This was the perfect getaway for a family of 4. We fit comfortably, better than a standard hotel room. Fun experience to stay in a tiny house! Literally a 2 minute ride to Turkey Run State park.

Look small on the outside but big on the inside. Rustic looking inside. Our cabin had a loft for kids to sleep in and it was pet friendly. Futons can fold into a bed, large king size bed in separate room. Linens and towels are provided. Friendly people.

This is our last night here, stay has been great! Awesome cabins so close to Turkey Run and all of the kayaking/canoeing places. Visited the store today, super nice people and ice cream was wonderful. Really really nice place to stay in this area.

Thank you ALL so much! We had a awesome time staying in your cabin!! Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in gobbler 2 recommended when I made reservations! Very clean! Neatly decorated! Room temperature cool and comfortable 👍!! We had a family of 4 and our dog Axle fit perfectly! Cute shop with many different candy and ice cream of many flavors!! I will definitely be back soon to rent all 3 with a group! Very close to Turkey Run and Sugar Valley canoeing! We all had a good experience! Thanks again!!

Love love love can’t wait to visit again. We enjoyed spending the weekend in the very uniquely decorated cabin, complete with coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge air conditioning and fun shower. It was close to Turkey Run State Park where some of the family walked trails. A fire pit and charcoal grill was available for our use. We enjoyed ice cream from Gobblers Knob, where the service was wonderful. A wonderful place to spend time with family!!

Our family visits Parke County several times a year and these adorable cabins are our favorite place to stay. From the quiet rural setting close to Turkey Run State Park to the all the amenities offered, this establishment really strives to provide you with a perfect stay in heart of covered bridge country. The cabins are obviously well maintained and the staff is comprised of some of the friendliest folks you could hope to find. I would definitely rate this place as the best accommodations in the area!

We just spent four wonderful relaxing nights here. Would recommend to anyone. Clean cute and surprisingly roomy. Had a wonderful trip!! My son loved the loft. ..it was like half the cabin of his own personal space.

Can't compliment enough about the cabins. Best place to stay in the area. Owner and staff are some of the best and most down to earth people I have ever met. Anything you need just ask. Cabin's were clean, and very beautifully decorated. So relaxing and comfortable. The best weekend I have had in a long time. It's a beautiful area for hiking, canoeing, horseback riding or just enjoying nature. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing or adventurous weekend. Loved it!!! Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Very nice cabin and close to Turkey Run State Park. Owners are very friendly and if there were any issues (which we had no issues) the owners would have taken care of it immediately. We would definitely stay here again. Due to the covid virus their ice cream shoppe was closed. It will be awesome when they open it back up. We stayed in Gobbler #2

Spent 1 night with 5 friends in Gobblet #2, and it was delightful. There were some minor inefficiencies, but it's a cabin, not a hotel room! For a cabin, this place was very cute, very clean, and super cozy. I would definitely stay there again!

The cabin on first glance is adorable inside. Loft area with little windows, private. We were just hoping to get out in nature and these cabins are sitting right off the highway. You hear road noise loudly inside and it really takes away from the effect of the cabin feel.Note: we are in a pandemic and they don't provide hand soap... I don't just travel with that and no store around to get any. This point just really turned me off. They don't provide other cosmetics either. Shampoo conditioner etc which I totally understand but hand soap is $1, and Covid..Next. Hot water. It switches from hot to cold the entire time you shower. Definitely not a relaxing experience.The bed is a spring mattress I was thinking it would be a rough night sleep, but honestly wasn't too bad.Overall it was just bad experience. I tried to keep giving them the benefit of the doubt because the place is cute but I just overall didn't enjoy our experience. This saddened me because my husband and I had this night only away from our kiddos for the next upcoming year and we so wanted it to be a great experience.

When I arrived for check-in, there was no one there and the store was closed.Found bed bugs in bed in cabin along with grass on the supposedly clean sheets. Did agree to stay in the other cabin that did not have evidence of infestation. Of course I didn't want to sleep in that bed due to my experience in the other cabin, so I spent the night shivering on the sofa. Very inadequate heating, no paper towels and not even a bar of soap. I did not stay the second night as planned. I did not have a choice of lodging as I was staying with my dog.The shower consisted of standing in a bucket in the middle of the bathroom. The night I spent there was like staying in the back of a semi truck on the side of Highway 41. Never again.

