Great selection of hardware items. Looking for a hard to find faucet adapter. They had it. Friendly help, knowledgeable, and service oriented. Further from home than other hardware establishments, but as Arnold says, "I'll be back".

I see many positive reviews for this store, those people must have never had a screen repaired here. Dropped it off October 4th, two weeks later I called to ask the status as I had not heard anything. Was told then, not before, the screen guy comes in when he wants to and they don’t have an timeline estimate for repairs. I was told a general repair timeline was two to four weeks and I would get a phone call when it was done, so I optimistically decided maybe they just needed a little more time.I called again beginning of November, was told it was next in line to be done. I’m retrospect I should have just asked for the screen back then.Today’s November 25th and I’m calling a third time. My screen is now ready, again no phone calls since the last time I initiated contact. I got “we may have missed calling”. So unless you have almost two months to waste contacting the store to ask when you might see your screen again, do not bring screens here to be repaired.

I purchased a staple gun, staples and it took me 3 visits to this store to finally get the staple gun to work. The first time I purchased the wrong staples so I went back to buy the right ones. I went back a third time to get help because I was thinking I purchased the wrong staples again. The gentleman that is primarily station in the paint department is amazing. I’d been there 3 times trying to get the correct staples for this staple gun and he’d be the guy helping me. The diagram on the package wasn’t very detailed on how to insert the staples, so it was complicated. Him and I tried were thinking the staple gun was defective and that it had to be the staple gun because we had the correct staples. He was very diligent about solving this problem so he asked the assistant manager and manager to come and assist. The manager tried her way and it turned out to be the way it worked. They all demonstrated great customer service and I had to share.

This Ace remind's me of my childhood! It pays proper homage to the classic hardware stores of the past, without missing any of the current hardware needs. I was there for paint. The paint pro made excellent suggestions, so I'll be back for my next project!

Very friendly, helpful staff. They have a wide selection of items. We rented the Green Machine to clean our carpets and it was incredible and priced right. Also, they actually fill propane tanks here, not an exchange. Also, if you like grilling, there is a huge selection of grills, accessories, woods for smoking, sauces and spices. They also mail good coupons, but I always forget them.

Friendly service, and knowledgeable staff. REQUEST TO MANAGEMENT: Please do ensure your staff wears proper face masks, though. The clear plastic shields that your cashier and one of the service counter employees wore made me uncomfortable. A disposable or cloth mask protects you and your customers. An additional face shield is fine, but not a substitute.

This is textbook customer service.You're greeted when you come in the door and asked why you are there so they can direct you to the isle you need. This is immediate. You don't have to walk around looking for someone.Then, as you are shopping, there are enough employees working diligently and ready to help you find anything else you might need.You are going to pay extra for this "small town hardware store" experience than of you go to Lowes or Home Depot. To me it is worth the slight cost increase and I hope it's worth it to you as well.

Been a customer for about 6 years, Ace rewards member. Went in with several after-purchase problems mainly related to believing that I had not been charged for items that I purchased and not receiving credit for an Ace rewards coupon. All problems resolved except the coupon credit. VERY quickly told no coupon, no credit (original clerk had of course taken the coupon!!) then told, "probably out of date" (don't agree and not told that it was by original clerk). I commented briefly (and politely) about her response with still no credit. Offered me another coupon which she wouldn't allow using for the current purchase. I refused it and left. This is unsat and will keep me from going back. (Besides, found out I get Veterans 10% off at Lowes and Home Depot!) Should have added to the original post - the lead person's attitude was the main turn off.

The staff today treated my mom awfully. My family has been going here for as long as I can remember and longer, and they refused to help my mother get in contact with a cab service when she was having car trouble. It’s the middle of winter. The staff should be embarrassed about how they handled themselves today. Leave it at home.

This used to be my favorite location. The customer service has gone downhill over the years. They will tell you over the phone they have something in stock, but then when you go, it is (surprise, surprise) out of stock. A lot of the sales associates are uninformed about the products they are selling, as well. I'm just lucky I already know where most everything is in the store, otherwise I'd be lost for days with the lack of directions from the associates.

I had a terrible experience at this store. When I came in I told the guy at the register what I needed help with. He told me what aisle to go in, and that he'd send someone back to help me. I waited and waited, and looked back to the front of the store - everybody was standing around and having a good time while I waited for someone who never came. I finally saw someone who worked there, who was doing something else, and she ended up helping me (she was great - got me exactly what I needed.) When I checked out, the same guy at the register asked me if I qualified for the senior discount. I'm in my 40's.
