Good place to look for uncommon liquor. I rarely drink so it has to be special for me to buy it and this place has the stuff worth buying. They'll special order items too if they don't have it.

While the Hobgoblin is a through and through solid store, with an ample selection of beverages and what not, it would at best rate as 4 stars if not for the Friday night wine tasting hostess and their charm to put it lightly. Kelsi, it’s always a pleasure chatting with you, your positivity is positively infectious.And you’re completely right by the way, the astral confection (maple blueberry French toast) is the best tasting of the sour brews. Just the right mix of flavors 👌All the best til next time 🍻

It is so awesome to have a small cute wine & liquor store right here! They have a fantastic selection and are always bringing in new brands to try. They even have wine tasting from time to time! So fun! What a great addition this store is been… great people, great selection, and always good vibes.

great boutique liquor store with amazing service. I especially love the wine selection and order my favorites by the case. It's the place to be in the summer on Friday nights - wine tastings, neighboring restaurant and shops make it a date night destination. Walking distance from the South Shore train station and a nice one mile walk to the National Park. See you there!

Hobgoblin is awesome! Great to have such a standout in the Dunes community. The owner Steve is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. The liquor, wine and craft beer selections are diverse and interesting. Every time I visit, Steve has something new to recommend. The store is impeccably clean and well organized. Steve always has a great selection from hard to find beers to small batch bourbons to a great mix of wines. If he doesn't have something you want, just ask and he can get it special ordered! Tinker also helps to keep unruly customers in line. Highly recommend!

I loved the salmon and shrimp poke!Delicious! It was a small salad, but tasted great! I thought they needed more servers.We felt neglected at times. It is very organized, has a deli, a bakery, and a bar. And a patio to eat outside. There are frequent ten minute waits before you can be seated. I loved the atmosphere and the friendly hospitality!

Small store. Huge selection of interesting craft beers, good quality wines and top shelf booze at great prices. Plus the staff is friendly and knowledgable, including Tinker, the resident Frenchie. Highly recommended if you're in the Dunes area.

Hobgoblin is a gem. Steve, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable. Tinker, the cute and lovable French bulldog store mascot will likely greet you at the door. The selection of beer, wine, spirits (bourbon in particular) is far more diverse than what you can find at any of the local big box stores and the prices are fair. Conveniently located on Highway 12, it’s a great place to stop and shop (and the bathroom is impeccable).

Server recommended the wings, meatballs and drinks! All delicious!!! Guy server with reddish hair gave great advice and was super friendly! Great atmosphere 10/10. Wonderful spot for a meal anytime of the day with family and friends!

The gentleman working there is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. A great place to get a bottle of wine, hard seltzer, or bottles of liquor. There are brands you recognize from the usual liquor or grocery store but then they've got more. You've got to stop in to try something new!

Good atmosphere. Pricy. Indoor/outdoor seating. Was going to try something fancy. Ended up getting the burger. Ok. Nothing special. We were there on fathers day. I chose restaurant. Long wait. Ran out of a lot of menu items. Maybe just an off day.. If you like foo foo dishes, small portions and drizzle on top, this might be for you.
