I highly recommend The Barker Shop! My pet Simba smells fresh and clean. Yvette did a fantastic job bathing, cleaning his ears and clipping his claws! She’s a cat whisperer:) I’m so glad to have found this place! Check it out if you are looking for a pet grooming place, if you live in the area. Definitely, we’ll be back!

I am very happy with Amanda who groomed Cooper, mini goldendoodle, today. My groomer cancelled on me this morning and The Barker Shop took Cooper at 10 am same day. I will be returning for future grooming.

I love the Barker Shop. The staff and stylists keep great records, so service is totallly extra. Stylist will call with questions so there’s never a too-short cut or undesirable shape. New ownership & location are perfectly fine.

We just moved in the area and was looking for a groomer for our Akitas. They don’t go often so I gave it a shot based on reviews. Making the appointment was easy and customer service since day 1 so nice and helpful. We did bath, de-shed, and skunk bath (our dogs got skunked) price was reasonable for large breed. I would definitely go back our dogs came out smelling good and their fur so soft! we asked they be kept together and got good feed back on our dogs since the boy is a big baby when it comes to grooming which I was concerned since it was a new location, but he did well! Overall, so happy with their services, staff is so friendly, and would highly recommend.

Christian did a phenomenal job with my dog. My dog is 11 & this is the best service we’ve ever had. Cannot recommend the mobile grooming enough. Will definitely be using them again in 4-6 weeks

We are Barker shop regulars for nail clips. We love the place. They always take great care of the doggies and do a great job on the nail trims. Parking and access are easy. I like that it’s off the busy road in a building that’s not crazy busy so it’s easy to get dogs in and out of car to shop.

We have a Shitzu with anxiety, so we setup a mobile grooming appointment. The groomer (Kara) was polite and professional. She handled our little boy with patience and tenderness. Highly recommend! Definitely setup future appointments.

One of the worst experiences dealing with the people here. If you have a cat, don’t bother. They barely have any technicians who cater to cats that have the patience OR take the precautions to make cats feel comfortable enough to get groomed.They take one aggressive shot into “grooming” your cat and then claim it was not possible due to their temperament and still charge you full price.Anyone that owns/has patience with a cat, knows that grooming them takes a lot of patience, a lot of precautions, a calm demeanor and most importantly time.Let’s just say that having my cat be there for 15 min and then receiving a call saying they couldn’t preform her grooming bc she was “difficult” tells me everything I need to know about this place. And then come to find she looked exactly the same as when I took her in, to only be charged full price.And to make matters worst, the people dealing with customer service issues via email are the rudest people i have dealt with. Refusing to admit they were in the wrong for said visit and then proceeded to imply my cat would die.Just a nasty place.

Terrible policies regarding what dogs they will groom and which ones they won't. I have the nicest dog in good health, and they claim "the safety of the animal is our priority". I have been taking my dog to another local groomer regularly and they have no problems at all. Shame on you, barker shop.

They have handled the grooming of each of my Service Dogs. I am currently on my 3rd partner. I would not take my Service Dogs anywhereOut groomer is Ellie. She is incredible. She has been the groomer for 2 of my 3 Service Dogs. She took the time (on her own time) to get to know and gain their trust. They resist being separated from me, but because they already knew and trusted her, they experienced no stress when she asked them to go with her. She made the entire experience so much less stressful. In fact, when they know where they are going, they are truly excited. They can't wait to get in the door and say hello to the staff.The entire staff is friendly and engaging. I would highly recommend all of the groomers there.. Since I have to wait for my Service Dog, I get to observe the interactions between the staff and the dogs they care for - whether it's the front staff bringing the dogs back or the groomer taking the time to consult with a concerned pet parent, they are all amazing!

ALWAYS a great experience! Our dogs love everyone at Barker Shop, especially Mary King, Jennifer, and their regular groomer, Mario. Our long-hair German Shepherd had been through numerous groomers in the past, and had always been very difficult for them to handle, especially when they tried to do his nails. I don't know Mario's secret, but now our boy is actually excited to go get groomed, and Mario always does a really beautiful job on him (and with the ridiculous amount of fur on that breed, that is no easy task!) Our other dog, a Staffordshire mix, possibly loves Barker Shop even more - from running to greet the familiar faces of the staff to leading me around the store to check out what new toys or treats are on the shelves, he acts like it's more of a play date than a groomer appointment. Spend a little time in the store and it will become immediately obvious to you how much everyone at Barker truly loves animals. If you want your dog to get a beautiful grooming AND you want the peace of mind of knowing he's in the capable hands of true dog-loving professionals, Barker Shop is the clear choice. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I brought my 2 dogs for grooming, 1st time. I really appreciated having someone who answers the phone to answer questions and make appts. Met the groomer before she took them back herself! They were done in no time and look awesome! Definitely 5 star!

I just discovered Thee Barker Shop!Great customer service! They take walk-ins for trimming cats, nails! 10 minutes and I was on my way home. And , most importantly, No Trauma to cat!!

It was a great experience I love this shop although they didn’t disclose if your pup gives them a hard time it’s a $15 dollar up charge with the cost plus a tip but otherwise Christine did a great Job I hope she will groom Harley again or someone in the shop .

Amazing staff and groomer! We came across this place as we were looking to groom our dog as we had a negative experience at another groomer. Since our dog has longer hair, another groomer said they had to shave our dog's hair down to her skin because they said she had too many knots and that we had to sign a waiver in case her skin got cut in the process. On another note, their grooming salon had a bad odor to it and the staff was unfriendly. We ended up leaving and not going through with their grooming plan.We found The Barker Shop and walked in, they were very sweet and was able to take our dog upon a walk in and saved her fur!! They took such great care of our dog and she smelled so fresh and was groomed perfectly! Their shop is very clean, organized, smells good, and has a group of friendly staff happy to see you when you walk in. We are now going to be returning customers!! I highly recommend this groomer!

Each and every time I walk into the Baker Shop I am blown away!! The staff have always been SO amazing and kind; while still maintaining a professional vibe! PAIGE - what can I say about Paige, our groomer - more like what can’t I say!! She has been our ANGEL for the last four years. From the first time we walked into the shop lost on how to take care of our very sick puppy and his perm!! She saw me cry more than smile the first year she knew us! Her heart is larger than life - just AMAZING!!! Paige’s cutting skills on my little Matlipoo makes me smile and sometimes even cry because of how great he looks! He goes in looking like a messy grumpy old man..and comes out a whole new happy and handsome pup!! Thank you PAIGE…thank you Barker Shop staff - you all are our every day HEROS!! We love you all!!

I had heard about this place from a coworker. I really loved the experience of them working with my dog! They worked with what I wanted for his cut and everyone was super nice! Will definitely be coming back.
