Don’t bother making an appointment here. I had a 12:00 oil change appointment, but my car was not taken back until 2:00. Oil change itself was done quickly, but the receptionist proceeded to say “If you would’ve called, we could’ve scheduled you better”I did call to make the appointment and was scheduled several days in advance. If you truly don’t have open appointments, you should not advertise that you do. When this place makes a mistake, they blame the customers. Terrible customer service and outrageous prices. I would not recommend going here.

Most mechanics I've run into on the road are too busy to get me in for two weeks. Bob Sumerel got me a next-day appointment and did everything I requested....in less than four hours. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm not sure how far I'd drive to have them service my car, but if I'm in town again, they're my first choice. Thank you!

Went to get my oil done today thinking I had an appointment. Was informed someone else was being serviced and I couldn't be fitted in for an hour. My name wasn't in the system.

I wasted a chunk of my Saturday because of this shop. I called the day before to ask if they could align my vehicle since it's an unusual one. They said "yeah we can do that". The next day I arrived and told them I needed 4 tires mounted before the alignment, they told me that they won't mount tires brought in by a customer but they'll align it when I get them mounted. I had the tires mounted, returned, and was told their machine couldnt align my vehicle because it wasn't in the system. If one of the 3 people I spoke to had bothered to check before giving me an answer then I would've saved a bunch of time on my day off and scheduled an appointment somewhere else.

This place is awesome and would recommend. I called this morning and they were able to get me in for an appointment today. What I thought was just needed of putting my window back on its track turned into needing a whole assembly replaced. They were super quick to get the part in and get it put on before I had to get kids from school. Due to the unexpected repair and time constraint I was on they worked with me amazingly and did an awesome job. Thank you for making my day better.

Prices at this location are a lot more than other locations. The service has never been higher than poor. They don’t explain warranties on tires unless the customer asks. They don’t seem to wanna help if there’s a miscommunication about a warranty. I bought two tires 18 months ago that I thought were good tires and just had one blow out on the highway. When I called them about the warranty the service tech told me the tire wasn’t under warranty. He explained I should’ve asked for a warranty at time of purchase. I was under the impression that it was but obviously I was supposed to tell him I wanted a warranty, which I’ve never ever heard of that with any purchase of any item at any company. I then found out that this particular brand is being discontinued by the manufacturer due to poor quality but Bob Sumerel isn’t taking any responsibility for this or telling any of their customers who bought this brand to return with these tires to have them replaced. I’m sure they wouldn’t help with the price. Just not a customer oriented or friendly place. I won’t ever go to this location again...

Needed struts and shock absorbers replaced, had to come back twice because something kept rubbing against the backing plate. Then six months later I get my wheel bearing and tie rod ends replaced. Had to come back again for backing plate issue, then again because they didn’t reattach the heat shield properly. And after going back a second time I know have a flat tire. Please AVOID. This place will give you nothing but grief

I took my truck into Bob Sumerel - Aurora in Feb. 2023. They said my transmission looked "perfect" and just needed new fittings in three places and would last another 50,000 miles. Two months later and my transmission stops working because of a leak which damages the transmission and they now say I need a whole new transmission. My warranty for the previous work is meaningless and I'm now supposed to pay them $5000 after I already dropped $1900 on the first "fix." Never going back!

Don't bother making an appointment since apparently they are not honored. Dropped the car off at 0750 for an 8am appointment came back at 0935 (plenty of time for 4 new tires to be put on balanced and ready to roll) my car had not even been started on. Why bother making an appointment with this type of service. I know everyone's time is just as valuable as mine but it's more than a little ridiculous that 95 minutes after appointment time and still not started. This is why we don't use tire discounters. We try to keep our business local but not car care anymore. We will go elsewhere.

I dropped my car off on Friday evening for a 0730 appointment on Saturday to have 4 new tires put on my suv. The envelope that I put my keys in asked for a pick up time. I wrote 1030 thinking that was sufficient time. I arrived the next day at 1100 to be told that they had not even started. I was extremely upset as I had been dropped off by relatives and they were already gone. I asked why they didn’t honor appointment times and the manager stated that they normally do. I had to get someone else to come get me then return later. I again stated my unhappiness with this poor service and the manager gave me 5 ten dollar gift cards. However, when I got home and looked closely, they weren’t true gift cards as you could only use 1 per visit. This was my first time going here as I usually go to Tire Discounters. I spent $900 on tires and this was how I was treated. Unfortunately, my tires came with 3free oil changes, so I will return for that. However, I do not recommend this place and will never go back again.Ginger Love

I took my '01 Camry here to be worked on and the staff is very friendly and quick. My whole family now takes their vehicles here to get an oil change and the like. Also run in and get movie tickets in a very convenient location as it is by the Walmart!

My mom and I were out for the day running errands and she had a sudden puncture in tire. It was leaking fast. We pulled into Bob Sumeral and they took great care of us. The tire was fixed and we were back on the road within 30 mins. Excellent customer service and would highly recommend the guys at Bob Sumeral in Aurora for any of your vehicle repair needs!

I go here often and have used many of their services such as picking up booklets when going on vacation, purchasing discounted tickets to Greendale Cinema, replacing a dead battery in my car, having a replacement key made and having my son's vehicle towed. The staff are always courteous, friendly and professional and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for service.
