We just adopted our second dog from Crystal Creek. Our first dog was an absolute angel, and we had her for almost 13 years. Our current dog was just adopted a few days ago, and she came to us fully vetted and healthy and happy. Clearly she was given lots of attention and affection while she was there, because she is as sweet as can be. The owners are so patient and knowledgeable about the dogs in their care. This place performs an amazing service for the community. Please look here first when adopting your pets, and please consider donating to them. This is a wonderful organization that is in it for the right reasons.Cookie seems pretty comfy in her forever home!

We adopted our sweet boy from here and the staff here couldn’t have been more helpful. Very knowledgeable people here that clearly care about the animals in their care and finding them loving homes.

The county shelter is currently full of all sized dogs, looking for their forever home. All the dogs love TLC and just want a chance to meet you

DO NOT TAKE UR PETS OR STAYS HERE!We attempted to take two strays here, the woman was EXTREMELY rude cussing us out when we were being nothing but nice. She then stated that they “will euthanize these animals as their life serves no purpose” this place is extremely dirty and the animals all look like they are in terrible condition. I never leave bad reviews but I would never ever trust these awful people with any animal.

Crystal Creek is very dirty to take an animal there because when we took our cats there to be spayed and neutered there it wasn't clean at all.Plus when we tried to get our emotional support dog the cages outside were even dirty plus they put animals with other animals who has anxiety who can't be around other dogs

I adopted a “7.5 month” kitten from this place last week. He had a huge lump on his stomach, so I immediately took him to the banfield vet. My cat has a huge hernia and is actually 5 months old. I asked if crystal creek could do anything about it and they she said I can give him back to them and they will refund me my money, do the surgery, and then give him back to me. However, if he is labeled “unadoptable” or “was eliminated” then I would not be able to get him back. So basically, I have no idea if i will get my cat back or not. What if they let someone else adopt him? idk. Not to mention I read a comment about the same situation with a dog which they agreed to, but the kennel told the family they were not giving the dog back to the family because the kennel became attached to him. I then asked who does the procedures and the facility, so I could at least see how credible the vets are. This was her response “ that is private information we do not release. your options are return the kitten to the shelter and transfer ownership back to the shelter. we will have one of our vets look at the kitten and repair the hernia. please read the adoption agreement”

They even stayed open late for us!! They tried really hard to match our tastes with the right dog. Also very nice and respectful. Did not pressure us. The one showing us dogs was great but she needs a little more training with a leash.

I have been trying to get my emotional support animal from Crystal creek and they are refusing to give me back my emotional support animal back. I have papers to prove she is my emotional support animal

Board our beloved dog here often. Our dog is happy when we arrive and happy when we leave so we are confident he has good care. Kennels are very clean. Yes, the office smells strongly of cats - but this is a no-spay shelter and there are a LOT of cats here. Fair pricing and happy dog - I couldn't ask for more.

We adopted both of our boys here and have used them for boarding for 8+ years now. Never a problem! Always clean and the boys come home happy everytime! Prices are amazing and the smiles they serve us with keep us coming back! Thank you!

The older woman running the place . Is very rude and disrespectful to people, Very rough handling of the pets. The place was so dirty and it smelled awful. And then she started bashing a local vet that has been at Vet. for 50+ years which is a wonderful vet . So I decided that I was going to take my pets back because I didn’t like how she was being so rude and disrespectful and rough handling of the pets, She refuse to let me have them back. So I contact my attorney then she let me have them back but I still had to pay her for a one night of boarding.. It’s a very good program, So a lot of pets are suffering because of this woman’s running this place she should be forced into retirement and let somebody else take over Who is able to run the place in a very respectful way. Oh and by the way my cats was covered in flees when I got them back. Plus I was getting bit on my ankles that place is ridden with fleas I would never use that place as a boarding kennel

These people are very dedicated to what they do. I have used their spay neuter service for a cat I found and rescued. I also board my dog there regularly. The kennels are clean and extremely well managed. I know my dog is well cared for and loved when she is there. Can't say enough good things about this place and these people.

