I was there today and witnessed first a very rude manager yelling at elder people. She then turned her anger on me and asked what am I starring at. Other shoppers called 911. This manager should be dismissed immediately. I would like a phone call from any district person in charge of the Yorkville store. I live in Somonauk and listed in the phone book.

I was just at the Yorkville and the Store manager and Her crew were very professional. I spoke to Mickey the store manager about items I needed. She was so polite and professional.I know being a retail environment is stressful, but Mickey was above and beyond. The rest of the Dollar-tree stores should take her example on running a store. She made my day.

Employees are more concerned with talking back and forth with one another than helping at check out or cleaning up the store.Not a word was said to me, not even my total, at check out. I said thank you and nothing. The ladies were more engrossed in continuing their conversation than talking to any customer. The same was happening at the balloon counter and elsewhere in the store. I was going to inquire about more black foam poster board, since the ones on the floor are covered in spilled silver paint, but what's the point.

I was there Tuesday July 18th shopping with my sister and grandma. Everything was okay until we checked out. There were two lanes open - one lane was lit up and the other was not. My grandma then simply asked the cashier with the unlit lane if she was open. The cashier stated in a rude tone “yes I am but I will take the person next in line” my grandma said TO ME “we were in like but we can wait” the cashier then replies “that’s why I’m taking the next person so don’t be mad” in a demanding rude tone. As we were next in her line she continues to disrespect us in an unprofessional manner just as she did to the people in-front of us. She acted as if I was meant to respect her after she disrespected me and my family. This cashier is in her mid thirties- brown hair and wears glasses. I hope this never happens to any customers that go here. DO BETTER.

Generally this is a you get what you pay for it type of store most of the items are pretty cheap and crappy but at least you only pay $1 for it vs paying two or three dollars at Target or jewel Osco in there cheap selection so its definitely worth it for that aspect also if you're looking for cheap items for household use at least it usually gets the job done the first time I would not expect to or three uses out of it.However one thing that you should be aware of his they do not offer any type of refund which is unusual because there's no signs posted anywhere or none that I could see in the open that states this.However you do get to see it in one location at the bottom of your receipt after you are ready purchased the item, I guess they figured that it's only a dollar once its off their shelf and enjoy your hands its on you I must have broken they will return the item for only and exchange. So this is definitely buyer beware if you're buying multiple items make sure you only by what you need since you cannot return it item for any reason a message is defective but still intact.

The store is fine like most other dollar trees. But why does the website and the time on the door say they close at 9pm when they actually close at 8pm. When bought to the store attention they don't seem to care. Well I think they should care so potential customers are not traveling there unnecessarily. Or at please correct the time that's on the door if you close at eight on Sunday turn the nine in to eight on your sign!

Like a lot DT stores, this one is just as what you'd expect. This one is smaller than the DT stores I'm used to going to but it has just as many items. I went on a Friday morning so checking out was pretty fast. Cashier was friendly. Pretty good dollar store. RIP $1 price tag though (now 1.25)

One note is that this is a small Dollar Tree location but it does not mean lacking in quality and choice. I find their holiday stuff to be very well stocked and plenty of options too.

It's incredible how many items this store fits in; looks like a small store, however, has a huge selection. I like that the entire marketplace has some music playing which makes for an enjoyable experience. Great that they also have snacks and desserts.

I was there Saturday morning and witnessed a cashier verbally assualt 2 customers. The first customer was in a VERY long line and asked if the cashier would call another person up. After the cashier started screaming at that customer, many of us through out the store were talking about how this cashier has a history of being rude. When the second customer came up to the line she told the manager that the cashier had a history of being rude and then the cashier started verbally abusing her. The second customer moved to the new check out and left the store, the first was trying to get her items and check out. After she got checked outthe cashier chased her out of the store threatening her and then turned on the other customer who was standing in the parking lot. The cashier was SCREAMING and running around writing down plates and threatening. Another customer came up and tried to get her to enter the store but she yelled at him too. This place is nuts. The manager doesn't care.

Very simple and affordable, I don't get why people complain about 25 cents when they by over priced items all the time.. I purchase a disposable flat mop to spread floor sealer. I have a stick that I can use a toss out or put in the garage and pads the same It's not breaking my pockets for what it is versus picking it up at another store and only using it once or wanting to throw away afterwards...

The service on Friday April 15th was ridiculous to say the least. The young man working without a name tag spent his whole time telling me and the 3 people ahead of me how much he didn't want to be there. He was broadcasting the time left until closing and how he was missing his family arriving for the holiday. Loudly stated he only gets thru the day by listening to music in his earbud !! Dude do us all a favor and find a job you like

Dollar Tree has amazing prices, everything is $1.00 or less the problem is they are not a place to do large shopping trips because of the type of store it is, it is not a big box grocery store so if you find something buy more than one you'll wish you did. It's worth the effort.

Very bad experience! Was there today with my Senior mother as she needed to get mylar balloons & stood there, the mgr came out of his office & said to the 1 cashier that he better bag quicker! Poor cashier looked overwhelmed. I asked this RUDE MGR (Scott )if we can get some balloons he said to go to the back of the line as we turned around the 1 register was open & a huge line was formed! This mgr. did open that register that we were at originally & he could of rang up my mother. I'd NEVER go there again!

We never come this location again. We went there this morning and the lady who worked in there said this time from 9-10 for senior citizens only and we have to leave. But a minute when we back to the car I saw 2 another customer come in and I believe they are not old enough be senior but can can go though to the store. What happened to us because we are Asian people and we can not come to your shop ?

Wow what is going on at Dollar Tree in Yorkville Illinois that manager Delilah was so rude to customers And harassing them over the intercom she also made a black couple feel out of place there.. Being a long time customer there I will go take my business somewhere else after witnessing what I seen.. And trying to make a complaint with corporate is a nightmare I guess they let their managers do and say whatever they want

We were asked to leave the dollar tree store in Yorkville this morning because it’s 9:00 to 10:00am senior only. Soon we walk out there two people walking in, and their age not even half of senior age but the were allowed to stay in and shop. Why? Because we are Asian ....
