AMAZING! I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. They are all so caring and compassionate. Starting right at the front desk and all the way through! We had to put our 11 year old Siberian Husky, Maliki to sleep and they were so great through the whole process. They even let us stay there all day from 10a-5p because we just wanted to spend a little more time with him..Every.Single.Person. In this building while we were there I am soooo thankful for. Some of them even came in his room, sat with him on the floor and cried over him. I’ve never seen that at any vet place I’ve been. They truly care about you and your fur baby. They don’t treat you like you’re just a number. Such a sad sad day but they gave him the best treatment on his last day in this world. Thank you all so very much for being there for us like you were. I could never say thank you enough for being so compassionate and accommodating ❤️

We cannot thank Dr Peacock and the staff at Alexandria Animal Hospital enough for the sincere compassion they extended to us when it was time to put our beloved Boots to sleep. This is probably the hardest part of being a pet owner. Although our hearts were breaking we did not feel we were carrying the burden alone.

Took our bulldog puppy there for skin and eye check. Facility was clean and the staff was wonderful! Everyone was nice and the doctor was very patient and helpful. We got our medications and a follow up appointment. Our puppy is already better because the doctor did the proper test for the correct diagnosis.We will be staying at this office.Oh and the price was great too!!

Alexandria Animal Hospital has been the absolute best to our girls. Dr. Chastain, Dr. Peacock, and all staff have been more than amazing. They are so thorough, communicate incredibly well, and give you the best honest advice there is! We couldn't be more thankful for our experience with them and will forever use this facility as our preferred clinic.

Called in with an almost emergency for our cat. I was instructed to call and pay $65 to poison control. This place refused to give any helpful advice for our cat. They didn’t have any availability for an emergency visit nor were they willing to make room for one if it was needed. They didn’t even have a veterinarian/tech available to provide us with any information. This place made it clear money over care and that the wellbeing of our pet didn’t matter. Luckily I found 2 other vets that were willing to give helpful advice over the phone for our cat without charging us. We always want to make sure that our cat has the best care and this place was a huge red flag. I am so glad that I cancelled with them altogether and found a better vet. I don’t recommend this place at all for the care of pets. I would highly recommend going to the Elwood Animal Hospital instead. They truly care about all pets and will put your pets care first. Elwood went above and beyond for my cat which I am incredibly grateful for. Not only did they provide me honest thorough advice from a veterinarian without any upfront charges, they were also willing to make room to see my cat immediately for an emergency visit if it was needed. That’s how it should be!

We had an emergency with our dog on Christmas Eve and Dr. Chastain was able to take of our Bruno and stitch him up and provide him with appropriate care that he needed and bring us piece of mind in a dire time of need. Thank you Dr. Chastain.

I have been going to Alexandria Animal Hospital now for a little over a year maybe a little longer, anyway I absolutely love the service and loving care they give Sabrina. They seem to really care for your pet. I am so happy I found them. Thank you everyone that works there.

I called Monday to this office, they were able to get my sons cat in the same day. From the girls answering the phones to a short wait in the waiting room to getting my sons cat taken care and checking out each staff member was so helpful and pleasant. I have two cats of my own and this will be the office I use from now on.

We took our cat here for the first time to get examined because she had been sick and lethargic. The vet tech (can’t remember name) was so great. She asked questions that seemed like she genuinely was trying to make sure everything was covered. Dr. Peacock came in and discussed what has been happening with our cat with us. He also listened when we spoke and seemed very genuine as well!! We will definitely be going back! Very affordable compared to previous vet we were using.

We have been taking our furkids to Alexandria Animal Hospital since we moved here 8 years ago. Both Dr. Chastain and Dr. Phelps have been wonderful, friendly and professional. The staff is fantastic. When our GSD, Sassy, developed an aggressive cancer and had to be euthanized, they were so kind and caring. When we recently took our cat for her annual check up, she wasn’t the least bit anxious while Dr. Chastain examined her.

Loved Dr. I Phelps she explains things very well and is very understanding that your pet is very precious to you. She is a great caring vet. The staff is very friendly and helpful with your pet and their comfort. Would recommend this veterinary to anyone who treasures their pets.

I've been going there for 5 years a little doggy he is doing good and they do everything that you all the exams and everything's right there in the house and give you all the pain stuff you need to know. They will give you an upfront price on everything so that you don't have to wait so you can make your own meinl what you do.

The staff was extremely nice! The doctor and the tech were very informative and I felt very comfortable having Lucy there. I felt like they really cared about her. I had to put my dog of 13 years down in March. They were very kind and respectful.