Demand a heart worm test if you plan on adopting a dog from this shelter!!! My husband and our family had a terrible experience with this shelter and the incredibly rude owners, especially NITA. We adopted the perfect addition to our family, a black lab mix named Cooper. He fit in perfectly, loved our daughter and loved our other dog. Found out after 2 days that he had heart worms. We kept him for over a month while he took the initial antibiotic for the treatment. Once we finally got a hold of the shelter (because they don't answer calls and ignore emails), they told us the only way the shelter would pay for his treatment was if we returned him. We were told if he survived the treatment we could re-adopt him once his xrays came back clear for heart worms. So each week we called to see how he was doing. Most of the time NITA would not answer the phone or return calls, but if we did get a hold of someone they would tell us to call back in a few weeks because his treatment wasn't finished. Finally we were told last week he was doing well and would be rechecked this week. So my husband called today to find out how he was doing and if he was ready for re- adoption. The owner told my husband that they decided to keep Cooper at the kennel because they've become attached to him. What?? You are kidding, right?? A kennel that is meant for families to come and find their little fur baby and perfect addition to the family is going to keep a dog that has a loving family that has cared for him and worried about him since he has been gone? What a life for a black lab. To live at a kennel, with an old crippled owner, rather than grow old with a loving family, children and a puppy sister to play with. Terrible people, terrible business owners, and truly hard to believe in the business that they are in that they would even consider keeping a dog that is wanted by a family that had already adopted him. Nita went so far as to say they became attached and he was going to be the kennel mascot... Seriously? Doesn't a family become to attached to the dog they adopt as soon as they adopt him? We were attached as soon as we saw his picture online! We wanted to spend many more years with him as a part of our family, so we did what we thought would be best and returned him for treatment. Not to mention, why does this kennel and animal shelter have animals with heart worms, and they don't do a simple heart worm test before letting them be adopted? Doesn't seem right to me.

Had 3 kittens dumped on my property. Asked AllCats for advice on finding a shelter for them. They kindly called Nita at Crystal Creek and they agreed to take them in and find them a new caring home. Happy ending to a cruel, lazy and selfish beginning. Thank you Crystal Creek Kennels.

Went to drop off my cat for low cost neuter. He had thrown up in his cage on the drive there so of course when we opened the cage he takes off into the woods. We looked for him for about an hour before it started to get dark so we went up to the kennel where we planned on leaving a phone number and picture of him. We were told this has happened over a dozen times and there was a .5% chance he would return. The coyote come up from the river and feed on the cats at night. Then she tell me that if I find him in a tree she knows a guy who will get him down for 75$. But again only one cat has ever made it through the night. She was very rude and obviously does not have a passion for animals. There were cats stacked in cages 5-6 high lining the office waiting to be spayed. My cat was smart to take off, he had better chances of survival with the coyotes.

Absolutely horrible! We made an honest mistake taking a female cat at the male neuter last night. She did warn us the 95$ cost if it was a female I asked for her to check out my sons kitten and she said "we don't sex your cats" we thought it was a male. I go tonight to pick it up and I didn't see him she tells me we have a problem and says it was a female and I owed her 45$! I told her I didn't have the $ and asked why she didn't call me ahead of time! She said I should have asked her to check the kitten first! I reminded her what she told me yesterday and she wasn't sure how to respond other than start throwing stuff! Long story short I had things thrown at me finger in my face but I left with my sons kitten "spank jr"! NEVER EVER will I go back to that place again!!!! No manners and sure the heck proves she doesn't care about the animals well being!

I'm not sure they are actually interested in adopting out animals.I emailed, called/left a message regarding one of the dogs they have listed for adoption. No response-by email or phone. Finally got a call today that the dog I was interested was given to a different rescue and was probably already adopted. Dog is still listed on their site and on Petfinder.P.S. the women who answered the phone was quite rude.

Adopted two cats from them through petsmart when they were kittens and I have had no problems with them. Two wonderful cats are what I have now and there is no reason you shouldn't consider them especially since the majority of cats from petamart are actually theirs.

My family and I have always taken out animals here and have had nothing but the best treatment and care! The doctors and staff are wonderful and kind I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone other than creekside.

Took a 14 year old dog away from its owner and refuses to give it back. Completely unethical and awful. Deleted and blocks those who criticize.

Shelter was really responsive to the needs of stray kittens! They were filled but found a foster quickly.

LOL at the review about the cat running away. I have gotten several male cats neutered here, and while it may look unorganized, they do a great job and for $15 can't be beat.

Not sure if they are ever open their scheduled hours or even interested in adopting out any of their animals. Every time we call to see if they are actually open that day they give a lame excuse (sickness, it's too cold, etc.).

The low cost spay/neuter program is great that I give, 5+ stars. The lady at the kennel was rude and the place smelled badly.
