I love Bedford Vet Clinic and have taken my pets there for 15 plus years. Their prices are fair and the staff is so kind! They don’t make vets like Dr Steve Medlock! He is amazing! I am very thankful for this place.

My boys and I absolutely love the staff at Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre! I moved to the area about a year ago, and they happened to be right down the road from me, and I am so thankful they are! They were able to get me in quickly, and have been amazing to work with ever since. They are thorough, but efficient, affordable, and you can tell they really care about all the animals that come in there. Plus with the app, scheduling is a breeze. Highly recommend them!

Awesome! We had our first wellness check/ first visit at Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre today. The entire staff from check in to the exam to check out was great. Rambunctious aka “Rambo” met with Dr. Wealtz and Robbyn today. I think Rambo will get a little more comfortable going to the vet each time. Thorough wellness check and we were on our way! Convenient and excellent customer service. See you again in September 2023 unless the need arises sooner. 🐾 🐈 🐾

The staff are not just kind to people and animals, they are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They answer all of my questions and take the time to make sure I understand. They go above and beyond for us and it is all at a very reasonable price!!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences with this veterinary clinic. I have taken both of kittens to be fixed and they were wonderful with both. Yesterday, I had an emergency with my fur baby dog and they were able to get me in same day. My sweet Raven started limping a couple days before and then all of a sudden she couldn’t walk on her back legs. I apologize in advance for not remembering the name of the female doctor but she examined Raven throughly and everything I had read, she checked, explained what she was doing, which I am a nurse and was able to understand what was going on. She thought possibly ACL tear but also thought possibly lime disease. She explained both treatments and went ahead and gave Raven antibiotics for the Lime Disease and some pain medication to help with inflammation and of course the pain. She also stated that if she doesn’t respond to the medication that she would refer us to the specialist for the ACL. I gave Raven her first dose of antibiotics and pain medication last night and we finally both got some rest. This morning I picked Raven up out of bed to go potty and she hesitated, but stood up and realized she could walk again! I can’t believe she responded so quickly to the antibiotics and minus being a little sleepy from the medication, Raven is back to her normal happy self! She still has to take the antibiotics for 30 days and I went ahead and gave her her pain medication to help with the inflammation as I believe that’s one of the symptoms of Lime’s Disease, but not only does my back thank you guys for everything, but as a fur baby mommy I am so grateful for your knowledge and detailed examination. The assistants are also amazing and I thank you as well. I have definitely found a new vet that I trust and will continue to use for routine and hopefully no more emergency visits, but I definitely found the one to replace Dr. Jane after she closed. The other vet in this town, I have no use for and wish I would have taken my previous fur baby dog to this vet, because she might still be here had I known. Thank you guys again!

Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre will be our forever vet. I can not express the amount of gratitude I have towards the beautiful humans who run this office. Our sweet Bella was seen by Dr Medlock in an emergency situation after ingesting something she was unable to pass on her own. We had never been seen or visited BVMC in the past and having been turned down by our vet of 11 or so years due to being booked up for weeks, we had to seek out alternative vets that would see us in a hurry without being an existing client, this proved to be very difficult. Dr. Medlock was comforting, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The vet techs treated us well and we never felt the sense that anyone would ever have us purchase something we didn't absolutely need or spend money where it wasn't absolutely necessary. Bella was seen on a Friday and Dr Medlock and his staff did surgery that same day, and although things did not go as we had hoped Kami kept us in the loop with Bellas status and our options. We never gave up on Bella and neither did BVMC. We ended up having three surgeries completed by time it was all said and done. Everyone did absolutely everything they could for our sweet girl and they even let us come visit her after surgery. The vet techs took shifts to come and check in on Bella and give her some attention throughout the night, even through a snow storm. Bedford is so lucky to have such a good place to take their pets to where you get old fashioned genuine care without feeling like you are being overcharged or sold something unnecessarily. We will forever be grateful for what they have done to try to save our sweet Bella and BVMC can count on our business.

I inquired about an international Health Certificate and they worked around our travel plans within a week. Rebecca and the entire staff has been so helpful and made this difficult process a smooth one.

Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre is the absolute best. The vets and the staff are top notch - knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. We have taken our dogs there for the full range of services - from rabies shots to critical issues. They have been superior in every aspect. We wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else!

Dr. Medlock cared for my childhood golden retriever throughout his life. When the time came, he is the same one who put my friend down. All throughout the good and bad, we never once questioned his passion for animal care. Now that I’m older, I trust all the vets at the Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre with my pets. They are fair in price, down to earth, and I have no doubt that my pets will be cared for… I even drive an hour to ensure it!

This used to be the best vets around, but no more since they retired. We have gone here 25+ years and our little Havanese is sick. We called in to get an appointment and the said it would be 1 to 2 weeks till they could get her in. We told them she needed to be seen sooner that that. They said they would recommend another vet and they would send her medical records to them. WTH. So folks you might as well start looking for a new Vet !!! DR. Waltz and Dr. Medlock WE MISS YOU.

Paid a large amount of money, only to get this tiny little urn ( which I didn't hv the choice to pick out) & it is no bigger than a coffee cup, with only the name "Bailey" in sticker letters. No death certificate, couldn't do an autopsy to gv me an idea as to what happened to her, so as any grieving person, I'm very distraught at how this was handled. I hope that no one else has to experience their "last goodbye" this way.

The new vet is very condescending. I don't like her. There have been too many changes there, and it's not for the good. I have taken my cats there several times before this new vet. And it's been a great experience. The office manager isn't there anymore, and one of the vets has retired, and the other is only working part of the time now. I think he is semi-retired. The woman vet they just hired (i dont know her name because she didn't even introduce herself), didn't even take my cats out of their carrier to take a look at them. $300 later, I'm walking out the door... dumbfounded at what just happened. Needless to say, I'm looking for another vet. This place came highly recommended too. It was good until the staff changes.

The people that work there are wonderful but waiting in the car with a dog that doesn't really like to be stuck in the car for 30 min with very hot temperatures, then being told the wait was going to be much longer is not good practice. I sat there with 5 other people waiting to go in. I finally canceled my appointment for the day. I really like our Vet so it makes me unhappy to give such a low review.

Most excellent vet facility! Professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, always ready to respond and available to help! Our lovely Cav was seen and treated by Dr Waeltz all of her life, and we have wonderful memories of the clinic's well-trained and supportive staff... I also remember their kindness when our Andie went over the rainbow bridge, and we were absolutely brokenhearted. Now, 8 years since, we got ourselves a new fur baby, and there is no question about it: Our trust for the best of her health and future care lies with Dr Waeltz and the staff at Bedford Veterinary Medical Center.

Completely unacceptable service. My dog which was under this offices care was having a potentially life threatening obstruction and I called the office 5 times with no response. I called the check in number will an immediate answer and a quick dismissal to call the other line again or text. No response. Not the first time the office has been completely unreachable during business hours.

I've been with them since I got my dog back in 2012. They were always really great with her. I could trust them to take care of her. She recently passed away and they were awesome about the procedure of putting her to sleep. They gave us time to grieve with her once she was gone and didn't rush us out. They sent us a card afterwards sending condolences. They were very professional and sympathetic. I miss my dog greatly, but they made the process of losing her a little easier.
