The CVS in Wood River has great customer service. My favorite person is John who is always going over and beyond the call of duty. Good help is so hard to find these days in our digital age. So, when you find someone who makes everyone feel special you have to give them a "high five" for excellent service. Keep up the good work!

I ordered dark chocolate cashews on line, 10 cans. I received 8 cans dark and 2 cans milk chocolate. I called to see if I could exchange them, Denise said yes as soon as they get more in. They never get more than 2 cans in a week. I have ordered this many before and not had a problem. Someone needs to pay closer attention. I order this many to get free shipping, now I have to drive up there to exchange them.

I have not been able to receive my prescribed medication to alleviate long term symptoms for over 1 week now due to pharmacy incompetence in ordering. Switching pharmacies as we speak. This CVS drops the ball when it comes to patient care.

I have been a customer of CVS in Woodriver Il for several years. I have watched the service decline. There are a couple of workers there that are great. The rest are horrible. That includes the pharmacist. You are not allowed to speak to the pharmacist and more than one person claims to be the pharmacist.

I was in the store around 9 am on 11/12/22, mind you if was about 32 degrees outside so I had a skull cap on. As I walked in the sales lady had this uncomfortable look on her face and didn't speak. I proceeded to get the things I needed and get checked out at the self check out. I noticed and customer comes in and that same sales lady greeted them loudly. I don't know why I wasn't greeted in the same manner. But the only difference I see is I'm an African American and the other person was not. We both have money thats known to be green or using a small card. Our money spends the same and should not be treated differently. I hada problem with her before but I ignored it, but not anymore. It's almost 2023 stop with the racial profiling.

recently moved to the area and due to my insurance, I have to use CVS. I never had any issues with them until moving here and utilizing this store. the one lady in the pharmacy, I think her name is dawn? (curly hair and glasses), is beyond RUDE. first time I got my scripts she said they wouldn't be ready for 2 days because she had to call the other CVS and pull my scripts and she hated doing that? I wish I could just disregard parts of my job that I hate, but I digress. then today I tried to fill my scripts for the second time. called them in at 9 am and said I needed them by 1 or 2, was told that's no problem. I get to the drive thru at 3:30 and the same witch is at the window and tells me it will be at least another hour and that was the soonest. when I questioned this due to having called 6.5 hours earlier, she literally threw the phone and said "just talk to the pharmacist then". absolutely awful customer service. the only saving grace at this store is the pharmacist. he is always kind and friendly, although idk how with employees like that around. as a healthcare worker myself, I advise our patients against using this location unless absolutely necessary.

Every time I pick up my medications here the pharmacy staff is pleasant and helpful. Had to deal with workman’s comp for a work-related surgery my fiancé had to have, and the pharmacist on staff was so helpful and nice and helped me feel less stressed with the situation!

I recently had my prescriptions sent over here from Walmart because it’s closer to my house. Now everyone is confused and don’t know what to do. The tall pharmacist is mean and rude in person and on the phone. I need my medicine. They told me they had everything taken care of but I can’t get a prescription filled. They all seem irritated to have to do anything. Clean house with that whole crew.

Andrea and Dawn are absolutely the worst pharmacists I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. They are rude, judgmental, and unnecessarily standoffish. My wife and I called to check on my wife's prescription, Dawn answered, and we were rudely informed that it would take 2 or 3 hours, and when we told them we had no vehicle and stayed in Granite City, they brutally said that it wasn't their problem. We decided to come in and wait for the prescription hoping to cut down our wait time.We waited behind a man in line and overheard the pharmacist, Andrea, tell him that his prescription would be 15 minutes, if he waited. Though when we got to the register, Andrea told us that it would be quite a while before my wife's prescription was ready, and refused to explain to us the difference as to why we had to wait, but the man didn't. We waited in the store for a inconceivable two hours before we were finally given the prescription.

I wouldn’t even give this place negative stars!!! Always short handed, extremely rude, tells you one thing but when you go to pick up your prescription they tell u another. It should never take 8 hours to fill anything period!! I’ve never felt so insulted while I’m being spoken to by the pharmacy staff! I can’t understand how any of these ladies still have a job! I’ve been in customer service for years and if I even thought of being as rude and disrespectful to my customers I would not have a job! I really think that cvs needs to take a look at the decline in customer satisfaction rates and take action.

I just started using this pharmacy because of an insurance change. I don't understand how or why it is taking 20 days to fill a prescription. First they said they needed more info from the doctor. I had to call the doctor's office and they were not aware of a problem. Then there was supposedly a wait for approval from the insurance company. This is not a rare or unusual medication. Are all CVS's like this?

The drive thru situation is atrocious, and has been since before the pandemic. They only use 1 of the 2 lanes. The drive thru takes forever because they allow people to pull up and wait for the prescription to be processed from start to finish, as opposed to dropping it off and coming back through the line once it's ready. It's not unusual to see the drive thru 3-6 cars deep.

I absolutely love this place. I see all the negative reviews and I don't understand them, maybe they have a new staff since I started going but I'm in there every week. 4 of the workers I deal with are extremely friendly and go above and beyond my expectations. I deal with the pharmacy once a month and it's always ready when I go to pick it up, I have never had a problem.

If I could give this pharmacy negative stars I would. They are the slowest most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They are constantly behind and disorganized. The staff is rude and will talk down to you. Better hope you do not need your medicine in an emergency because you'll definitely expire before they have it filled.

Meds are never ready when they say they are!! I called at 4 they told me give them an hour got here 7:45p.m tell me it's gonna be a minute or so... Then come back with sorry I didn't see it was a controlled substance (ADHD meds) its gonna be another half an hour!!! So done with them this is my last script I will get here!! Refills are being moved to medicine shop now!!! Hate this place happens every freaking time!!! DONE!!

The only time I ever go there is to pick up a picture. I only use the photo department when I have a coupon for a free picture or when they have a special in their in photo department. I have actually never been past the front counter in the store. so really I have no business reviewing this store since I've never really been inside the store except at the front counter. But I can say the people that are at the front counter are very friendly and will greet you every time you come in and that's about all I can say about this store.

Made online appt for booster. Got here 5 min early. Lady came on time to assist me. Told their system had been down didn't know anything. The lady didn't even have mask on nose. I left won' be back. Aren't friendly are they!

I've never been spoke to in such a demeaning way. They are all like this at this location. Its like im walking on eggshells speaking to the Pharmacist Judy. She is literally just a hateful human being...I pray for her bc anyone like that has more problems then any customer coming to get their prescription.

This locations pharmacy needs shut down. Every time we get a prescription sent to this pharmacy, they will call to notify it is ready to pick up, we get there to pick up and they will tell us its out of stock!So how do you send a notification that its ready to pick up?!?!? Not to mention these are basic medications like antibiotics!

Men's bathroom was a disgrace for a corporate chain store. Looked more like a private gas station bathroom you'd see in a bad neighborhood off of a major highway.

Read all the reviews I thought it was just me so rude and incompetent dawn has messed up so many times on both my husband and my prescription I could go on and on but I don't understand why the company has not fired or make them take a class on how to do there job enough is enough
