Ordered 6 starter plant Regal Gernaiums (Martha Washington’s) from them, must admit I was hesitant at first because of all the negative reviews online and hearing a lot of complaints from my friend who is a geranium maniac about the quality of this place - but I decided to give them a shot when they were offering some kind of discount a while ago, so glad I did because they came in healthier and larger than I was expecting with good branching on all 6 of them! They have some interesting varieties I haven’t been able to find anywhere else so I like their selection - will be trying out some other varieties soon 👍

Excellent experience! I don't have a good selection of plants locally to select from so I end up buying quite a few online. I tried GrowJoy for the first time this year and wow, what a great experience. The site was easy to use, excellent selection. They worked with me on shipping dates, and when the plants arrived the next day I was amazed! The size and quality of the plants was exceptional, and the packaging was ingenious! LOVE that the plants were very simple to extract from their wrapping, no damage, and all in great condition. I highly recommend GrowJoy and look forward to ordering more from them in the future.

I have to get the word out! Grow joy is the best online plant shop to purchase plants. I have tried four other shops who packed products so poorly that all I received was a box of loose dirt!! Not a plant anywhere except for a couple of very dead brown twigs!! Grow joy packed my order simply with careful thought! My two plants arrived in beautiful condition! Make Grow joy your online plant shop! You won’t be disappointed!!

Found this website and was so excited that they have the bougainvilleas that I was looking for. Plants came in looking healthy. Followed instructions that was included for the transplant. Now patiently waiting for the bloom! As soon as I received my first order, placed another order for different colors! Love the Gold and Thai Imperial color! I wish they will have the variegated varieties available soon! Definitely will order more in the future!

My husband and I are extremely pleased with our first experience ordering from GrowJoy. We've been looking for a favorite Geranium for the last several years (Tickled Pink), and never found it until now. Not only did they have it, but went out of their way to email with us in order to ship it at the time we requested. And wow - the plants were so healthy and large when they arrived, and packed in the best way we've seen since ordering online! Truly fantastic protection of the 3 inch pots. I've only been a GrowJoy customer for a few years although I've been gardening for over 50. I used to start everything from seed but as I get older buying plants is easier. Although I have purchased from other vendors, I have been extremely impressed with GrowJoy. Their packaging is exceptional and their plants arrive healthy and ready to go in the ground without the need to harden them. I then try to continue the quality care they started. My wife and I are both Italian and we love the paste tomatoes (Opalka and Amish Paste) for canning and fresh (I live in Wisconsin and I really miss garden fresh tomatoes on a BLT in the winter). We found GrowJoy's plants to produce healthy and tasty tomatoes, something you won't get from the generic plants purchased at a big box store. I've already submitted my order to GrowJoy for all my 2024 tomatoes and I am looking forward to another successful and satisfying season. I'm attaching a couple of photos of some Amish Paste tomatoes. I've never seen such solid tomatoes with so few seeds and the flavor is excellent.

Biggest surprise this year, however, was a switch to more environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging which allowed for the plants to breathe better en route and arrive even healthier. GrowJoy, well my experince with the small family owned company, I purchased a Munstead Lavender Herb Plant about 2 years ago; the plant arrived in mint condition, packaged so securely. Today the plant is still thirving, living in a gallon container on my deck and getting full sun and nurishment. As we approach 80 years old, we wanted to have kitchen herbs more readily accessible and to cut back on our gardening work. These plants arrived promptly and incredibly well packaged. We followed directions for soil and fertilizer and used six inch plants in raised planters in front of a south west facing window. Within ten days we were snipping and using them in our cooking.We were so impressed with this success that we ordered flowering annuals and an asparagus fern for a south facing window. These plants were thriving and blooming beautifully within two weeks.You have helped us bring our love for flowers and fresh herbs into our home. Thank you.Oh yeah, the price is right!!

Love, love, love Grow Joy! I have now ordered twice from Grow Joy and I was delighted both times! The plants arrived at the proper planting times, were packaged securely, and the plants were robust healthy plants. I was careful to follow the instructions such as with the Sombero Tres Amigos Echinachea. I opened them immediately, watered and kept in the shade of my covered back porch for two days so they could recover from their journey. (Honestly they looked really good and didn’t show signs of shock). I kept them moist for two days before planting in direct sun. I did use a small amount of Plant Tone by Espoma in the hole before placing in my Echinachea. I have been faithful to water consistently it’s first season so a robust root system is developed. And oh my! The wonderful growth and lots of blooms have been my reward!I am totally confident ordering from Grow Joy. They have such high standards for their plants and their customers! I heartedly recommend Grow Joy for your plant needs. The Coppersmith Mum and French Vanilla Mum is also thriving and I am over the moon! Thank you so much Grow Joy for your excellent plants! I’ve added photos below so you can see how the “babies” are growing. It is said the first year a plant sleeps, the second year they creep and the third year they leap. Mine are leaping LOL

