Always out of popcorn, not sure why they don't make more! Also, watch as sale signs in wrong places. Tried buying Carhartt shirts that said 25% off on rack and good through next week but apparently were not on sale. Not sure why they don't fix signs or put in CORRECT place. Good flower and veggies selection, better than Bloomington anyway.

The store is a bit run down looking, and sometimes dirty. I think most Rural Kings (at least in our area) are like this. It IS a farm store after all, so it's not too surprising. But, I've heard people complain about that so just giving a heads up. Prices seem to be average to other stores in the area, but they often have good clearance sales. They recently had Summer decorations marked down 75%, which was pretty cool. I was able to get some solar and concrete yard decorations that I probably wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. You'll notice a lot of items will literally sit on the shelves for YEARS. There are items from when they first opened still sitting there! (You can tell by the layers of dust, lol !) Seems like RK would want to send old stuff back to a merchandiser or mark it down to get it out of the store for new items. 🤔 Last, I like that they allow you to bring your dogs 🐕‍ in. PLUS, "Fido" 🐶 gets a free treat at check-out! Overall, I'm happy RK is here and I encourage you to check them out.

One stop is most of my rural needs. Walked in for a pair of new work gloves and left with five new baby chicks. From the backyard farmer to that large farm they have what you need. And the staff is very friendly.

Waited 45 minutes for whoever was working the gun counter to come back from lunch. No one showed up, not even a manager. Never again

If there was less then one star id put it Bedford rural king is the worst had a hisun side by side there for 3years picked it up today it wouldn't even drive on to the trailer will be suing this place and Kate the manager is the rudest worst Manger I have ever met in my LIFE and mechanic Dwight wouldn't even know HOW TO air a tire up if his life depended on it bad enough fix a side-by-side 3 YEARS AND STILL DONT WORK then they REFUSED to come out and help at least get it on to the trailer after THEY BROKE IT I have plenty of proof of the incompetence I have dealt with over the three years please if you're reading this don't ever bring anything and to be fixed at this rural King!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Online ordered 34 bags of bedding and was half way into a 2hr trip to pick it up when I got an email it was canceled. How the F do you run a business when your inventory is off by 34 on an item!?! Call before you drive and hope you get someone helpful enough to check.

The store itself is fine for buying supplies, but if you're trying to buy a firearm and you're military PCS'd here, good luck.I got turned away because no one at the counter understood how to do a firearm transaction to AD stationed in Indiana. They looked up something on their computer, either direction from ATF or their stores SOP and said I had to be a resident of Indiana (this is where my orders, that I had in-hand at the time along with my CAC, should have supplemented the sale).Went to American Arms instead and left with the firearm I originally intended to buy at RK.

Kate and Dwight are the dumbest worst mechanic and managers that have ever walked the earth please stay away from BEDFORD RURAL KING if u need anything fixed or help with anything they will over charge screw you over and you will still have a broken item I will now have to take my hisun somewhere else to fix there mistakes after 3 years and pay a lawyer just to sue them

Same brand dog food cheaper at rulers, Mitchell. Batteries are cheaper if it’s in stock. So haven’t been back for a year

There is a good selection at the store, and the prices are relatively reasonable. I was able to get some shots for my dog that I thought I could only get done at the vet. It's well laid out, and everything is easy to find. And the staff is also very helpful for answering questions. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to other people. I signed up for the rewards program and it seems like a decent plan for making regular purchases. I had the great big bags of dog food and they are well priced.

Awesome place. People are really nice and willing to help. The gentleman that oversees the chickens and rabbits is so helpful and truly takes his job seriously which is not always evident with live stock but with him it is. The gentleman over the dog department is also a huge blessing and helps with a big smile every time! I have been known to make a second trip because they weren't working the first time I stopped in - that's how much I trust and respect them.Every visit is pleasant, and the people rock!

Good stuff here! Great for those like me on a budget. Cashews(yum!!!) for $12 a pound! I get them as a treat. Also, got a Carhartt toboggan on clearance for $9. Early August, but it will be cold ❄ soon enough!

Far better than any store that even closely resemble it. Best gun and ammo prices than anywhere else. They have layaway for guns too. Have just about anything you could want and then some relating to farm and country, clothing, lights, tools, welding equipment batteries, etc. Worth a trip every 2-3 weeks or as needed....

Very disappointed with our last visit. Went in for a submersible pump, found it on shelf, took it to the checkout and it rang up a different price (higher of course). When I asked about it, the cashier called someone else to the register and she informed me that I could got back to the shelf and take a picture of the SKU number to see if it matched. Last I remember that was something you could accompany an employee with to go and do?? What has happened to customer service?? I went ahead back and did find that someone had put that pump in the wrong spot, found the pump I needed and went back to the register and made the purchase. Took it home, removed it from the box and found that it had already been used!! I called and was informed they didn't have anymore. The pump seems to work, but I'll be sure to check items over better before I purchase for there again....if I go back.

Overall I enjoyed what RK had to offer. They have great prices and a wide variety of items. However I was very displeased with the customer service. I had a very rude female cash register associate today. We had to put back multiple items because she said it didn’t have tags.

**** ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BC I COULDNT POST WITHOUT AT LEAST ONE!??? Went in to buy an at least 400.00 gun and waited over 10 mins and no one came to counter.. went up front and asked for someone to please come back and assist us with our gun purchase.. waited another 25 mins and a man finally shows up .. completely ignores us while looking up an item on the computer which we hear him say over his radio to I guess his manager its 26.99 online but not showing up in their system?? And still completely ignoring us even though we were the only ones at the gun counter for 40 mins?? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! WE WILL TAKE OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!
