This store is more local than Walmart in Greensburg, I shop here relatively regularly for odds and ends that don't require a large grocery trip. On several occasions, I've purchased items only to take them home and find that, when I open them, they're well past expired. I've never had this much of an issue, consistently, with any other store. I'm annoyed at how much time I've spent on returns or having to go to Walmart instead to buy the thing I've already purchased but had to toss.Despite the fact that I've discussed all the returns I've had to make with a manager, I continue to find and inadvertently purchase expired milks, frozen, and fresh foods. It poses a health risk for me and my family and I want the store to take it more seriously. Recently, I purchased two egg nogs for Christmas day and, on the day of, as I was opening them, found they were expired by over a month AND VERY spoiled. I can't believe the lack of quality control here at this small town Kroger.However, I will say that everyone at this store, across multiple trips, is very friendly and tries to be helpful. Keith in produce went out of his way to help find products and solutions that weren't in his department or even at their store to help me. The cashiers and self check out attendants are always very friendly and do seem to want to help. The customer care experience is good, I just want the products to be more carefully managed.

I love the pick up grocery option! Even though I have to drive 15 minutes from Greensburg to get my groceries it’s no problem. Kroger of Batesville is always staffed with friendly people who won’t hesitate to help you. Tom and Amanda prepared my pick up order today and it was complete and packed nicely! I highly recommend the ClickList experience at Kroger of Batesville!

Currently been sitting in the pick up parking for iver 45 minutes. While watching cars that showed up much later get their groceries and leave. Not the 1st poor service from this Kroger. Had a delivery employee charge expensive items on our order for themselves. Poor service and thieves. That's what you get at this Kroger.

This review is 3 star because of clicklist at this location. Over the last few months we have repeatedly had items marked unavailable, which is understandable... popular items are going to be unavailable sometimes. What is frustrating is when we go inside for something else only to find the "unavailable" items are actually fully stocked (on their usual shelf) AND items that could have been used as a substitution are also on shelves nearby. Unfortunately, this seems to have become the norm.

My girlfriend did a quick list in the morning and was told it would be ready at 6pm. They called at 5:30 and said it wouldn't be ready until 7. Got there at 7 and waited for over an hour for the order which was not a big order. Don't offer this service if you can't pull it off.

Ordered 2 birthday cakes, one in June and one in October, neither were decorated correctly. The first one, they misspelled a 14 year olds name. We called and were refunded our money on the first one, so I gave them a second chance and ordered this cake online, where I put in all the details. My husband just brought it home and they put yellow roses on it instead of pink. It’s not difficult to follow written instructions, but clearly the bakery cannot.

Pick up took 35 minutes to get. Only giving 2 stars only because they offer curb side pickup and you can call when you get there. There were 3 cars that arrived after me, yet got their groceries before I did and that was already with me waiting 15 minutes. I then decided to run into the store for items I forgot on the list and still got out before my car was loaded as my mom was in the car to wait for it. They said they had a technical glitch which is fine, but I called twice to follow up! Not a great experience. They even gave me a grocery list of items, and not all the items were in there so I had to get out and check...

Many items are marked as one price on the shelf, & ring up more expensive at the register. Then, when you bring it to their attention, they act like you're trying to rip them off. Very shoddy business tactics!

Easy in, easy out. Aisles are spaced comfortably so you don't feel cramped. Store is very clean. Shelves were fully stocked and faced. If this store was closer to home I'd go there more often.

I was at the Batesville Indiana Kroger yesterday & a woman in the bakery helped us find an item we were unsure where to find in the store. She literally tracked us down in an aisle to tell us. Great Customer Service!

Love this Kroger! Great customer service and ask the employees are so kind and helpful! There click list service is also a great addition. There are a few things that need to be ironed out yet but it is a fantastic alternative to going inside the store. I have MS and this allows me to get groceries at ease!

two weeks before my daughters party I went and ordered a cake to be picked up the day of her party. we never got any phone calls or anything so I assumed all was well. my mom went to pick up the cake a few hours before the party and gets told they never got the shipment to make the cake (which I understand and its not their fault) what Im not happy with is that we never got a phone call or anything to let us know they didn't receive it so we could make other arrangements. very bad communication on their part. I didn't give them 1 star and did give them 3 because the girl working did help. she did her very best to make a decent cake with what she had in short amount of time and worked with the pricing. but not letting us know they wouldn't be able to make the cake we ordered almost TWO weeks ahead of time was very much so on them and very much so, poor customer service. but to the girl working the bakery today that saved the day and made a mermaid cake very quickly . thank you so much if you see this.

I walked in with my Husband and some friends and a worker was very rude to us she gave us the dirtiest look when we walked in, when I go to a place I don’t want to be looked at like I’m an issue for shopping there when all I had to do was grab a couple things. RUDE!!!

Ordered a 1/2 sheet cake with a printed photo on it. The photo was put on horribly. There are significant wrinkles and the edges are folded over. Besides the photo issues, the border isn't even on the edge of the cake.2 employees told me how bad it looked, and I was given $10 off.

Tried to purchase a cake from the bakery but after the woman working in the area finished helping another customer she just walked away. I waited for 5 minutes and she never came back. Another customer walked up and she waited with me before I ran and picked out a birthday card. Came back and the second customer was still waiting. Stood around for another minute or two and just have up. I think I am done shopping at this Kroger. Service has declined
