I love the Dog Wash! I started bringing my puppy as soon as he had the necessary vaccinations, and we have been going every 5-6 weeks since! My pup always comes out smelling amazing, looking great, and in the best mood. They do such a great job with him!

My puppy Ruffles loves coming to visit here. The staff is incredibly friendly and takes great care in making sure my nervous pup gets lots of attention and love during the grooming process. Their puppy package is amazing, Ruffles is super excited to see the staff and everyone knows his name. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a dog groomer

It is quite expensive and there’s been a long wait to get an appointment since the pandemic, BUT they’re worth it.Not only are they always lovely to deal with, they just do a GOOD JOB. At almost every other groomer, I have dealt with in Chicago, my dog came home with or rapidly developed some sort of hotspot that he would keep going at until I took him to the vet.That has *never * happened at The Dog Wash. He always comes home happy and the affection that they feel for dogs is really clear.

The Best Grooming Experience so far in the past 4 yrs. And they made my weekends! My little maltese baby is taken really good care of at the Dog Wash They did the work fast and way too beyond expectations. If you have a furry prince / princess, the dog wash is the place you must try.

I worked there briefly as receptionist. Terrific staff and very professional. One thing bothered me.. their house shampoo was Dawn dishwashing liquid unless client had their own or working with specific groomer. DAWN is used on wildlife when industrial catastrophe happens. I hope by now she use dog pH balanced shampoo. Maybe Dawn works. I do know one friend who had her dog groomed there. She was treating treating her dog with vet prescribed meds for skin issue. Then I told her of Dawn... she started bringing own shampoo. Prob solved.Even dog shampoo can cause issues... just Dawn? Clients should always be informed.I have a doggy.. I care for her grooming. If I needed a groomer would I go to Dog Wash?Heck yes!

Something has changed at "The Dog Wash" in the last few months... I've been a long time customer and recently when I took my dog to the vet, they extracted a ton of cotton from my dog's ear (which was the cause of an ear infection). I understand that groomers put cotton in dogs ears for safety reasons... but for a business that's been around as long as the Dog Wash has, I'd expect more diligent attention.

My doggies always come home perfectly cleaned and they don’t seem to have a terrible time there which says a lot since they hate being groomed. I have been taking dogs there for many years and will always go there when I’m in Chicago.
