The old dollar general was better. From never having anyone behind the counter to having employees take the 2 closest spots to the door every day, it's pathetic. Thank god IGA is still around, they're where you should spend your money.

I did notice in the past that the store was cluttered and unkept and I had a difficult time finding what I needed. However, I stopped in more recently and have found it to be much more organized and clean. I believe some changes have been made and it shows. If you haven't been to the store in a while, stop in and see if you agree.

I know what you're thinking -- what kind of person is leaving a poor review for a chain known for its inexpensive pricing and convenient shopping.Well the sad fact is that this is one of only of the few shopping locations in Heyworth, and it has drastically gone downhill. I am unsure if there has been a change of management, but the store is constantly dirty, aisles are cluttered from stocking the shelves, and very disorganized as though it hadn't been organized in ages.The quality of the clerks has gone down as well. I don't expect to be greeted with a hearty hello to quantify a pleasant experience. But what is discouraging is the fact that anytime you need something, they act as though you are a bother to help.I know. I'm going to keep on going to Dollar General. I live in town and my options are limited. I don't feel like driving into Bloomington anytime I need dental floss or deodorant. But if you're driving by, and need convenience. Just keep on driving into Bloomington. This place isn't worth it.

It's Dollar General. Don't come here looking for high class service or merchandise. This store is pretty much the same as any other DG out there, cramped aisles, one clerk off stocking the shelves and decent prices on much of their stuff.

I had a very good exsperence at the Dollar General with the Manager in Heyworth Ilinois,her name is Leah,she is one of the best,but of all the Dollar General this one's the best and I've been to alot I've got the best of treatment here,they always have treated me good,I've went there since they opened.Today was above and beyond

It's a nice place but there is so much stuff that's out on the floor. Stuff that needs to be put up that it's hard to get your shopping cart though the ales. This store needs alot of work...

I drove into parking lot to get milk, but never got out of vehicle. I would have had to cut through the cloud of cigarette smoke from two employees who were standing immediately in front of door.

Agree with Trevor Johnson.....the store is always disgusting!!! I mean it looks like they are always in the middle of a huge delivery and no one to put it up. Boxes and and stuff in the way of shopping. ALWAYS out of jugs of water....I mean ALWAYS! I know it's just a small town DG but why does it have to be a hot mess all the time!?!

Love DG in my small town, but get aggravated when items are not priced then put in clearance bins with no sale price on them either and ring up with what seems to be original price. AND, the clearance signs all say priced as marked.

You can't get down any of the isles stuff everywhereemployees outside smoking cigarettes when they could probably possibly being there putting away stock but that's the way this stores been
