Price is reasonable, that’s why I figured I will try this groomer, place smells awful and the owner is very rude. They messed up my dog hair, They don’t listen to what you tell them you want . Or they will ask you how you want it done , and when they bring your dog is nothing you asked for. Not expensive place , if you don’t care how your dog looks, then this is the place to take him. Extremely unprofessional owner. I will never take my puppy there.

I have had very good experiences at Furry Friends. They are reliable and friendly. The dogs look great when I get them back and they like going there. My dog had a few minor skin lesions due to algeries and they took good care of her with special shampoo. The prices are fair. I highly recommend this business.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMLAS HERE.My friend took her cat here last week and this is the story:I would think twice about bringing your animals here. I brought my cat here and she (the owner) sliced her horribly. My cat needed to go immediately to the vet and had to get about 20 stitches. Besides this happening she (the owner) tried to say that I brought my cat in like this or that my cat did this to herself. My vet bill was ridiculous, and what is more disgusting is that she (the owner) takes no responsibility.IMG_1796.JPGIMG_1794.JPG

Really frustrating. The cut itself looks good but it's the exact opposite of what we wanted. We asked for a cleanup around the face, cleaned puppy paws, and to leave his coat alone because we wanted it long for winter. We ended up picking a dog with almost no coat at all. When we talked to the stylist, they said they thought it would look better that way and completely disregarded what we asked for. Really upsetting experience.

if you love your fur baby do not take them here. i received my pup back and she can’t even open one of her eyes anymore. we took her to the vet and she has literal damage to her eyeball, im assuming they scratched it with the razor/scissors. i have also heard from multiple sources that they mistreat the dogs here. poor babies. shame on you guys.

I haven't been there for a few year's. But I never had a problem. I had taken 3 of my dogs there. I had 2 big Black Labrador Retrievers and a smaller mix. My female Lab had bad skin allergies and required s special shampoo. They had it and the owners son told me to take mine home. They'd use theirs. Didn't charge me extra. Always referred to as the happy black lab that always wagged her tail. I always felt comfortable leaving her and the other ones there.

I made appointment for my Little baby boy . And instantly had a very bad experience. You walk into the place to some lady in the back screaming at a poor cat loudly and aggressively stop stop stop really loudly . I don’t want to make any assumptions but the cat did make a really loud noise after . Then the lady who was screaming at the cat I heard her tell the other lady what the hell is with the late appointment . I was like it’s only 230 and you guys said it was fine to come in that time . Then there a sign on the wall saying don’t call while grooming that was another red flag . And another bad thing is the crates they hold the dogs in are way to tiny . It was a really bad experience. I highly recommend not bringing your babies there and read read read the reviews

My dog has very thick and curly hair, plus he is rather hyper, but he absolutely loves this place! Not too exspensive and they put handmade bows on the pets when they are done! So cute! And my puppy loves the workers there

I took my cat here today for her first grooming appointment and she absolutely loved it. Everyone at this place is kind, gentle and knowledgeable on how to handle animals. I am happy with the service my cat received and will definitely be bringing her back for more. Thank you furry friends, Linda loves her new look!

First off, I just read a review that gave Furry Friends 1 star even though they've NEVER BEEN THERE, because FF offers $25 cuts for small dogs and other groomers in the area offer $40-45 cuts so something must be wrong. That is the most RIDICULOUS review I have EVER read. I went today for the first time after a recommendation from a friend. I had been taking my pup to Petco and I spent $100 each time. Veronica made my pup so handsome I can't even stand it! She was wonderful with him (maltipoo...definitely more poodle), and even called me to let me know when to leave because I had a far drive so I could get there right when he finished. I will absolutely be returning there in 5-6 weeks! I could not have been more impressed with the friendly staff and the quality in their work.

I have been taking my Bichon here for a couple years now, not on a monthly bases like I probably should but when I take her they always do a good job on her.. I never felt like they totally listened to what I wanted done but it was good enough for the price. Well today I dropped her off at 8 am like they ask (I don't know why because then they just leave her in a cage) and usually she is done between 11:30-12:30 but today I didn't get a call until 2:00pm, 6 hours later. when I went to pick her up the lady was like we had a little mix up is this your dog? I said that's her collar but that's not my dog. She then brought me my dog who was not even groomed yet and said I needed to wait another 20 minutes to groom her. I do not live around the corner so I had to wait in the parking lot. The lady was rude, no apologizes, nothing, pretty much shrugged her shoulders and was like deal with it. I finally got another call 30 minutes later saying your baby was done. I made her tell me specifically what dog she was referring too. When I went in still no apologies but took my money with no problem.. She wouldn't even look at me, just shoved my dog under the gate and moved on to another person. It sucks because I really did like the price of this place and the people but I guess we will be finding some where new to go.

We brought our 14yo and 12yo into the shop at 9am. We weren’t able to pick them up until almost 5pm. Reminder that our dogs are both seniors and they both came home and were not able to move! We weren’t told that they would be in a cage for 8 hours and that they didn’t do appointments so our dogs would be waiting for the other 15 dogs to be taken care of first. Yes it was very cheap but we would have paid a small fortune for our dogs to come home and be able to move! Now we have to take the 12yo to the vet because of how much pain he’s in!! The best advice I can give anyone thinking about going there is to NOT go there!!

