Ryan, the “emerging store manager“ is phenomenal. I went at about three in the afternoon, and they were pretty busy and but unfortunately understaffed at the time. Ryan was helping out everywhere, putting out fires, supporting his staff in the best and most friendly way possible. He was kind, sincere, professional, and clearly communicated what he was doing so people weren’t confused. I aspire to be as good of a servant leader as him one day.Blessings,Jay

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. They are closed twice during business hours for lunch, but when you call about your prescription they do not tell you this, nor is it posted online. The pharmacist Jose is rude and not helpful in the least. Our prescription was rejected and he refused to explain why or who we need to contact. Then the next day, it was magically filled and they didn’t contact us to let us know, I only found out when I called to have it sent to Jewel instead. Horrible experience.

This store nice and clean. Friendly Staff works there. I do enjoyed that it can be delivered when you shop online. You can buy alcohol and spirits there until 11pm. But, compared to the other convenient stores it is more expensive than to buy the same brand or product items at the different stores for your convenience.

Time to move on from the worst pharmacy I ever experienced. Employees that have no clue and a Managers that are no help either.They are playing with people lives.My wife already moved to CVSI’m moving tomorrow morning.

I have been to this location several times and never had an issue. Too many Karens out there with their sense of entitlement and unrealistic expectations. The pharmacist was wonderful and very informative, explained my new prescription so I was comfortable taking it. The prescription took as long as the tech said, no complaints.

I tested positive for strep throat today. The doctor sent the prescription to CVS and when it was ready for me to pick it up at 10:31 am, I was notified that my insurance doesn’t work at CVS. I was told to call Walgreens to call CVS and have the prescription transferred. Right now it’s 6:43 pm and I’m in my bed due to pain and the pharmacist still hasn’t sent the fax to Walgreens. Walgreens tells me that CVS isn’t picking up their calls even after 4 attempts.I wanted my antibiotic so that I can be non-contagious to my kids and my husband but I’ve been calling both CVS and Walgreens since 10:30 am this morning. I had to send my husband at 5:46 pm and he watched him finally fax it.I understand how busy pharmacy is but these people didn’t have compassion for my needs or empathy. The pharmacy tech, Victoria, was very rude and didn’t show any concern for the urgency for my medicine.

The pharamacy is incapable. They cant answer the phone and cant get a perscription ready in a timely fashion. I have had mutliple times of being on the phonr close to an hour before calling the store and having a manager intervene inorder to speak with someone. Will for sure be switching to the deerfield location so i can actually pick up my scripts.

The pharmacist assistant was very rude to me after I was curious why my prescription was delayed. My text cited insurance issues, but when I went in to help sort it out, the man got very loud at me and immediately freaked out at me by my asking why it was delayed. I felt embarrassed that he would jump to address me in that manner when I was just hoping to help, and he said their phones and systems were down and that he “didn’t care what I did” when I asked if transferring it to another store might make the process a little faster. Not helpful at all, definitely not a nice person to be helping out the general public. I will be going to a different Walgreens nearby and will avoid this one moving forward. This is also not the first time that myself or people I know have had a bad experience with this pharmacy. Sounds like they have a lot of system issues. Wish I could give 0 stars

Do you want your prescription on time? Do you want it correct? Do you want a hassle free experience with techs and a pharmacist that know how to read a prescription and get it to you in a timely manner? If you answered yes to any of these questions than don't go to this Walgreens pharmacy. This Walgreens employs the most incompetent people on the planet who are guaranteed to get absolutely everything wrong every time.

I don’t understand why they run pharmacy business here if they could not handle and don’t know how to run it. Their service is very inefficient and uncomfortable for the customers. Their attitudes were not nice and act like “I don’t care. It’s not my problem but yours”I think this place should be changed and renovated from the basic attitude of pharmacy technicians and even pharmacist.I absolutely do not recommend to come to this place specially for any prescriptions rather to go for even competitors. I believe Walgreens business should have known the problem of this place by the reviews all the consumers have given but still runs within same practice with no change for a while, just ignores it.Consumers! We are the people using this place and have a right to refuse them and look for others. No need royalty for this business. You can still use it if you still like it and enjoy interfacing a stressful moment.Oh I don’t have any specific personal mind for those workers who can work better bc I think they are also a victims of the business but want to mention their names here Sol and Daisy, so they can start changing hopefully.Oh one more thing. Don’t bother calling them for any reasons you will be hung off after holding for a while. Sorry!!

