The only improvement I would like to see there is a laundry room and perhaps updated shower heads. But the property was clean, the staff were super nice, and there's plenty of room to back into any spot. There was a 24 hour laundry mat not far from the Walmart in town. So I got to hit both of those bobtail. My dog loved all the grass at the loves, most only have little strips behind the trucks. I'm doing a 34 and have absolutely no complaints.

They wasted an hour of my time, sat in line for a shower using the app, but they didn't shut off showrrs on the app. The correct course of action is for the store manager to contact their corporate office and have them disable showers on the app so truck drivers don't waste their time. From the perspective of a driver who uses the app, there's no way to know that the showers are down unless you go into the store and ask. I would like to ask for some kind of corrective action be taken.

This is the only time I'm ever rating Love's truck stops and I'll tell anyone reading why following. This rating could be picked up by corporate and just cut and pasted into every Love's in the Midwest and East Coast and it would apply. I'll also promise that when I go to a new one, you'll get a detailed review and comparison to the 5 star Midwest Love's. I really can't remember how nationwide Love's is but my first Love's stop was in 1994 with my dad. We often traveled the country in the semi delivering the goods and when you're traveling with a passenger, you go to the good spots so you know she's safe. That's Love's. Dad was a truck driver so I grew up knowing all the good truck stops. Back in the day, we didn't have Google ratings but Love's has been getting 5 stars since the start. That's not the start of google that the start of the biz and its older than the internet. I don't know about the company personally, but after 30 years of happy freaking gas station people, you gotta think Love's is a good company to work for. They always say hi when they see you come in, and that isn't just to deter theft, they actually paid attention when you walked in the door!Did you know you can take a shower if you're on a long road trip? You can. They have great deli sections now so you don't just have to have bagged snacks and donuts, you can get a sandwich or fruit also. I will say that a long time ago these places always had a traditional type restaurant attached but that is really a thing of the past in the whole country. That type of biz just doesn't do well anymore so the door was wide open for franchises to attach to these and that's fine. Hardee's, Subway and the like are available at all Love's stops, I believe, but if not the deli snacks are plentiful.Anyway, it doesn't matter what location off the side of the highway as long as that sign is yellow with the trademark red heart, just go there guys.

Love the staff at #551 Angola,IN! 3rd shifts Kathy, Brad, Jimmy, love you like family!! Thank you to ALL STAFF ON ALL SHIFTS! This stores clean, inside and out since I started coming several months ago! Hot showers, dog park, but No laundry on site gives 1 less star! Great Mac n cheese and a 24hr Hardee's!

Just checked my truck into the shop at 8am on a Tuesday. There's 3-4 guys standing around, eating donuts, talking shop. Nobody moves to help me. I have to wait for a shop worker, and I guess the shop manager (Andrew) to finish their conversation before he acknowledges me and asks what I need. I tell him I need trailer tire replaced (outside rear tire). His response (in a tone that seems to me like he wants me to go somewhere else) is "ok but it's gonna take a couple of hours"What!?!why?? There's 3 guys standing around doing nothing, who continued to stand around doing nothing even as I left. There's no trucks being serviced in the bays, I'm waiting here half an hour already and still no trucks being pulled in. Why do I have to wait 2hrs before I can even pull in for a simple tire replacement?? There's obviously something wrong here. The google reviews about the shop service and staff are horrible (also not responded to or acknowledged by Loves), and I guess here's another one.

Clean store and showers.whise bright idea was it to have the dumpster on the top by the "human" parking lot and not one down by the diesel islands? I just saw an employee pushing a dump cart up hill. Crazy.

Semi Parking Lot Trash Cans do not appear to have been emptied in quite a long time. They are overfilled & overflowed all over the ground & trash is scattering everywhere. Diesel fuel islands & concrete walkways are absolutely filthy. Overall, outside maintenance isn't lacking it's nonexistent.

The showers have 2 temperatures. Freezing, and cold. I complained about it when I got out and was told they had to turn the temp down because someone burnt their mangina. Hope it was worth it, everyone else has to suffer now. I've seriously been swimming in lakes and rivers that had warmer water. It was really uncomfortable. Not worth $18

Used to be my go to gas station. Why they decided to leave untrained people at the counter alone who have clearly never worked a shift before in the morning is beyond me. I'll spend my money some where else that actually wants it.

