Before switching to Wood Dale, we had different medications all compounded with separate companies. It is great to be able to localize all of our compounding with Wood Dale. The small business feel is still alive at Wood Dale, we appreciate being able to call and speak directly to a pharmacist to answer any questions or to place an order. Their prompt shipping is also a delight so our patients and clients never have to worry about being out of their important medications. Pricing is great, and the few scripts we were getting cheaper with another company they price matched them. They care about the customer and make the world of compounding a breeze for our veterinary clinic.

I started shopping around because of some customer service issues with another compounding pharmacy. I have been amazed at the prices compared to our previous supplier! The customer service is the best! So why only 4 stars? They don't do eye medications or injectables. The staff has been super helpful as I navigate the ordering process and are willing to price match if needed. Most of my orders have arrived within 3 days. If/when they start compounding eye drops and injectables, they'll get that fifth star!

I had the best experience with Wood Dale Pharmacy. My vet uses them and sent a prescription to them on a Friday afternoon. They expedited it for me to be completed within the hour. They were so kind, accommodating, and went the extra mile to print out information on the prescription for my kitten. My kitten has been nonstop playing with the toy they included, too. Wood Dale pharmacy was a godsend when my cat Bud needed to start on medication for his thyroid. They overnighted it for me because I was really anxious to get him started on it. It comes in a easy to use applicator and they are always very prompt. They’ve been filling the script now for a couple of years and I have no complaints. Recently they even sent a free toy with the medication and all my cats love it. I recommend them highly.

I phoned Wood Dale pet pharmacy to see if they could take care of a compounding script four our cat Cathy . The gentleman I spoke to said yes . All that he needed to do is talk our vet so he could fulfill the order.The entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. An hour later I got tracking number and the meds should be delivered in three days. For our meds the cost $ 89.00 for a 90 day supply. Currently I am paying $65.00 for a 30 day supply. The customer service, the pricing and the ease of working with Wood Dale made the effort finding them worth it. Much better than the pet pharmacy in AZ.

They were flexible with pricing and we never had issues with the compounded medications. When shipping was so problematic last winter, they upgraded shipping to FedEx 2-day and replaced missing medications at no additional cost. My cat is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for his Lymphoma. During a major shipping delay from a mail based provider the veterinary oncologist uses, my cat would have missed the first at home, and very much vital dose of a compounded medication. Why a local provider wouldn’t use a local pet pharmacy and trust a mail-based provider located in New York, is beyond me. However, Wood Dale Pet Pharmacy made the compounded dose (even made it chicken flavored) and we had our medication within two hours. I am very grateful to them and their entire pharmacy team who worked with me and the oncologist to see that my pet gets the care he deserves. Thank you, again.

I've been a Wood Dale Pet Pharmacy customer for several months. Our puppy mill rescue chihuahua, Desi, developed congestive heart failure which required four medications. Our veterinarian prescribed two medications that needed to be specially compounded, and the Wood Dale pharmacists were able to fill the order. The staff verifies every medication with their customers before filling an order and makes sure each order is completed correctly. They also have several flavors to make the meds easier to take, which is a Godsend, especially when the meds are needed twice a day! I just had the rest of Desi's meds sent to Wood Dale to save monthly trips to the vet, and needed the new order shipped overnight. The young man helping me made sure I knew the cost of the meds and the overnight fee, and verified the meds we were ordering. Wood Dale Pet Pharmacy has proven that they know what they're doing, and they put the needs and concerns of their patients and their patients' families first. I recommend Wood Dale to anyone needing specially made medications and who want first class service and care.

After years of dealing with retail pharmacies and continually having problems getting medication for our pets, a friend suggested I contact Wood Dale Pet Pharmacy. What a difference!! The most important one is that they care about your pet, not your pet and hundreds of people. They take the time to get to know you and your pet, work with your vet and provide solutions to help ensure your pet will take the meds. They are always pleasant and don’t make you feel rushed, plus they will ship the meds if you need.I wish I would have known about Wood Dale Pet Pharmacy earlier as they gave our cat a good quality of life. It’s hard to lose a pet and when you do, you realize you also lose friends you’ve made along the way like the folks at Wood Dale Pet Pharmacy. I will never be able to thank them enough.