Booked a two night stay for a fun birthday weekend, however we ended up leaving a day early. Although the site states the cabins are “clean and pleasant” that’s not what we experienced at all. There was hair inside of the shower, and the shower didn’t drain completely either, so we opted out of using the shower. The site also includes wifi as one of their amenities, but says “ (remember we are in the country and it is not always 100% stable)”, which is understandable. However, we did not have internet the entire one night we stayed and the tv only allows you to use streaming services which you need internet for. We also talked to another couple who had said they hadn’t had internet their entire stay. The garbage can outside between cabins was full and swarmed with bees, which meant we could barely be outside without the bees swarming us as well. The futton I had stayed on when you laid it down there was who knows what all in the seams of it, including a spring sticking up. Dirt and random objects underneath of the futton a themselves. The bedrooms have little to no where to set things down beside the bed. We even had to go out and purchase a coffee pot because the website failed to explain the one provided was similar to a kuerig. For a little over 200 more we could have booked another stay in Las Vegas for twice as many days. All and all not a great experience. We even expressed our feelings with the owners and they didn’t even mention refunding us for the night we didn’t stay there because of how unclean the place was. It’s very clear they don’t care about the satisfaction of their guests it’s about the money because they require the full amount at the time of booking.

Looking for the comforts of home while near Turkey Run? Look no further. My fiance and I stayed here for a single night after a horrible experience with the cabins at the Sugar Creek Campground in Crawfordsville, which weren't cabins at all, by the way, they were sheds with beds. The Gobbler's Knob cabins however, is like a hotel room. Shower, running, water, coffee maker, TV, couch, a big comfy bed, and much more. There's also a above ground fire pit and a grill outside to use. I would definitely recommend these cabins to anyone. Totally worth it.

Cabins at Gobblers Knob.We rented a cabin for 3 nights. They have three tiny homes.. They are adorable right off of 41. Great location. A quick ride to Turkey Run and only 10 minutes from the covered bridge routes.. Ideal location. Only problem is that the owners have never stayed in their own cabins.Granted its a true tiny home. Which means limited space. But there are no hooks, shelves or space for you to lay anything down. There are 2 tiny round tables which they have already covered with stuff. No where to put a toothbrush, soap, cell phone, anything. No door mats so you constantly drag dirt and stuff into through cabin. No where to lock up a bicycle. There shower is an aluminum tub.. With nowhere to put your soap or shampoo. And its flat so it doesn't drain. FORM OVER FUNCTION. Get rid of the cute cocacola decorations and hang useful decorations such as shelves and hooks. For what we paid a night, you can afford toilet paper. Your guests should not have to supply their own after the first complimentary roll.

Great for the whole family and the pets! Owner was nice and we dont have anything bad to say. Well accommodated for the stay and definitely going back. Short drive to turkey run and other stores! Thank you for the service.

We have been staying long term. (approximately 3weeks). All businesses start some where. We are happy to vouch for this quaint business tucked within a plethora of activities for family, and/or a little romantic stay. They have been very accomodating. Very comfortable beds.( NO BUGS). If we had any issues or need anything they always came through for us. Example : brought in an additional a/c unit to cool our room due to a physical condition I have. Moved us, at our request, to another cabin we preferred due to accesibility and convenience for our dog. They have gone over and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. So much so, that i went and handed out flyers for their business and am writing this review. Clean, and cozy. Great little Shop with candies, wonderful catering foods and excellent ice cream with hime made waffle cones/ bowls ( different flavors). I've tasted quite a few of items they have, all have been exceptional! Close to activities, swimming, hiking, canoe, kayak, tube float, go-karts. Great restaurant in Rockville. Lots of covered bridges to see. I can't wait to come back again.😊

The cabins were clean and freshly redone. It needed a few basic amenities to get a 4 star rating. Simple things like places to hang coats, something to set your bags on, and some small table's to set things on when you settle in for the evening.

This is our 3rd year spending a weekend here. Great hosts and quick response to any needs. Clean, fresh linens and nice seating around the firepit. We'll be back again next year.🙂