Pharmacy Manager Alex went above and beyond assisting me with finding a Walgreens that would have a prescription I need. I went to two other Walgreens and they did not have the prescription and did not have the time to help me locate a Walgreens Pharmacy that would have what I need and fill the prescription tonight!! Worst pharmacy in the world. How is it possible that it takes you 1-2 weeks to fill a prescription? That's unacceptable. I'm now without my medication for over a week and a half. Get your act together! I've had it with your negligence. My daughter will be without her medication now too and I put that in a week ago.

I was on hold for 30 min with the pharmacy. The app said “Action Needed - Call pharmacy” which I did and this is how they are? Ridiculous. I had to hang up, call again and ask for store manager this time. She answered after 1 ring and after telling her how frustrating this was, she transferred me to them, which THEN they finally answered. It’s pretty ridiculous that I have to call the store manager to get connected to the pharmacy. Avoid this location if you can….

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!Walgreens photo department, has the worst customer service EVER !! With one of the associate named Jamie female short hair cut, today September 26th 2022 ,, it’s very disappointing !! She's Unqualified salesperson Very Rude,unfriendly, and Inconsiderate !! We requested to have a passport photo but the result was blurry, grainy, not pixelated and her measurement are not accurate. We requested her politely but she create more confusions just wasting my time and effort. Embassy rejected the Walgreens photo ID !! She's incompetence !! She don’t know what she's doing !! She don’t have a decency to resolve the problem ,, BAD Customer service. Soooooo disappointing complete disaster !! unacceptable with this Walgreens at 10 N Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090.

I purchased a vanilla gift card at the Walgreens on 10 N. Milwaukee. It was in the amount of 413.00. When I got home the 3 set of numbers were intentionally scratched off and have been going back and forth with Vanilla to resolve the issue.I spoke to the store Manager, Erwin and went in today to show him. He was ignorant and said "we already discussed this". That was over the phone but today I went in to show him and he was VERY RUDE !! I went to the Wheeling Police Dept and they said it was a civil matter. I have been out 413. Since March 26th and Vanilla said I have to wait 7-10 days, I have a case number with Vanilla and here it is March 3rd and I have not had any kind of resolution. MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE WHO BUYS GIFT CARDS AT WALGREENS IS TO OPEN UP THE ENVELOPE AFTER PURCHASING THEM AND MAKE SURE THE NUMBERS ARE NOT INTENTIONALLY SCRATCHED OFF.I will NEVER GO BACK TO THAT WALGREENS BECAUSE OF THE MANAGERS IGNORANCE & UNCARING, & RUDENESS. I SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE TO DO THE SAME.FIND ANOTHER STORE !

Be prepared to sit for 30 minutes before the pharmacy acknowledges your existence. I have been going here for 2-3 years due to the fact it is walking distance from my house, enough is enough. Honestly it would probably be faster to drive to the Deerfield Walgreens which is 15 min each way than it is dealing with this one.Update: Over the last 2 months I have confirmed driving 15 min each way is faster than waiting at the window for this Walgreens. Don't waste your time, they have better things to do here than service customers at this pharmacy.

Just got my covid booster here, and ladies running the pharmacy are rock stars. It’s an extremely busy store, and they are working non-stop to get everything done, and being patient with every customer that comes in. But what I was the most impressed with is the lady giving the shot, (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) in-spite of being so busy, was truly a pro. Barely felt the shot. Of all the shots I’ve had this was one of the best. I’d only ask that the store help out these awesome workers with getting them more assistance.

