This place is absolutely terrible. First off the smell is absolutely terrible. When you walk in, the employees make you feel uncomfortable. The older lady in the store actually stated, she was going to "whip" the bearded dragon for making a mess. None of the animals are properly taken care, many appear to be dehydrated, many had no water available to them or their was absolutely filthy. None of the species which require UVB had any sort of UVB available to them. The owner has 4 tortoises in a 10x10 enclosure with only one heat lamp, and no UVB available to them. Many of the snakes have scales peeling, and you can easily tell it is entirely to dry. Not going to even get into the issues with their alligator.I do not recommend this store at all, spend your money elsewhere.

Went to buy crickets because he was the only one in town that has them and when I asked how long they live so I know how many to buy he got angry and said I don’t know it doesn’t matter. So when I called someone to ask how many to get he got even angrier and kick me out after saying hes the only one with crickets so have fun I pleaded for my animals sake and he still refused. The doesn’t make for a good pet store owner very cruel to animals so I would not recommend him to anyone…back alley snake salesman

Let the alligator go!!!! He doesn’t deserve to be locked up like that. It’s disgusting in that habitat, small, sad and has been the same since I can remember. Let him have a life beyond your sad petshop!!!!

I love animals and especially cats. It broke my heart seeing this little one. The guy working there picked it up and handed it to me and it started meowing like it was in pain and it’s eyes were so bad, and he told me he couldn’t sell it bc it was sick (the medicine is $4 for a big tube which could be used over 20 times.) and then he proceeded to take his thumb and what looked to me tried getting the eye stuff off it’s eye very hardly and it made me cry. & they had dirty water & the small animals didn’t have any water.

I pulled up 10 mins before there closed and they were closed already I tried calling and couldn't get a awnser when I pulled up I literally watched a customer walk out the door so dude literally locked the door knowing I was in the parking lot that's not how you do good business

We got this puppy just over a month ago and was able to get her in the vet visit today.She is having seizures that is lasting a couple of hours. The vet said that it might be in the brain if so we'll have to put her down treatment will cost thousands. We have one more test to check. I called the store and ask if the other puppies that was in her litter had any proplems. He said not that he heard of it was a little passed my 30 day warranty. So they didn't offer anything and I asked him about the breeder and they couldn't tell me. We had to put our other dog down a year ago she was 13 so it took us a year to get another one. Now we're probably going to put this beautiful girl down. Thanks for letting us down emotionaly

all the animals there are treated poorly, and that poor alligator that’s been trapped in that tiny room, with no room to move, he sticks his head in the little window trying to get all the sunlight he can, such a poor quality of life, hope the owner gets his karma for just being money hungry and not caring about the animals.

The animals are very poorly taken care of in this establishment. The workers are either uneducated on the needs of each animal or don’t care about their needs. The gator is in way too small of an enclosure, as are many of the snakes. The catfish is in too small of an aquarium with no lighting. There are dying fish in poorly kept aquariums, and if you know how these animals behave normally, you can clearly tell that many of them are unhealthy and unhappy. Many reptiles have no hides or cool spots. It was just very sad. I only got one picture of this large python in a 55 gal. Please look into each animals’ individual needs!!!

Bought a Great Dane puppy from a man that worked there and got a paper that said she had her shots and stuff but come to find out she had parvo and our bull mastiff died as a result from it. I will now only be purchasing feeder crickets from there never again will I buy an animal from them.

With a very sad heart I had to put down my new puppy Bear he had congestive heart failure. He would of only been 4 months old on the 24.I bought him at Night Stalkers in Anderson. I had no idea they are known for selling sick puppies. My heart hurts so bad.

Ever since the new owner took over the animals seem to be taken care of very well ..... he is very personable and tries to get to know his repetitive customers. I'm in there once a week to get rats for my snakes and now I don't even need to tell him the sizes I need! Which is no offense, way better than the previous owner ever attempted!!

We went last year and I will say I was very disappointed. The animals are in very small enclosures not to mention the large croc they have that is in a very small enclosure. They also breed puppies making me believe they’re back yard breeders as well as had a single kitten last time we were there with gunky eyes screaming for attention and one of the workers just said “ do you want kittens, maybe I should breed them”

They have an abundance of feeder mice and their snakes are well handled and fed. He has many different morphs and not just snakes. He has moniters and fish of all kinds. He has dogs and cats, he has tourists, and even ferrets. He's got a huge variety of animals, many you can't find at a PetSmart.

This is not a company that cares about animals. They sell sick pups from puppy Mills, the picture of the snake on their website, is way too big for the cage. The alligator does not have a sufficient amount of space to live comfortably. Just that in itself shows they don't care about animals, only money. They will not invest in better enclosures for their animals. They will sell you a sick dog, you take them to court, and they have pictures from your fb page, which they stalked. Maybe that's what the stalker part is about. This is a get rich quick business, so don't line their pockets.