I took my dog to this groomer and he came back looking exactly like I left him. I’m not sure they did anything beside let my dog get sick and forcing an extra trip to the vet ! The dog is up to date on all his shots and came home from the groomer very upset and sick. He is now on medicine. This cheap haircut wasn’t so cheap after a vet bill. This place is dirty, so no wonder my dog got sick. I will not be taking my dog here again. Very disappointing!

Took my dog here and the next day he got a respiratory infection (kennel cough) poor little guy struggled for a week not to mention I had to pay vet bills. Then I decided to give this place another chance this month and once again he gets a respiratory infection the next day. I don’t know what they do but I can’t deal with this place anymore. It’s most likely unkept and not clean. It’s a cheap price but not worth it if your dog struggles for his life from a haircut.

Let me start off saying that I have not come here. I am not sure if I will because they say that they offer $25 haircuts on smaller dogs. Which, would make you think that is a good deal. It sounds like one. But when I have talked to other places in the area, they average between $40 - $45. It makes me think that something must be wrong with them. With me thinking that, there is no trust to leave my dog there. Maybe I am wrong, and if I am, it is my loss.

Took my dog here for the first time a couple of weeks ago because my regular groomer was booked. Dropped her off in the morning before i went to work. This was my first time ever stepping foot inside this groomer.....and the place was filthy. I understand its a groomers, but there was hair everywhere and dust and the place looked like it hasnt been cleaned in months. I could barely see the back area where service is done, but I could see cages stacked on one another. I just got a bad vibe from looking around the place, but I was in a rush to get to work and i was already there so i REGRETTABLY still decided to get my dog groomed there. The lady working was short and to the point with me, not very friendly. I told the lady what I wanted done....said i just wanted her to get a bath, have her nails grinded down, and her ears cleaned. She asked if I wanted her hair cut, i said NO because I only shave her in the summer, and it is the middle of winter so I like her to keep her scruffy coat. Well my boyfriend picked her up since she was ready while I was still at work. MY DOG WAS SHAVED. And a few of her nails were bleeding! She also seems to have an ear infection in her right ear, that i discovered a couple of nights ago. DO NOT GO HERE. I made the mistake of not looking into this place before I made an appointment, as i see other reviews saying similar things. So upsetting. I have never had an experience like this with a groomer. I feel horrible for putting my fur baby in these peoples hands.

Terrible first time experience! After picking up my dog, we soon realized on the way home his eyes were all irritated! As soon as we got home, it became apparent he was even more uncomfortable and couldn’t open his eyes. Took him to the vet and now he’s on all these meds and eye drops to help with the irritation and inflammation. After calling the place, the lady said she did not get any soap or anything in his eyes, which is clearly not true!! We even paid to get his ears cleaned, which the lady said she did, and once again was not true as even the vet mentioned his ears were clearly not cleaned. So disappointed that my dog had to suffer from some apparent professional being so careless! Never again!!

I took my Pomeranian and they told me to arrive there around 8:30 -9:30 so I got there at 9:30. My dog was there for 7 hours so I called to see how much longer and I got a very rude response from the worker Victoria or Vicky whatever her name is and she hung up on me BC I said my dog was there all day and she responded with "if you had brought your dog on time like I told you to she would of been done earlier there is 23 dogs here that need grooming, your dog will be ready in 15min" and she hung up. Apparently this business doesn't care about their customer or providing professional service. Also when i got there the boy drops my dog right in front of me. Like come on my dog is very old she could of broken a bone. Never coming here again. I recommend canine cuties dog grooming down southwest highway next to the animal welfare. Much faster service and very good customer service.

I take my persian cat here and they always do a good job. My kitten has VERY FINE hair and mats really bad. This is the cheapest place you'll find around town. I usually have them bathe, blow dry, cut her nails, and shave her private areas. She's got a lion cut, and it was done well. She's always purring afterwards on the car ride home. Highly suggest for cats.

My dog Snickers hates to be groomed but when I bring him to Veronica at furry friends she really knows how to handle him! She is friendly, does a GREAT JOB & has an extremely fair price! To those people who say what can u get for $25. from a dog groomer give her tru au will be amazed at her talent!! I just absolutely love Veronica & Furry friends! I come all the way from Bolingbrook to get her services.!!🐶

My first time here .. I explained to the lady how i wanted my dogs hair cut. Told her specifically not to shave her tail due to the fact that she has a fox tail and takes lo g to grow back... Came to pick up the dog and her tail was completely shaved off. I was veey ulset and shocked. She came to the front and said in an upset tone "i totally forgot sorry" and rolled her eyes. I told her how can u forget i told u 3 times and she yelled at me slammed the counter door/gate and said then dont f***** pay for it and walked away. That was so unprofessional and i will never be going back there .

Took our matted cat for a haircut which he would not let us do! He was a bit stressed because of strange place but she did a great job and the cat wasn't stressed like last time we had him at petco. Definetly will be back.
