I’m surprised you don’t have a lower rating after reading all the truthful negative reviews.Kennel Cough? Ya think! No wonder.

We have been clients of BloomingPaws and its predecessor, Canine Companion, from the time the doors opened. Over the years, we have had all of our dogs treated by their veterinarians and boarded during vacations. On only one occasion was there a mistake made; it involved overfeeding, but they made it good by replacing the provided food with their own purchase of the same brand without cost to us. The doctors and vet techs have been amazing, as well as the resort staff. We would recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for their animals.

I just picked up my cat, Byron, again from BloomingPaws. As a graduating IU student, I could not recommend their services, specifically boarding, which I have utilized during my time in Bloomington. Every staff member I have talked with over the phone has been friendly, responsive, and professional. I have never hesitated bringing Byron back because of how I interact with their staff, and their utmost gentleness with Byron. I could not recommend this place enough; thank you!

I feel completely at ease leaving my cat in the Bloomingpaws boarding staff’s hands. The Cat Apartments are great but I really love the Luxury Cat Tower option and think it’s very worth the price. I’ve trusted them with my sweet (kinda codependent) cat 3 times now and every time I pick her up she’s very happy and healthy. She also adjusts very quickly to being back home, and she’s a very particular cat lol. Clearly they treat her very well. It’s also a huge plus that it’s also a vet clinic. I get nervous about leaving my cat behind but I feel so much better knowing she’s in good hands should anything happen. I’ve just had nothing but great experiences with the staff here and can’t recommend it enough :)

My dog had a vet appointment last week and the transitions were non-stressful for him, which was great. The staff were friendly and responsive, and communication was awesome. Scout was in good hands and I felt that he was well taken care of and cared for. It was also timely and we didn't have to wait long. Great visit.

I’ve had a great experience working with BloomingPaws. They were very responsive to my initial needs which were to get my cat’s vaccines updated and get him a yearly exam. They made me an appointment within a very small timeframe with no issues at all. The veterinarians and vet techs are all very friendly toward me and my cat. They keep him calm and make the experience less scary for him. I also feel that all their prices are very reasonable, and less than I expected for a full service vet clinic. They always call to confirm appointments, so they are both reliable and dependable in that area. All staff is also very professional and personable. Their response and precautions taken due to Covid-19 have also been through and effective. I would highly recommend BloomingPaws to anyone looking for veterinary services in the area.

We love to bring our German Shepherd here, Bosco, and our small boy, Brody. Bosco was born with a heart condition so he gets anxious and overstimulated easily, but the staff does amazing to ensure he remains happy and safe. It was challenging to find a boarding company to accept Bosco because of his heart condition and his inability to be around other dogs. When we found BloomingPaws, they happily allowed him to stay. Our small boy Brody loves to come to daycare and play with the small group dogs. We commend this company for being able to work with so many different breeds comfortably.

I have been using BloomingPaws since 2016. They have seen two of my dogs through Cancer, ACL repair, and general wellness and daycare. They've also worked with vets as far away as Purdue to make sure that our insurance worked. Resort or Vet side - they are both great.

We have taken our dog to BloomingPaws for the resort a few times in the past year and have had great experiences each time. Yesterday, our main vet (not BloomingPaws) was unable to see our dog same-day and was rather nonchalant and lacked compassion. Our dog had been vomiting and having severe diarrhea for two days. She wasn't eating or drinking and was incredibly lethargic. I decided to call BloomingPaws and see if there was any way they could see our dog since she had never been there before. They were super friendly and accommodating and got us an appointment for just two hours later. They contacted our vet and got her records right away so we would not have to deal with that. When we arrived, they took us straight back to a room and we were assisted very promptly. Dr. Dickinson was incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly, as was other veterinary staff. She took time to explain what was wrong, how she may have gotten sick, what we could do to help her, and even gave us many ideas on healthier foods for her upon our request.I could tell that she genuinely cares about the animals she sees and treats them as if they were her own pets. I did not feel at all like she was rushed to get on to her next patient, as she took a lot of her time to explain to us what was going on and how to help our girl. My husband and I decided we will be travelling 30 minutes across town just to come to BloomingPaws from now on based on the quality care we received yesterday. Thank you, BloomingPaws and Dr. Dickinson!Edited to add that they just called to check in on my girl and hoped she was doing better. That is customer service!

Our rescue dog is timid and really dislikes vet and groomer visits. At the mere sight of the door she shakes and is generally the saddest thing you’ve seen that day. We tried to avoid the groomer trauma trigger event as long as possible but we finally broke this winter when the awkward home spa day was no longer possible. Blooming Paws was simply the best! The staff are friendly, understanding, and super thorough. They give stressed pups breaks and take their time. The grooming work looks amazing and you can tell the staff pays attention to detail. I rarely offer reviews but felt compelled to shout their praises :)

I boarded my dog here for 4 days and when we picked him up he was extremely sick with kennel cough. He ended up losing 12% of his body weight in the 4 days we had him there. They wanted to charge me over $100 for an exam and medication after I dropped off a healthy dog and got a sick one back. If you are looking for a place to board your dog, look some where else.I had seen mixed reviews before deciding to take the chance and I wish I hadn't. This business does not care about the well being of your pups. My dog was up to date on all vaccinations and never had a health problem before being boarded here. I have to wonder what their cleanliness standards are.
