We've loved coming to Kriser's for our dog Roni's food and treats (the staff is super friendly and always has great recommendations), but we found even more reason to love this place today with a grooming appointment with Jessica. I had a few specific requests for Roni's cut and she executed them perfectly -- and Roni obviously had a great time as well. We'll definitely be coming back and I've already recommended Jessica to a few friends!

I rarely write reviews. I don’t have the time or enjoy the process. However, when you find a service so outstanding like what Jessie does… you just have to do it.We own a Lhasa Apso with super thick and dense hair. I believe he’s the hardest dog to groom. Jessie rocks it! She is perfect. Very skilled, highly professional accommodating and patient. I am forever grateful!

The rabies vaccine offered in store has less harmful chemicals called TF, thimerosal-free. I searched all over Chicago to find a vet with this specific vaccine and Kriser’s is the only place to get it. You’re saving my sweet dog by offering your veterinary services. Thank you!

I spent years searching for a cat groomer, for my ragdoll Kona. My dog groomer recommended Jesse. She’s a cat whisperer—or in my case, a Kona whisperer! Kona typically needs to be put under at the vet to be groomed and that is so traumatic and unhealthy. Jesse is the only groomer who has had success working with him. After appointments with her, Kona comes out clean, fresh, and beautiful. And the best part is he is calm and happy! I appreciate Jesse immensely! Finding someone who genuinely cares about your fur babies is priceless, and I am forever grateful for Jesse’s dedication and care.

My dog refused to enter the shop of our groomer of 8 months. He seemed frightened. I decided to find a new groomer. My friend recommended James at Kriser’s Wilmette. I think my dog has a new best friend. He was very happy when I picked him up.My dog and I have been very happy with grooming for close to two years. I will be bringing my new dog there soon.

I came here after my dogs dermatology appointment. We were greeted when we entered & the staff was very kind & gentle with him. It was a small, quiet environment perfect for a nervous dog like mine. They had the honest kitchen meal toppers that my dog loves which was an awesome treat for him. It’s nice to find places like this outside of the big retail stores. I will definitely be returning when I’m in town again!

The groomers at Krisers Wilmette are rockstars! I’ve been coming here for a few years now and my pups always come out looking like models. James and Jessie are amazing and always assure that my dogs are comfortable and happy.My pup, Bailey is a nervous, senior but James is so attentive and takes his time with her. She always comes out looking like a puppy and very relaxed. ✨🐶♥️

It was a friendly environment with helpful and knowledgable staff. The other location closer to me always seems to be out of items we like. This location had a great stock of everything. It’s always great to find what you’re looking for and feel like your business is appreciated. We will definitely be returning to this location!

Place was recommended by a fellow dog mom for a groom. I have an Australian shephard ..they do not do a good job with her groom...her backside was butchered...there was a mat behind her ear...they cleaned up her legs and everything was uneven ....her chest area was so uneven the scissor marks were all choppy...i spent $154.00. I called to get the 20.00 tip refunded and the more i looked at her the more pissed i got..i requested a complete refund. Christopher is not a good groomer. I will not ne returning.

I have been taking my mini Goldendoodle puppy to James for a few months now and he always does an amazing job! James is very knowledgeable, always provides us with some tips & tricks, and is very kind to our pup. His grooming work is exceptional and his kindness never goes unnoticed- definitely recommend!

All the groomers here are fantastic - our dogs are comfortable and happy, coming and going. Violet was their groomer most recently, and she did an amazing job. They have a nice selection of dog foods, bones, etc - and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

What a blessing to find this oasis of kindness and humanity! Having recently been turned away by Petsmart who was no longer *comfortable* grooming my senior bichon/poodle mix, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming response when I called Kriser’s. After Jessie and James completed my dog’s grooming, he was relaxed, looked fabulous and I was told he did well. Very special shout out to Renan for his patience and understanding when my house needed to be evacuated on a 90 degree day and he allowed my cat to board for the day. I will never go anywhere else. Gorgeous inventory of toys, food and gear for our furry friends.

Kriser's is our go to for some of our favorite pet products. We have always had a great experience and if there ever was an issue it was immediately resolved. Staff is wonderful. Especially James at Wilmette in grooming. We are very happy and will continue to use Kriser's as long as we have our furbabies.

Our 3 70lb rescues are regulars for grooming at Krisers in Wilmette. The people are wonderful and welcoming. James our groomer is very nice and our dogs calm down when they see him. He always greets them and does a great job.

Love this place! James is an absolutely amazing groomer. He is always kind, courteous, and does an excellent job! He handles my poochon amazingly with such care and attention to detail. I would absolutely recommended Kriser’s and more specifically, James to anyone who wanted to have the peace of mind to know your dog is with someone who truly cares and feels for the animals their in contact with everyday and most amazingly — a beautiful groom!

SPECIAL GROOMING CARE FOR DISABLED OLD DOGS! Our 16 year old Golden Doodle Molly can not stand up for more than a few minutes, so our former groomer would no longer take her. She also has a ton of wart-like growths that make grooming difficult. Kriser’s has a special grooming service for “senior dogs.” Groomer Ms. Jessica gave Molly a bath and a beautiful and careful trim, and she has to do it working with the dog lying on a table that is just two inches above the floor. Everyone at Kriser’s loves pets and Molly was SO happy afterwards. When I came to pick her up, the owner (manager?) was sitting on a chair petting Molly while she relaxed on the floor-level grooming table.

Jessie has been grooming our dogs for years. We followed her here from another grooming business in Chicago. Although it is a bit of a drive to get to Kriser's it is worth it for Jessie. She has extensive knowledge on how to properly groom double coated dogs like my Samoyed Chrissy.Grooming Chrissy is a long process. Jessie is professional, personable and exacting. My dog loves going to Jessie and she always looks great after her grooming session.

I was SO grateful that Kriser's could squeeze in my dog for an emergency grooming visit after she was very, VERY in need of a bath! I had never been a customer of theirs before, but they treated me like I had been for years! It was pretty expensive, but they were so sweet and I, again, was/am so thankful they took my dog in! I highly recommend!

Jesse is a gem. I moved to TN and come back once a month so she can work withDogs. I have never seen anyone like her and she is incredible groomer especially with scared doggies!!

The whole staff is very friendly and professional! Made an appointment a couple weeks ago, they followed up with a reminder the day before. They did a PHENOMENAL job grooming my husky. Cassie was the groomer and I couldn’t thank her enough! EXCELLENT SERVICE! Will continue to go back