Loves Angola, Indiana..... Filthy fuel pumps & islands. Obviously this place (like many) never bother to pressure wash the Fuel Island areas. Why? Is my question. Even the Asphalt is disgustingly greasy.! Not a fan of negligence like this & No excuse for it.!

Went in for a trailr tire, abs light and tire inflation leak. Got the tires. Abs was not checked because it came back on going down road. Inflation system got a new T. It also was caped to the first axel. So it would leak(not fixed. Got to another location that night. They just want the easy money and not get their hands to dirty. Manager says the notes say it was fixed. Don't use this shop.

Customer service was decent and for that, the one star. However, the salads in the cooler had not been visually checked as I purchased 2 that were inedible. Pics provided. Also, there were pkgs of chicken that were not expiration date tagged as other Loves do. At my mentioning of this, only one was located with a tag that would be expiring the following day. The manager on staff at the time spoke to the employee over my head as if I was not there and he did not bother to apologize or see if any in the back were dated. Poor management, and lacking of leadership skill from him were quite apparent. Doubt I will stop at this Loves again.

Walked into the Loves garage tonight, just to talk to one of the guys in there. There were two on duty that I saw. I needed to get a trailer tire changed, and just wanted to find out how long the wait might be, or even if they could work me in. There was only one truck and trailer in the bay. The other bay was empty. I ask if they had a minute, and they ignored me. I waited there for a bit, and both guys just walked around me like I wasn’t there. I guess they didn’t want my business. I’ve never had that happen at Loves, or any other place for that matter.

Met someone here to make a Facebook Marketplace deal, we were meeting halfway. Gas cost slightly more here than surrounding gas stations, but not horrible. Good selection on drinks, snacks and other random trip items. Store was clean, and laid out in a seemingly organized fashion. Card reader failed when I tried to check out. Cashier tried the other one and it worked.

Not impressed, all the garbage cans are overloaded there was even black garbage bags loaded on the side of the gas pumps, the pump handles have diesel fuel all over them, and the windshield washer solvent was just straight water hard to get the windows clean with that. I'm giving it three stars because the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Charged me to cash a check even though I got 130 gallons of fuel and 11 gallons of DEF as well as cat scale.. it was a $548.00 check.. they said the amount voided cashing free.. I had another for 200.00 but they said they would not cash it..

LOVES, your mechanic workers are costing your company a whole lot of money. Truckers are the legitimate reason the company is a very sucessful nationwide corporation and if you continously hire, Rude and slouchy mechanics, i can only pray.. SATURDAY 01/21/2023 directly at 1:00 p.m. was a really rude mechanic on shift. He rejected service with my fiance and I for absolutely no reason or explanation at all. My fiance is a very nice and respectful person, and as he pulled into the bay (you all can watch on cameras directly at that time 01/21/2023) the mechanic- kind of heavy, caucasion;with a reddish like beard, aggressively snapped because he did not want to be at work. He claimed to the police which were called after he threw his clipboard and rejected the service that my fiance's trailer was about to hit the building, but it was only a bit crooked! We didnt have to pull up no further.He was really really rude, please check your mechanics who are a representation of your company. That is not a good way to talk to the ones who keep the business going all year around. They are turning down company money because of their emotions. Please take heed into this message, Loves.God bless!

Literally drove here on purpose so so i could get fuel, a shower and DO MY LAUNDRY!!! so that i could wear something clean. NO LAUNDRY MACHINES HERE!!! wish i make my 430$ fuel purchase elsewhere. Lady at counter said they are old ( built 10 years ago ) umm 🤔 people required clean attire 10 years ago maam. So you have had 10 years of complaints and still havent installed laundry machines ???👍🤔 Umm ok

If you are handicapped or a disabled trucker dont expect to be able to make it into the loves building. Theres no ramp only stairs. Also dont shower here. The showers are clean but the hot water lasts for about a minute then it gets extremely cold

Dirty, mice running freely while they laugh about it, do not honor posted pricing, stained towels and wash clothes, and very unfriendly!Think twice about stopping at this location or eating here. If you can make it to the US 20 bypass, stop at the Goshen/Elkhart location.

Stopped her for gas and find there were only three squeegees for all eight gas pumps, but that didn’t matter because all the buckets were bone dry. The trash cans were overflowing. Then of course the pump didn’t print out my receipt so I had to waste time going inside and standing inline for it.This is one of the worst Love’s that I’ve stopped at.
