I went to buy meat. The chicken I got was rancid likely from being left out far too long. I was disappointed at the girl behind the counters lack of judgement and that instead of being honest and throwing it out, she gave me bad raw meat. I will no longer be buying meat here. Hopefully they get this fixed before someone gets really sick from eating bad meat.

Great place to get freshly made Amish products from Grabil country sales of the best little neighborhood grocery stores there are I love to have these. I think we should get rid of all the Walmarts and Myers and Kroger‘s and go back to the way things used to be with the neighborhood, grocery stores, I just love the feel of going back in time 30 years 40 years and having a butcher actually grab my meat for me giggity giggity goo

I am so glad that Viking Foods is back to its former level of quality. In fact, the produce selection is better than ever! The new owner and staff are obviously working very hard to correct mistakes made by the last couple of owners. Kudos to all for their efforts! It's great to have a good local store to go to!

Very nice for a small town, and even better when it comes to their meat selection. They have very nice fresh meat. But something even better is their donuts. I would travel 800 miles to get their donuts, I don't know how they do it but they are so soft a full of flavor.

We had two turkeys prepared by Viking Foods for our family Thanksgiving Day - 34 guests attended! We also received the broth to make gravy and keep the meat moist in the warmer throughout the meal. The turkey was FANTASTIC! Not only was it well flavored, but it had also been cut in excellent portions for serving. Several people asked what recipe I had used - and I had to give full credit to your business! We are so happy to have planned for some leftovers so we have been able to enjoy it after the rest of the family headed home! Thank you for your excellent service!

Update: we bought a few of the home made donuts. Delicious! Big, soft and moist.AMAZING MEAT from deli! Best ever! Had the smoked pork chops and ground beef!

For a small-town grocery, Viking is a charm with competitive prices, good selection, and an amazing meat department. Personalized service and friendly staff are the standard here. Old fashioned assistance getting your purchases to your car is standard. Highly recommend! I understand that the owner is thinking about retiring and the business is for sale. I sincerely hope the new owners, whoever that may be, will embrace the community and carry on the quality and service we have come to expect here.

I'm disappointed how high their prices are. I love to support a small business when I can, but I cant afford to here especially with a dollar general less then a mile away :( . I will say their deli department is typically pretty good

The store shelves are getting emptier all the time hardly and meat in the meat case very little produce. I'm not sure what is going on here but they are not up to the quality store that used to be here. I have shopped at that store since I was 5 years old 50 some years and It's not in very good condition as far as stocking or service very disappointing for customers to see .

The selection of products was good . but Prices are too high on alot items. And serving sizes seem smaller . Deli meats are worth every dime $$& service is great . bakery food is always fresh . or reduced if not .

I love having a hometown grocer. Vikings has the best meat selection and their bacon is especially good (even better is their chorizo when it is available).Support your local businesses, it is critical for those in the community!

Small town grocery store with pretty reasonable prices. The meat department/butcher shop is excellent, though. This is one of the only places I go to buy meat, especially for grilling and smoking.
