Nice course that has different types of challenges , from long straight fairways, to dog leg fairways. It has some short holes that are fun to hit from the tee box to green. The greens are in good shape. Its also nice because its set up as 3 different sets of 9 holes and you can play any combination. I have noticed when its busier they have a Marshall out to help direct you to your starting tee box, which helps if you play in a small group they try to send you out where you aren't behind larger groups.

We were delighted by our overnight experience. Our rooms at Seasons Lodge were spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed unwinding, after a day of travel, in the pool and hot tub. Our breakfast at Tino's on the Tee was particularly tasty and included copious amounts of coffee creamer at our special request. Perhaps the most noteworthy detail was the exceptional customer service we received by every single person we encountered during our stay. Friendly, courteous and accommodating. Highly recommend!!!

This is a great place to eat on the patio. I prefer eating outside because the inside needs some updates and cleaning. The food is awesome and the servings are large. The hamburgers cannot be beat, large and cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable as well. I wish the menu had more choices too.

Anthony and his staff never fail at making great food and a great time! This is my 5th year down there and plan on going back for the foreseeable future! Everyone there deserves their due and I really can't thank them enough for the work they put in to make our trip great.

I was a disabled ride along. The views were gorgeous! Easy access to bathrooms. My husband enjoyed the golfing tremendously! The golf carts are great! Super friendly people! Guest and employees alike! Had a superb time!

The course was nice even if a bit expensive. The big problem we had was the girls behind the bar decided to pocket their own tip out of a wad of cash we gave them to pay for beers and only gave it back when we asked how much the drinks cost. Then it felt like they were just overcharging for beer inside the clubhouse. Its a small thing and might just have been a miscommunication but it still felt like a let down to have something like that happen at a nice course like this. Oh and there were no ball washers or garbage cans at any of the holes. I'm not sure why but if its always like that they need to change that.

Nice layout difficult and easy holes great staff and most of all great food so many great things about the rend lake golf course its difficult to describe the staff work very hard to mske each and every hole special from the tee box to the pin. The pro shop is good and they have different items for beginners to seadoned. We had a great experience playing two days and staying in the area again great course

Stayed in one of the condos. Played golf for three days and had a blast. Dinners at the club house were very good but skip the breakfast buffet. Breakfast was so-so IF you caught the food fresh from the kitchen. Most items tasted as if they had been out in the steamer tables waaay to long.

I have been coming here each summer for the last 9 years with a large group of friends for 3 days of golfing. There are 3 9 hole courses--very different feel on each of them and always a great time. Condos right on the golf course are great for lodging!

This is one if the cleanest, nicest hotels we have stayed in. The staff is very helpful and friendly and our spa room was beautiful and the prices were fair. We stayed here for a fishing trip with Scott from, Crappie Masters. All in all the entire experience was awesome!

Drove 1.5 hours to play 27 holes. Overall was very satisfied and impressed by the course, will certainly be back. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were, for the most part, in fantastic conditions. About 3/4 roughs were also in amazing shape but the 1/4 was far from great. The bunkers were hit or miss, some were as you would expect from a higher end course and others not. At the end of the day there was one thing I could not get over, which is the piss poor mowing job by the teenage kid. He could not make straight lines to save his life, cut at an even height, and left mowhaks on basically every tee box.

4 day stay there in late April. Course was in tough shape due to rainy weather. Main problem with the place is the dining facility called Birdies. The food is absolutely awful so do yourself a big favor and either pack food or find other options nearby. I couldn't eat their food the last day so chose to drive 6 hours home on an empty stomach

Overpriced. Also experienced a first. Two people in the cart, and we were both charged a $19.00 cart fee. Doubt that we will ever go back.

I am a local and have played this course MANY times over the last 10 years. LOVE IT! Overall the course is in great shape. During summer and fall the fairways are an amazing Zoysia(?) that feels as if it tee's up the ball for every long range and approach shot. If you miss left or right, the punishment isn't severe either. The rough could be rougher and there are sections that are.The greens are hysterically large(4clubs front to back) and they are kinda soft and receptive too. I have had several approach shots that have left craters to be repaired. Usually fuzzy and a little slow too. Sometimes they are trimmed and faster, but that has not been the norm. You will be able to see foot prints as you walk the green.Exotic scenery? Not so much. On 3 of the final holes you will get lake views, but its only 10% of the course. Most of the course snakes back and forth with the next and previous holes as your scenery left and right. Plenty of wildlife out too.I have recommended this course to friends, family, co-workers, and about everybody I know with a set of clubs. Whenever out of towners come to visit, we catch at least one round here.Like I already said LOVE IT... 5 stars

Played it 2 days straight. Some nice parts to it, but the cost doesn't equal the value. Just off the fairways is a rough that hasn't seen a mower in months. Be prepared to spend a lot of time looking for balls, because the only thing getting cut here is the maintenance budget. Inconsistent and pock-marked greens were another indicator that maintenance was an afterthought. This course layout is a circular pattern of predominantly dog-leg right holes. Not sure who designed the course, but it lacks variety.

Course played Great! Fairways were awesome and we'll taken care of...wonder where some people who gave Rend Lake a bad rating were playing. Obviously this is a professional players course but have played all over USA and this course is fun🤗

Great golf course! Other than the mosquitoes being bad as it got later in the evening there nothing to complain about. Great staff, course was in excellent shape with greens and fairways being pristine condition.

Always been a beautiful golf course beautiful grass in the fairways Although I think they are cut a little too tight there's no air under the ball Love the huge greens Been my home course that was 12 years old Never get tired of playing there All staff members were courteous and helpful 27 holes of golf you don't want to miss out on

Through the week its good place to eat, both times I've been there through the week it has been excellent. Went there last Sunday and it wasn't what I expected from the previous times I was there. They went to a limited menu and the food wasn't as good.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.... Booked the Stay & Play Package for $99. No elevator, they had to re-swipe my card the next morning cuz apparently when they swiped it the night before that was just for practice.. lol lol Rooms are very dated, pillows were cheap and needed replaced, FORGOT OUR WAKE UP CALL cuz she said she got busy at the front desk. Stay in Marion.... The golf course had a rate of $51 for 18 w/cart. So take the $48 you and your buddy will spend to a better hotel with better customer service. The course itself was in great shape, the greens needed mowed severely but it was beautiful. I think if the place had better customer service they would be packed all year.
