We're back at it! After loosing our final car about a year back we didn't know if we wanted to adopted anymore because of the heartbreak. But here we are, once again giving a home to 2 rescue cats. We hauled butt to PetSmart to pick up essentials. What we love most is the large variety of pet foods to choose from based on the specific needs of OUR cats, and the always sweet, kind of quirky staff! Never fails to make us feel warm and fuzzy when we go in. You're about to see a lot of us Yorkville PetSmart, and we're not mad about it.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Took my dog in for a simple bath. Got a call 30 minutes later that my dog was on the way to the vet with a broken tooth and cut tongue. Get to vet my dog was soaking wet, shivering, and covered in poop. Petsmart claims it happened while she was in the kennel and swears she was only in there for a minute. Now my dog has to go see a vetinary dental specialist because her tooth is broke off in half and the root is exsposed. If you care about your pet don't take them here!!!

I had high hopes for the grooming salon because all the groomers I met were so nice. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in their service. When I dropped my puppy off, I was pleasantly surprised that the people in front remembered her from when I brought her for a sanitary trim a few weeks prior. I dropped her off for her appointment and they told me it would probably be 1.5 to 2.5 hours. I specifically told them that I wanted her paw pads shaved and her sanitary area cleaned up some more, even though that's supposed to come with the bath. Also, I told them they could try grinding her nails but didn't know if she'd be okay with it as she doesn't like loud noises. Almost 5 hours later, I did not hear anything from them so I just went back to the store because I was starting to worry. Once they seen me waiting, they brought her out like she was ready to go. They said it took longer because she didn't like the dryer, which is understandable. I loved the little green bow they put in her hair for St. Patrick's day. Once I paid and took her to the car I started looking at her nails. They did not look like they were grinded (which they charged me for) or even cut at all. I called back and asked if they grinded her nails and they said no that they forgot to take it off the bill. They gave me a refund for it, so no harm no fowl. They also did not shave her paw pads at all. So I left my dog there for 5 whole hours and they didn't even shave her paw pads or trim her nails. She also still had burrs in the fur around her butt that I had to brush out when we got home. I don't have any problems with the store itself. I might give the grooming salon another try but with a different groomer. If the quality of service is still bad, I will have to bring my puppy elsewhere.

Drove here for a walk in nail trimming like ive done for years but they closed early or arent open past 5. Associate wasnt sure which one it was. Thanks for wasting my time. Never again.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. They're so patient too! Every time I come here, I feel comfortable going up to an employee if I have a question or if I'm just at the checkout. The store is always clean and very well organized! Needed to make a special food for my sick leopard gecko and they had every item that I needed! Which is pretty nice considering almost half of the stuff I've never even heard of. Very happy with this store :)

Very disappointed in the grooming department. We were thankful they could get us scheduled on short notice. Which is why we went here versus our typical independently owned grooming salon. However, the cut for my bernedoodle is awful. She’s uneven, shaved too rough, splotchy. Plus the price reflects the higher end, independent grooming salon we typically go to. Would not recommend to anyone wanting a quality cut. Our other dog received a bath and furminator treatment. He looks good. So I suppose I would recommend for baths/brushing. Definitely not cuts.

I generally come to this location, staff is always nice to me and helpful. When I ask for 3-4 crickets they never complain, in fact they usually know I have spiders haha. I literally get, Cat, Dog, Fish, Reptile and spider stuff and I always get the help I need. Thankyou! 😊

The only groomer I’m ever going to again is Melanie. They were patient when I forgot my rabies update at home & let me keep the appointment but when I picked my dog up his cut was uneven and I could tell he didn’t like it. He’s usually super happy and he was just down after the last time. If u go here, I only recommend Melanie she knows how to cut Shih tzu/Pomeranian. The lady I had Colleen must have been just starting or something which explains the 2p open slot on a Saturday. I’d go back, but I’m only letting Melanie cut my dog from now on.

We bring our dogs here to be groomed by Samantha and she does an excellent job! She knows her stuff and our dogs love her! They always smell and look great! We get almost all of our pet products here and the floor staff helps whenever we have questions. Their customer service keeps us coming back!

This store has great customer service. We have been coming for a few years now to get my dog’s nails trimmed. They have always done a nice job. Today our car broke down in the parking lot in 90 degree weather, and an employee came and invited us inside while we waited for help. She even got a little bowl of water out for my dog.

It is convenient to have for food and bath supplies,however how they care of their small animals is something I can't get over. They put gerbils in a 5 gal tank if that. So d some if the workers did not know how to properly pick up a gerbil. I would consider pet supply plus or some other smaller chian.

We have a 3 month old puppy and this store has been amazing for us. The staff has been super helpful and friendly with every visit we've made, and the rare times we've had trouble getting something in store, the staff has helped us find the item at another nearby PetSmart. You can tell that the staff here actually loves animals and cares about them. The staff is interactive, considerate, and thoughtful with realistic advice. They are very warm and welcoming to our puppy even with his hyper nature. Definitely recommended.

PetSmart is a great place to shop for all of your pet needs. The staff in Yorkville are very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, the store is well laid out for easy shopping and clean.
