The check out person was pretty chatty and would have liked to see him move a bit quicker and talk less but was saved by a person, though, she wasn't feeling well, jumped on the register and helped fire the rest of the long line through. Saved from the line. Thank you!

Great new look to the store and more products. Does seem a little bit more crowded now...but not too bad.. Only drawback...waited in line quite a long time....and that seems to be the norm...otherwise a great store.

The place everyone shops.It's like the Target of Berne (Family Dollar is like the Walmart).The store is always clean, not always tidy in the seasonal aisle though. It's always well stocked, and they have a Redbox outside!Cons: It's too small. Why, it was built so small I have no idea, it's stupid small, but that's not the location's fault, it's corporate's. What is a problem is the associates are always in the way. Their carts are huge and they can't figure out a way to organize themselves and they don't seem like they care to learn a way to either when the boss lady isn't around.They need more associates, some high school students might be nice. Some of the employees you have to practically pull up pics on your phone of the merchandise. The associates outside of management are nice but are a bit too friendly (very obviously unintentionally).Now, I admit this is just nit picking but, they have a radio hooked up to their speaker system and it isn't EVER tuned in properly and it's always Christian politics, music or sermons. It makes shopping horrible.

Went to get diet coke on sale, they were out as usual. I ask the clerk for a rain check, he said they don't give rain checks. False advertising!!! The worst customer service ever!!!! I'm done with this store. Not the first time I've had problems there. The wait in line is always ridiculous!!!!

Friendly atmosphere and keeping on stocking the shelves that didn't have much on ...got things if you needed it. Very nice store to go too.

The night manager is always so rude when I go in there no matter what time it is when I go there she either follows me around and/or is rude. And its not just me others have seen and witnessed how she is also she didn't give a recipt thr other night and now I cant exchange an outfit. Anways I was just upset by how rude she always is .

This DG is convenient to have downtown. But, lord help us, the aisles are conistently blocked by carts. It's absolutely absurd the number of carts (as in, carts with merchndise for stocking shelves) they have out at one time. Way more than the number of employees on any given shift. WHY?! They can't possibly be doing all of them at once WHILE manning the register. I'm certain they're losing sales because it's frustrating to have to manually move these monsters to get what you need. I know I've given up multiple times. And checkout is often pretty slow.

This store don’t even deserve 2 stars! Most rude, unhelpful ppl I’ve ever came across. This store is 2 mins from my house but I will drive 30 mins and go right past it! They don’t wanna sell anything in this store. If you go when there is a sale, nothing is on the shelf but go the day after the sale and it looks like they just got a truck in. None of the ppl that work here should be working with the public. They sure don’t know customer service. AND IF YOU’RE USING A COUPON... YOU WILL BE THERE AN HOUR FOR THEM TO READ IT, GET SOMEONE ELSE TO READ IT THEN CALL THE MANAGER TO READ IT TO! Just to tell you no it don’t work on that item! Even if it does and you have used it at every other store in 3 counties and the same one is on their website digitals. This is just not a good place to shop! They need to replace the employees or have Jess from Geneva to come train them on customer service!!

Great new arrangement! I wish they still had individual ice cream bars, though. We went there for ice cream bars more than for any other reason!

Same old same old....can't hardly get through the Isles. Don't they have a warehouse to keep all those Ben's in till the are ready to put each one on the shelves instead of shoving them all out in the way at once?
