Ace is our go to since we've been doing a LOT of work on our home. They always have neat stuff and are quick to provide excellent customer service. The fact we are as close as 3 miles makes it much more convenient as well.

I have been waiting since December 2022 to get a solid response for my replacement windows in my very expensive french doors (that have condensation in them now) and I am still getting the run around. I finally today feel like I might be getting somewhere and now I am told that I must wait because the Habegger representative has now gone on a week's vacation and I get it everyone deserves vacation but he could not just get me in contact with the person that can help me get this resolved since I have waited 3 1/2 months now? Seriously?? Customer Service here is HORRIBLE.

This local hardware and lumber store is a step above the rest not because if what they carry but because of their staff. Many have been there for as long as can remember. They are helpful and friendly and active members of the community. When people talk about supporting local businesses this is one of the first that comes to mind. The staff here is far more knowledgable than most of your big stores and can point you in the right direction.

Yeah I was just in the Bern hardware store and a guy that was working in there made me feel really uncomfortable to even want to be in the store so I got the minimum that I could get and left every time I get close to him he back up like I was doing something wrong

Anything you need, this Ace has it. The owner is top notch and friendly. Did you know they make custom mantels from reclaimed barn wood for reasonable prices.

Waited 15 minutes for them to bring up two bags of salt from the back because Alex chose to use a forklift opposed to just carrying them. If it’s not out front ready to go, don’t waste your time.
