I recently purchased something from this Jewel location which had a quality issue. I reported the problem to the centralized customer service department who is often less than helpful, this encounter was similar. I called and spoke with the store Director, Marie, who was quite friendly as well as helpful. Marie turned the negative experience of mine into a positive.

In the past 2 weeks Jewel has stopped stocking non-dairy ice cream. All of the pint size over priced in gone. A couple of months ago we found that Jewel was stocking a non dairy oat based ice cream by Breyers in the normal Breyers area at the same price. That was great for us. Then the pie filling Jewel stocks is twice the price of other area stores.

To all the Gents out there who have no clue on how to buy flowers you guys need to connect with Nancy in the flower shop! She was fantastic in advising and putting this bouquet together for me to give to my wife. It's very difficult to find customer service like this anymore so I appreciated her help. 1. Extremely poor customer service from 2 of the ladies that work the customer service desk in the morning. 2. Rotten potatoes, tomatoes and habaneros in the produce aisle. 3. I was given the death look from a guy that worked in the meat market for complaining to him about wanting to charge me to slice up some meat I was going to purchase there. 4. Unfriendly and unprofessional self checkout Lady in the morning. 5. Improper posting of pricing and signs for Wednesdays new week of sales.6. This Jewel in Yorkville, Illinois should be ashamed of them selfs.

Consistently out of produce that is on sale! Have to get a rain check for most Just for You deals. Been struggling with this for years. The store on Orchard Road in Oswego does not have this problem.Staff is always helpful, but their hands are tied when the stock is just not there. Quality of the produce is great, when they have it.

Hire more employees!! No matter what time I come there is always only one person working in the deli maybe 2 and there is a line of people so you have to wait 20 min for them to help you then 10 more min for them to cut your meat. It has been like this for so many years I am now seeking a new deli. They always close early due to staff shortage and I arrive to a closed deli! Make sure you call before time if coming after 5pm

This particular store is always out of stock on sale items. I have tried going different days and time but doesn’t matter. It’s false advertising. Don’t recommend this Jewel

Jewel-Osco has always been a good option for prepared foods. A staple of every community are the businesses and services that they provide. It states that they are open to midnight, that is not true. They should change that, it's deceptive and annoying to find out they they are closed even the signs on their doors say they close at 12. Their app is inconsistent and the staff can't or won't help you with their app. Sometimes their customer service is good and sometimes it leaves alot to be desired.

I went in tonight looking for a few things around 7:00 p.m.. the produce department is actually nasty. The meat department smelled like fish. I didn't really care for this grocery store. It leaves a lot to be desired. Very sad

A great place for your family to pick an amazing variety of really good apples, sweet , tart, soft, hard, sweet corn, fudge, Andes is the best, delicious hot dogs , corn maze, fall mums or visit the store and pick up some apple cider donuts, honey or picked apples, the staff is friendly and will guide you to the best apple experience, dont miss this fall fun delight

Overall this Jewel is pretty good. Definitely can be cleaner & should be cleaner but for the most part is good. The deli has good service & I think it's only been a handful of times where I have needed to wait a lengthy amount of time to be served. The self checkout lines are great but they do mess up often enough & the wait for an associate to come help can be a pain. Overall this is a good Jewel though & you should have a good experience while shopping there.

Jewel is always nostalgic for me - a blast from my childhood past! Back when the sign was written in cursive... This particular store is immaculate. It's set up quite sensibly and the variety of products is wonderful! I don't shop at Jewel Osco anymore because it's just too darn expensive, but there are some staples we can still only find (and trust) here so when we need those things, here we are!

I told one of the cashiers here that I hate this place. She very nicely responded, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Then I continued to tell her it was because they have such a large variety of groceries that I spend way too much time trying to decide what to buy!! Lol!🤣Since that last post(above), nothing much has changed. The shelves are always well stocked!(which can be a problem.....more items to buy when I came in the store to buy just one thing!!🛍)The staff are still friendly! 🙂

Everything was good until we got to register. Cashier and bagger didn't know what they where doing when it came to bragging our groceries. Bread was crushed and pre cut fruit ended up leaking everywhere.

This Jewel location is amazing. Quick service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had Rocco help me and he was the nicest and most helpful worker I have ever encountered at a store. Give Rocco a raise because he deserves it!

Horrid selection. Quality seems worse than neighboring towns. Yorkville needs a good grocery store like Fresh Thyme or Whole Foods. No Trader Joe’s garbage either. Jewel is horrible here because they’re our only option

Really gone downhill! My wife and I moved out to Yorkville 9 years ago and when we first started shopping here it was great. Especially since we weren't happy with the Jewel we used to shop at in Tinley Park. Just went to the Yorkville location yesterday and decided then and there that I will not be returning here. The Men's restroom was completely filthy with flies everywhere. Prices are outrageous. Did not have all the stuff I needed, even though they almost always did in the past. It seems everytime I have been in there lately the cashiers can't even give a simple greeting or barely even acknowledge that you're there. There are a few exceptions though in each department. I wish I knew the names of people I would to acknowledge for doing a good job and actually believing in customer service. They deserve the credit and should be commended. Sorry Jewel, it's not me. It's you.

The store is clean, well lit and smelled like the chicken they were frying. The aisles seemed close together and there were many products displayed at the ends of each row. The cashier was friendly and helpful.

Awful customer service honestly worst experience I've had yet with the longer haired guy at customer service literally didn't want to help me wouldn't refund a product even though it was bought at jewel 1 week ago and had proof of payment and my rewards tied to purchase. Awful experience and a waste of my life.

Newly updated and looking nice! I've tried the grocery pickup and it's so convenient. They have all my favorite brands. Great sales every week! The bakery made us a nice graduation cake in the middle of the pandemic when no personalized cakes were available anywhere!! So thank you for that bakery staff!!

Great service and many flowers at great price for Mothers day!! Quick check out as well. Love how when making special request with the florist I am able to bring in my own vase and they put together a beautiful display!
