I've used Horchers for a resident event with my residential community in the past and they were quick, reasonably priced and kind. I just got a wonderful bouquet for mother's day at a great rate! I can't recommend Horchers enough.

I recently visited Horcher's Florist & Greenhouse after noticing their sign, and what I found was an unexpected gem of a greenhouse. The owner was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand our experience level with plants and made personalized recommendations. He also provided clear instructions on how to care for our new plants. Beyond the extensive selection of plants, the greenhouse offers a variety of pots and gemstones that added to the enchanting ambiance. The entire experience felt like stepping into a scene from a Harry Potter movie. What impressed me the most was the owner's generosity; not only did he help us re-pot the plants we bought, but he also gave us a plant to propagate at home for free. I can confidently say I won't be purchasing plants online or from large retailers as long as Horcher's Farm Greenhouse is in business. A truly wonderful experience!

We met with Pat about our vision for greenery at our Star Wars themed wedding and couldn’t be happier with the results! We were on the fence about having greenery for our event because we weren’t able to afford the larger venues we met with first. We showed Pat inspiration pictures and he took his time to walk us through the many different types of plants we could use to create a similar look and pricing for each species.Pat was kind, patient, and completely understood our vision. He even helped set up a row of chairs to determine the length of aisle we would need to cover with garland. His pricing was unbeatable and the quality of florals was breathtaking.We last minute decided to add bouquets for our bridesmaids and he had the perfect idea for creating a unique, on theme, and affordable bouquet for them. The flower he chose matched the colors in their dresses PERFECTLY!Pat, we cannot thank you enough for everything. We love the little gift of eucalyptus that you gave us and we are getting my bouquet pressed and saved so we can have it forever. The event was breathtaking and your florals really enhanced the entire space. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

A nice variety of indoor and outdoor plants, plus lovely bouquets! The shop keeper is very knowledgeable about care for each plant I bought and shared lots of great tips and facts. The resident cats, Shadow and Darkness, were adorable!

As a teacher planning to celebrate Earth Day by giving away plants to students, I discovered that donation applications at larger stores like Walmart and Menards could take months. I decided to reach out to local businesses instead. Horcher's was incredibly responsive. When I asked the owner for a possible discount on plants, he generously offered them at no cost. This experience has truly highlighted why supporting local small businesses is so important. I'm extremely grateful for Horcher's generosity. Highly recommend!

I called to have a floral arrangement delivered for a celebration I was unable to attend in another city. Pat took time to learn about the color palette , the approximate size and the amount I wanted to spend. I ordered from Horchers based on the reviews I read which are superlative and true. The honored guest sent me a picture of the delivered arrangement and it was even nicer than I had imagined. Supporting this business is what I will do whenever I can!

I called this florist and spoke with Pat. He was incredibly helpful and willing to work with me. He was able to create a beautiful wedding bouquet, flower crown and boutonnière in under 24 hours notice. Everything came out beautifully and for a very reasonable price. I was so happy to get a quality product at the last minute, didn’t think it was possible. Highly recommend!

I received this wonderful arrangement from my friend in Colorado. She called Horcher’s and talked to Pat. He listened to her concerns and requests and created a magnificent, viewable from all sides, arrangement JUST FOR ME! Pat;s artistry, along with his ability to LISTEN to a client made the experience for my friend delightful, but NOT as delightful as the flowers sitting on my coffee table.

The ladies running the farm stand work extremely hard and always greet with a smile. Picking up locally grown produce, you can see and taste the difference , it is not covered in wax, or soft like it has been there for a week and the sweet corn is some of the best around

Love the fresh tomatoes, and cucumbers. We wait every summer for you guys to open up. We go every week to 10 days. Can't forget the lovely ladies and BOOTS we have to pet BOOTS when we go there.

Pat thank you so much for the countless special occasions you've saved for me through your beautiful floral work. If you are tired of fighting mobs at stores for flowers, you need to come here and see pat pronto. This place is NOT your cheap run of the mill flower shop. Pat keeps high quality flowers in his inventory plus his green house is breath taking. Not only does he keep flowers on stand-by for walk-ins, he also makes custom order bouquets and caters for special events. If you want to get flowers that will always take away the breath of loved ones, look no further, come visit Pat and his adorable cat.

Pat who manages the floral section is Awesome. He made the best arrangement I've ever seen in my life for a way better price than I would have thought and he's such an entertaining and good person to work with and just interact with. I'm overseas and ordered a plant over the phone to be delivered to family in Wheeling and am incredibly impressed by the friendliness and excellent service. Last week I was passing Horchers and saw a sign for corn. I needed some corn so I turned around. I bought some corn, a bunch of the most beautiful radishes and some green tomatoes. I hope to return next week, hopefully they will still have some of those gorgeous radishes!

Shop local! The Christmas trees are beautiful, the wreaths are hand made and can be made up to 6ft in diameter, their firewood is reasonably priced, and the greenhouse is open year round. The flower shop is still open in person and by phone for flower delivery orders to brighten the days of loved ones. It's great to be able to support a local business and a Wheeling historical staple.

I've ordered flowers from Horchers many times, and they are always beautiful and the delivery person always goes above and beyond to make the recipient feel extra special. While delivering flowers to my mom, she had just had a large package delivered that was still on the porch, and the delivery person offered to carry it inside for her (this was pre-COVID). How nice!