Unfortunate to have such a bad experience at this Walgreens. I had a prescription sent by my doctor and I got a call from Walgreens saying it was ready but when I went they said it would take 1 more hour to be ready so I went home and returned 5 hours later only to find out they never started the order and had to wait ANOTHER hour. Then after it was ready they wanted to charge me more than $270 for 1 of the medications! I asked to give me the generic and they didn't have it, so had to cancel the whole order and get back to my doctor to use a other pharmacy

My husband and I went here for the flu shot but the Pharmacy fridge had broken and all viable vaccination doses were lost. We weren't able to receive the flu vaccine and left. Waste of time and unfortunate they don't have a working fridge or backup for medications/vaccines.*Edit: After 3 weeks of my Rx order not being filled, I called because I needed to get my Rx refilled. They hung up on me. Another Walgreens will refill my Rx, must just be this location that's subpar.

This is the least desirable Walgreens I have ever been to. No appointment necessary for Covid vaccine , yet it was up to pharmacist and he was unable to take me without appointment? I really dislike whole store attitude. Not helpful or friendly. I would rather go out of my way and visit Buffalo Grove Walgreens, staff are much friendlier and helpful.

I made appointment for covid rapid test 2 days ago, and I received confirmation number at same day morning. When I got drive thru, a pharmacist checked all my information and then said," you should make another appointment in different location because we dont have test kits." Excuse me?? It was only 12pm and they can call me or email me for the cancelation prior to my appointment! What a waste of my time and gas!!I was super mad but he didn't have any empathy or do apology. Never come back again! Ugh!

Could be better. Been using this place for 2 years now. There is a lot of waiting around even when it's not busy. Prescriptions can take some time to come through and it's almost impossible to get someone on the phone. One time through the automated phone system I accidentally requested doctor for refills on a bunch of my prescriptions. I called and asked them to not call the doctor or fill those. They said they would not call but did it anyways and my doctor was not happy with me. They don't ask if I want to speak to the pharmacist when I start a new medicine and I forget until I get home, and I don't want to go through the hassle of calling them so I just read through websites online to find my answers.

Pharmacy department has a lot to get fix. I’m only giving them a 2 star because I like the picture department and the front people are nice. It’s not the first time the pharmacy hasn’t had my prescription when they said but this time I’m going to have to come back a third time because it wasn’t ready yet.

Horrible customer care in pharmacy dept. Came in to pick up my covid tests, was told to wait about 10-15 mins, and that they would call my name over the intercom. Waited 50 minutes, no one ever called but the 4 people who came after me to do the same got their tests within 10 mins. I stood back in line, asked them what’s taking so long and they went back and grabbed them. They’d been sitting there ready to go, no one called me up or let me know so I wasted an hour sitting for no reason. Was not offered an apology or any advice on how to make the process better. They all saw me sitting there, watched other people they spoke to after me come back and grab their tests and didn’t think to check to see why I was sitting for so long. A simple apology to let me know it was busy and an honest mistake would’ve been perfect, but nothing and acted annoyed that I was inquiring about my wait time. Won’t be visiting this location again.

This pharmacy will make you wanna day drink. OMG frustrating. As of Nov/Dec 2022 . Pharmacy phones automatically hang up on you once it's your turn, the walgreens app giving incorrect RX notifications.Worst pharmacy customer service EVER !!!!!!Can't talk to a person, so have to run to store multiple times just to see if RX's are filled, ready , etc....Moving all scripts to another location.

Place is a mess, terribly managed, the wait for second COVID 19 vaccine shot is about 1 hour. It is funny that you hold the vaccine card saying that you have been fully vaccinated while you are waiting for the second shot for 1 hour. People complaining millions of not fully vaccinated, if you have to wait for 1 hour, yeah, here is why.The people arrived before and after me all got their vaccine shot before I do, eventually I told them I was waiting for 45 mins and they cannot find my filling forms and deliberately ask me to pronounce my name 3 times.There is no Asian or Black pharmacists in this pharmacy when I was visiting, and how reassuring it is if you know this pharmacy is only couple of miles away from Walgreen headquarters, yeah, good job with the diversity culture, Walgreen.Also, if you need to make a complain, tou have to wait in line for the pharmacist, how convenient.AVOID this place.