I guess I could say I am conflicted on what to rate this place. 2 of my cats and one of my dogs came from here. I bought a kitten a few years ago, came home with fleas and no paperwork/documentation or anything. They misbreeded our dog after being certain that he was a certain breed. Nonetheless, I continue to go back because I think it’s a cute place and they have cute animals that aren’t very expensive. My brother and I went in a couple months ago and got a kitten and I have no complaints. Kinda unprofessional but I can’t say it really bothers me.Izod is also a plus! So cute but I do wonder if he had enough space - I don’t know much about reptiles.

Super friendly people I have quite a few animals from them all are super healthy and reasonably priced they even rescued my snake after an accident and they treat her like a queen. Prices may be more in comparison to large chains, but know the price difference is well worth it when you get an animal there. Super clean and cool place to go.

Animals didn't even have bare minimum care. All are in tiny, cramped and purely disgusting enclosures. Feeder rodents are sickly looking, crammed into tiny glass tanks with no air flow, lots of them have injuries. Poor baby Savannah Monitors being kept on wood shavings and nothing else (these are burrowing animals that require high humidity and temperatures of 125F+).... deplorable. Disgusting. Please don't shop here, I honestly don't know how it is open.

I was looking for a puppy for weeks I didn't get the collie I wanted cause some one got both of them the day before I was going to get one which it all worked out cause I ended up get a Yorkie mixed. The workers were awesome they let us take them out for a bit to makersure we pick the right to one. They gave us information on food, collers . Even told us about shots were to go to get the rest of them and chipped. I was so happy I went and got his bother puppy .my son got a dog there and they recommend us to go there. So for all the bad reviews don't judge them theY sale amazing animals I'd recommend them to anyone. And they do giveI've a 5 day garrent as long as you take em to vet and either give money back or put it on another puppy thank you for our perfect dogs

No B.S. review: One of the few, and I mean few, family operated businesses. Always knowledgeable about all things pet related, and on point pricing. Live Feeder mice are in stock when all the others are out. And the lizards, snakes, and the huge alligator are always cool to see. Family friendly, children certified (by me anyway) because they talk to my kids like little people, instead of ignoring them like big time businesses.

How does one legally have an alligator in that small of an enclosure to begin with? Puppies in small cages with just shavings. No food. No water. The whole place in general is disgusting. Owner was rude. I cannot comprehend how they are open.

They are very nice and helpful people at night stalkers. I go there every week to get my snakes food. My 2 yr daughter loves to walk around and look at everything. They do not seem to mind. They always have a smile with a good service here.

Filthy! I wanted to do was rescue them all ! 2 ball pythons in same tank with pine shavings and heating lamp. Ball Pythons are Not "basking" snakes... they thrive with heating pads and somewhere to curl up.My daughter and I went in to purchase FISH. I would estimate 40-60 tanks and they were all filthy, as in, pop covered, floating dead, algae ridden disgusting. Several tanks with no lights. I checked the water in 3 tanks and they were cold. It's just sad. The Alligators water was not even high enough for it to submerge itself. 4- 20 yr old tortoise in an area no larger than 6x6.Who regulates these places ?? Who do you call to fine them for inhumane living conditions ? In my, animal loving, opinion... this place should be shut down immediately.

This place is disgusting! These animals are not being properly care for! the new owner Jason got mad every time I shared correct information about animals. they believe it's correct to cohab every animal in there. they give incorrect information about food, heat and general care for all the animals. the rats and mice are in tiny tanks with over 100 rodents per tank, not enough food or water so they eat eachother. and a DEPLORABLE alligator enclosure. That was so cruel. they sell kittens and puppies that are 3 to 6 weeks old (way too young!) and still nursing but only give them hard food. This place is just neglecting and abusing animals.

This store is not only awful, but immoral. Too small enclosures, improper substrate, insufficient light, and deformed reptiles due to complete lack of UVB light. The stench of filthy cages is overwhelming. Disgusting environment and husbandry.

Not sure how to ask the owner a question, we just moved here not long ago and was looking for something different and went here but was greeted with a sign that says no kids? are kids allowed inside? We were was going to inside whenever we were looking for a bearded dragon, iguana, uromastyx or tortise Buuut there was a sign on the door that said no kids allowed, so we left, I always have my four yearold and 1 year old with me and I didn’t want to disrespect their rules, could anyone clarify?

Don't know what else to say. Read all of the 1 star reviews. They will tell you all you need to know. The 5 stars are probably family and friends, or people whole don't care about the welfare of their animals. Most of Anderson wants this business to be shut down, but no authorities will pursue anything.