I have purchased from the GrowJoy site two times in the last 2 months and it's been a terrific experience both times. The first was two Jack Be Little mini pumpkin plants, which came to me still hydrated and well-secured in the shipping packaging. Since transplanting them, the plants have absolutely flourished and we have over a dozen little pumpkins that we're loving watching grow. The second purchase was 14 total mum plantlings that arrived in just as great of shape as the pumpkin plants. We transplanted them within a day of receiving them and they're taking root in an area of our outdoors that has been an eyesore due to the amount of direct sunlight it receives. I can't believe how much better it looks and how it's changed the whole appearance of this area. We cannot wait for fall when the area is full of beautifully colored mums! Thank you so much for all of the joy these mini pumpkins and mums have brought to us - GrowJoy really is a joy!

Last year, I had a good experience (much smaller order). This year, wasn't good overall. I placed 3 large orders in early spring. 15 plants weren't sent to me. The website and email shipping notices all showed that everything was sent. But each time I opened the boxes, plants were missing. Backordered & cancelled were written on the included invoices with no other information. Each time I had to contact them to get my money refunded (backordered wasn't explained; I was jus told my money would be refunded). One plant was very yellow and died a couple of days after receiving it (refunded). Another broke during shipping (still waiting to hear back). Pros- lots of variety, plants packaged well, free shipping with certain amount purchased, mostly good plants. Cons- poor communication & inaccurate website info, plants not shipped should be automatically refunded (or even better, charge for plants as they ship), some plants small and/or yellow. I recommended GrowJoy to friends/family last year. I will probably order again, but not place such large orders. I understand that they had issues with their plants this year (causing ship delays and no stock), but that shouldn't cause poor communication and inaccurate info on their website and shipping emails. Plus, I didn't find it to be easy to work out issues. The first photo is of a potato plant the day I received it (died a couple of days later). I've included several photos to show a little of what I received. Some looked good, some were yellow or small. One was eaten by bugs when I received it. All Sedum looked good. Just to give you an idea of what I received this year.Update (a month+ since my original post)- I tried calling the number in the response and it currently says it is no longer a working number? 7 plants in all died :( (ones that I described above as tiny and/or yellow). I'm disappointed in the money I lost and this year's experience. Quite a few plants, shouldn't have been sent. I spent $15 on a tiny two-leaf Hollyhock (died). I hope GrowJoy works out their issues and that things improve for them. I definitely don't feel like they are a scam company or have bad intentions. I appreciate the response from their rep and I sent them an email.

I purchased three varieties of geraniums from this store through the mail. What a satisfying experience! I had never purchased plants through the mail before. All arrived in beautiful condition, not a broken stem anywhere. I planted them in a large rectangular planter that hangs from my balcony railing. Within 2 weeks, all were flowering or had new buds. They have all survived the heat and fires here in No. California. I will be buying from GrowJoy for all my flowers from now on.Update: it's been three years and my Geraniums are still blooming strong. The attached photo is from just a few days ago.

We love our GrowJoy seed-to-plant kit. I got the Blue Lake Pole Bean Plant, which is already showing signs of growth. The GrowJoy website says that it will arrive in a box with 2 other plants still yet to sprout. Sent 4 emails cancelling order but they were not processed.After I negatively reviewed them here and other sites, customer service contacted me, and after I requested it, they agreed to refund shipping.The plant arrived fresh and healthy.

Ordered 3 Marguerite Impomoea early and they shipped it out right as the season started. They arrived promptly and safely and even though I had to wait a day to open and plant them they were still sturdy. It's been over a month now and the 3 sprouts now cover about a square meter of ground and the leaves are the size of my hand. Very easy to cultivate despite my lack of green thumb.

TLDR: Sub-par plants and horrible customer service.I placed online orders with them in the winter/early spring and when everything finally arrived it was all dry, leggy, and some were already dead. I reached out to their customer service line numerous times and finally got a respond email. I was told I would get a full refund but then never received the refund or heard back from growjoy. I’ve submitted tickets, emailed, and tried calling. They sent out a video apologizing for this last year but to me that was just a publicity stunt because they ignore their customers.
