I'm not gonna lie as a friend of a former employee, things have gone down hill and it's because of the store manager and her (the manager's) behavior towrds the employees. I mean she (my friend) thought she still had a job with the company untill today. When she was told differently, she hadn't been called and told that she'd had been let go, no letter, nothing. It was very unprofessional and it hurt her quite a bit; I mean she was there for 3 years! The associates are great and friendly and helpful. It felt like family to her. I'm really sad to see how much it's changed in just a single year because of the store manager Kim, at the location in Angola, IN

A good place to get clothes, hardware, tools, BBQ supplies, food, and other items. Sometimes you can find good deals on things that are marked down..

We were able to purchase what we needed in this store today. The price of jeans and work clothes are very reasonable in this store.However, I was very concerned regarding the conditions in which the rabbits were living in.Rabbits need access to Timothy hay at all times for proper dietary health. They had none.The Rabbits should have access to food. These Rabbits had none.Rabbits should not be kept in a wire bottom cage unless they have a rubber mat or bedding under their feet. They had none.This is cruel and neglectful.The staff at this store should know better.I contacted Rural King corporate customer service regarding this.The Rabbits at this Rural King location are not receiving proper care.

The staff are mostly rude. Each time you go there, there’s a solid chance you hear one talk down or yell at another as well. None of them but maybe one lady who’s super nice acts like they want to be there. Wish I could remember her name because she should be the model of how employees should be

Great place for clothes and toys! I take my kids here just to walk around and look at the chicks 🐥 and 🐇 rabbits. Also to eat some free popcorn 🍿

Dallas was very informative and had great follow through with tractor parts. Got the quick release tractor attachment I needed quickly and at a phenomenal price. I'll be using this store for more RK 24 tractor parts. Thanks!

Really starting to go downhill. They used to carry YETI thermos. Ask Manager. He said he stopped caring them because they cost 10x the price of the Lincoln's that they carry now and they were only making $2 off their sale. And they make $4 on the Lincoln's and they cost the consumer less. I said but the Yetis don't leak. He said either do the Lincoln's. When we paid for the Lincoln's we poured a purchased drink in at at the counter and put the lid on and turned it upside down it leaked all over their counter.we called the manager up to call him out. He didn't offer a return and simply stated "Oh I thought you meant the seal"! What😣 Should've kept the Yetis I as many consumers would rather pay more and get quality. Plus he shouldn't share the company's profits and losses with the consumer. UPDATE..3 YEARS LATER. NOTHINGS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER. RUAL KING IS NOT FOR COUNTRY FOLK BUT FOR HILLBILLIES!!

I always enjoy a wander in Rural king, be it the endless supply or the live animals... probably more the animals. In all honesty though the store makes for a nice stop. With a complimentary snack, better pricing that other local stores (on some items), and staff that know how to make you laugh and brighten your day It always makes for a fun stop on my list of stores when errand running.

It is a good place for most purchases, but I had a problem trying to buy a firearm. After a month and no one called one way or another, I bought one at a different place and only waited a couple of days.

Every time I go here the fishing section is a disaster. The prices displayed are never correct, the clearance isn't marked AT ALL. I asked for assistance and waited in the aisle for a good 10 minutes, no one showed up.

The store has improved. Lots more lighting. They have a new Stihl display very nice. Very helpful associate. Older gentlemen didn't get his name. He registered our purchase for us and started it to make sure it works . We have been looking for a blower/vacuum combine all last year. No one had one. We didn't want electric this was a gas.

I watched an employee, stick her hands in the popcorn from the back and eat from it. I called her out and she just said "yeah" I reported it to the manager. He said it would take care of it.

Disappointed in customer service. We drove to this Rural King location from Michigan to buy something that the stores website said they had in stock. When we finally asked somebody for help finding it, we were laughed at and told that if we don’t see it it probably isn’t here. Employees should have a system in place to actually HELP people find what they’re looking for. The most disappointing part is that this specific locations store said they had it in stock and I wasn’t able to find it. Definite waste of time.

The pricing for some things is a little high, but that just seems to be how it is lately at a lot of places.My daughter loves going here with her dad and grandpa. They go here frequently.Last I knew there was also help if you needed product loaded into your vehicle.

Love the store, good luck finding someone to help you with a purchase. Walked two laps around store trying to find help. Then when I did all I got was excuse and no help. There two days in a row trying to buy birds. No help either day. Left without purchase.

I always come here to get the oil for my car because you have the best prices in town. I found some really cute items that would make excellent Christmas gifts for my family. Hope their still there this weekend.

King is an excellent place to shop for a lot of your needs they have almost everything except you know fresh produce and frozen foods but otherwise they've got clothes and animal feed and tractors and just everything and the associates are so pleasant and helpful if you haven't been there yet you've got to check it out they've got all different kinds of canned and Jarred food and soda pops. Just a wonderful place to check out to see what all they do have
