I love going to home depot except for one thing. Checking out! Please get normal checkouts so you don't have to use that stupid hand scanner on everything! The hand scanner is OK for larger items but is downright cumbersome on everything else.

They didn't have the exact toilet seat I wanted in stock but they actually had a similar one for a buck less and I found everything else pretty easy. Not wait at checkout either. Only complaint is the hardware section is kind of lacking. But that's ok Doit's got what I need I just didn't want to make the extra stop.

We were there this past weekend to buy a new range. We go there often as it’s the closest to our home. This time the employees couldn’t have cared less, nor could they even be bothered to acknowledge that we existed, even after asking for assistance in appliances. After asking three separate employees for assistance, we were promptly ignored. We left and tried two other Home Depot locations in Ft Wayne thinking they would be better, wrong. The employees at two other locations were much the same, either too preoccupied with their phones, gabbing like school girls too busy to be bothered, or just immediately ignored us. Went to Lowe’s and got a better deal on the range we were looking to buy.

The return policy is horrible. I used to buy almost everything I needed from HD. I'd even pay more because I valued their integrity. Not any more. I am pretty much done shopping HD in store or online.You can't return much anymore. Different prices online vs in store vs contractor desk. I'm guessing someone decided to change the return policies and stock less in store to force higher priced items online that you can't return when they are as described or broken.

This store is horrid. They marked plywood at $9.60 each and proceed to try and charge $55 each. (I was only buying 5 sheets) I was confronted with an angry associate and a manager that told me "it's just how things are labeled". This is illegal and will be reported to the state Attorney General. I spend thousands a year in this store. I will be happily driving to Lowe's in Fort Wayne going forward. (Nothing labeled with price above or below at the time I was there also)

Auburn Home Depot typically has the items we need in a pinch when we are doing home projects. We’ve ran to Home Depot several times a day on more than one occasion getting supplies that we’ve needed.The kids workshop is also great to do on the first Saturday of the month. If you miss the kids workshop, they usually have the kids kits in hand for the first week, just ask the customer service staff.The home & garden section has a great selection of plants. However, I wish they would get a better selection of hanging house plants. They keep getting golden pothos. Yes, they are gorgeous. But we want some other types & varieties.The staff is always helpful & kind. You can find an associate just about in every aisle you turn. The store is clean, so are the restrooms.

This place totally sucks. They were showing merchandise at this location and they didn't have any. Then I had to listen to associates bad mouth me. I will never ever go to auburn for anything. Coldwater is so much better. I would close the auburn store, if that way it is going to be ran!!!!!

Great deals on Milwaukee tools. Had a large variety of tools that fit the same battery.Had a bit of a pushy sales guy muscle in to take credit for my tool selections to get a free lunch..Needed a drill and accessories and he suggested an air compressor... suggested the 62.00 varabit... try talking me out of carbon bits... Been drilling since he was a sparkle in someone's eye...Whatever. Found what I really needed. Glad he got lunch on me.

Called twice yesterday with questions about a garage door replacement panel, sent me to that department, the guy that answered said he “was currently to busy with other people and will call back” he never called back i called in two more times today just for them to once again send me to said department while i sat on hold for 5-10 minutes each time for the phone to be picked up an then they hung up immediately. I never leave reviews, horrible customer service at the auburn location though dang.

I can only give them one star. Tried to buy a pallet of top soil. Associate told me to tell cashier what I needed and he would come out and load my purchase. After three trips to the cashier and she couldn't find the topsoil after getting brand and sku. I will take my business elsewhere.

We love this Home Depot in auburn!! Everyone is so accommodating & eager to help. We’ve been there several times in the last few months & would rather drive there to that location Vs the one just done the road from us. Nothing like a small town! Much better selection of items as well!!

We recently ordered a Maytag gas range to be delivered March 25,2023. The delivery guys opened the box outside and had me come out to look at it. It had a dent in the side near the bottom and it was peeled a little. They suggested that I call the 800 number. I did and they offered either a discount or a replacement which would be delivered in three weeks because of Easter. They also said when the new one is delivered to call them immediately to discuss a compensation for the inconvenience.On April 15th by 10AM I had not received a call about a delivery time so I called them. Delivery was scheduled between 11AM-3pm. Okay. The delivery guys arrived about 11AM, opened the box and had me come out to look at the range. The second one had an even bigger dent in it!! Again ,I called the 800 number. Was told that they could send a replacement or offer a discount. Now I'm annoyed because I have done this two times sitting and waiting on a Saturday only to be disappointed. I asked what kind of discount to which they replied "$150 is the most that I can offer" . What? I said what about a replacement and the discount? They said that they couldn't do that. Ridiculous! I have wasted my time waiting on them only to have both items delivered damaged. Weeks in between deliveries!! I would not recommend them or use them again. Very disappointing.

Delivery is a disaster! Scheduled on 5/11 for a 5/17 delivery of 22 plants. Can't give you a time and you must be present; was told they would arrive between 6 AM-6PM. At 8:11 AM received a text delivery couldn't be made as no one was home. We have a ring doorbell and that didn't happen. He didn't call or text us, either. Confirmed both numbers we had placed on the order. Called the store and was rescheduled for 5/18. Sat in front of the living room window since 6 AM. At 9 AM, called store to confirm we'd get the delivery today. Was told driver would do that and he was on his rounds. At 10:01 AM got an email and text that driver couldn't deliver. Called store and was told that he couldn't deliver because he never loaded the plants. Can't explain why were were told an hour earlier that he would deliver today. I would think the items for delivery would be checked before they depart. How do you miss 22 large plants?! Our adult kid warned us about her horrible experience with delivery last month. Should have listened to her and rented a truck.

Just like so many other posts you see we had ridiculous issues with our “delivery and installation “ We had a washer and dishwasher being delivered and installed. 3 men on the truck and the lead of the 3 says the dishwasher won’t fit don’t even take it in. After him just being outright rude to us, they left with both our new and old dishwasher. FYI heights between the two were 1/8”. Home Depot apologized emphatically to my wife and assured her they would be out first thing Tuesday morning to make things right. Of course then we get the call this morning to say that they apologize again but they can’t deliver today. Home Depot customer service has gone to crap………..

They need to hire people who know about the dept. items they are in but I suppose they don't pay enough. The workers are friendly and try to help with what knowledge they have but often don't know or are wrong.

I quit shopping at Home Depot 15 yrs ago after going on a 2 week family vacation and being 10 days late on payment. They raised my interest rate to 24%!! I paid off my card and quit shopping there.I recently bought a dishwasher on sale and had it delivered. Never once did the sale person tell me that it did NOT include the cord to plug it in or the attachments for the water line. I scheduled my plumbing company to install a dishwasher missing parts. It cost me 95$ to have Gibsons come out for no reason!!! Now I have no dishwasher and my old one was taken by delivery team!!! I AM DONE with Home Depot permanently!!!!

Beware! I would give no stars if possible. HD doesn’t allow returns for store credit without receipts. Bought over $5k of building material for new addition and can’t return 50ft of wire unopened. I guess I will finish the other $15k of the addition from Menards. It worth the drive to be treated like a customer.

I have been purchasing Misc. job supplies for my Roofing Business quite a bit the last while here, and they have a nice selection of stuff and are very convenient place with friendly staff! Would highly recommend!

Prices are too high and they didn't want to help at the checkout. All these retailers keep trying to get me to do their job. Hire some help and take care of your customers.
