Very simple cabin. But it was clean and very comfortable. Lots of towels, toiletries, firewood and kitchen supplies were provided. There are three cabins. The oldest one is the closest to the lake with the best views. We stayed in a newer cabin that had some obstructed views.

Great view, clean cabin, reasonably priced. Fire pit, outside chairs, picnic table. Fit 5 old fishermen very comfortably!

The place is beautiful neatly designed and every idea for it works perfect! They also provide almost everything you need for cooking, towels and bedding. The only reason for 4 stars would be the place is full of spider webs and of course spiders. Out side it's expected but the inside could be much better. With all that the place is good and would stay again if the web cleaning improved.

The cabin was great. Plenty of room for the four of us. All the entities were great. The only thing I would recommend is to find a way to provide wifi in the cabin, as phone service was very limited.

(This post was updated after its original post so please read fully)(Original post:) I wanted to love these cabins and give it more stars based on others reviews (which is why we went), and the concept, but we experienced two major problem during our 2 night stay that cost us $410. I felt I had to share my experience because I know I consider reviews when conducting business, and I would want someone to share their honest experience especially if it was like ours.We arrived on Friday, everything was fine. They have everything you need kitchen wise and a nice set up outdoors--chopped firewood, a fire pit, even lighter fluid. It was just two of us, so we stayed in the main room with the king bed. I only checked my side of the bed (the left mattress because the king bed is made up of two full-size (I think) beds pushed together) for bed bugs and didn't see anything so I was like cool, no issue. I didn't check the other side. My husband sat in the front room chair most of the night (never on the couch). I sat on the couch a few times Friday but not too much. Woke up Saturday and my husband was complaining about his back itching. When I checked his back, he had scratched it so much it just look like a few scratch marks swollen up (there were three spots). It started raining Saturday morning. After we took showers and used the bathroom, we noticed a rotten fish smell starting to come from the bathroom. My husband suggested its was probably from the rain, but it didn't smell like that outdoors. I cracked some windows to the let it air out, not a big deal, and we left. We came back in the evening time (probably 5-6 hours later), the smell was still there and worse. I picked up some incense on the way back just in case and I am so glad I did. Had I not spent the .94 at Walmart I don't know if I would have been able to stay the night. I honestly still don't know where the smell came from. Its either associated with the rain or the toilet/shower system--it was not there Sunday morning when we woke up. I laid on the couch that evening before going to bed, and my husband again just sat in the front chair. We went to bed, woke up Sunday morning and I noticed a few (5) bright red spots that itched on my left upper side (upper back, upper arm, lower side of face, on knuckle of finger, and back of neck). I then knew immediately what it was. I had rolled over to his side of the mattress a little that Saturday night. My husband said he didn't sleep good because he kept itching, and he felt it had gotten worse. We made sure to put everything in trash bags and I informed them of our two problems. I honestly don't know where exactly it came from, hence I was specific about the areas we had contact with. Because there were so few I want to say it may have come from the furniture, but based on the location of mine it would seem it may be the right mattress. The lady we called at check-out was super nice and said she would let her bosses know. I asked about some type of a refund, or consideration at least, because I do think the bed bug problem is just too much, especially for the money we paid. Honestly the smell was too much but I understand some smells just come with nature--but there is a separate, general rotten smell in the area but it was more over by the lodge area where we checked in.Outside of that, the concept again is nice but the things we experienced just didn't make it worth it.(updated 20 minutes after post)They did provide us with a full refund and again apologized for the troubles. It sounds like they are already on top of the problem and resolving it so I did increase my stars. I hope people take the time to fully review this post, appreciate the lack of bias, and understand at the end of the day they handle this situation promptly and in the right way. Things happen, and honestly I don't know how else they could have caught something like that until it affected someone and they told them.

This place is awesome. We booked all 3 and had the entire place for our family gathering. Clean, nicely decorated and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
