I used their self-service dog wash, which was $14. You can bring your own shampoo but they have a few different shampoos there that you can use for free. They have two wash bays, provide complimentary towels, and have 2 blow dryers too. It was very convenient and I’d definitely go back.

Great store, wonderful employees! A young man carried my huge cat litter container to my car for me and I wish I had gotten his name. Betty did my checkout and was super sweet and helpful as well. Fantastic neighborhood business!

Awful experience. I took my two dogs to groomer at Pet Supplies Plus in Westmont for bath and nail clipping. When I picked them up an hour later, one was severely limping. I brought it to groomer’s attention and was told he might have banged that leg. Within an hour of picking him up at pet supplies plus, I was at animal hospital. He had an avulsion fracture of his hind leg and required immediate surgery. My dog was seriously injured here!To add insult to injury, they have not paid for the damages they caused!!!!!!!In response to Pet Supplies Plus response four months after my above review:TOO LITTLE AND WAY TOO LATE! Poor guy just had his second surgery on his hind leg. You guys suck!

Nicely stocked shelves, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and management! I find deals galore, which helps to build my points which reduce my final payment nicely! And the coupons come to my home on a regular basis. Each time I shop, it's not about how much I spent. It's more about how much I saved! Owning 3 dogs, this store is a gem!

Line was too long and cashier's were too slow. Didn't even say thanks to me. I consistently have better experiences at PetSmart and Petco, which are also cheaper. I would be willing to pay more if the cashier's are polite but this lady dngaf.

First and last time I will take my pup here for a nail trim. The groomer dragged my dog by her leash. Ummmm, she is lucky I didn’t jump over the counter and punch her in the face. My dog was scared to even go in the waiting area, so I should have just walked out then (dogs can sense evil) I will be taking her to Villa park from now on. Much cleaner store as well, with a big grooming area, not a closet.

Very disgusting Female employee had her Breast laying on the counter. As I walked up to put my items on the counter and she bluntly said I cannot stand up due to my large breast size I need to lay them on the counter to work I asked for a manager she refused to get one. I had my youngest daughter with me I am glad she didn't understand finally not able to get a manager I called back when I got out to my car it didn't not seem like she or the manager cared

I took my three dogs here, 2 grooming and one for nail trim. The haircut was very sloppy and choppy; their skin is red with a few cuts, and one of my dogs seem like he was injured. When I touch his shoulder, he would cry like he’s in pain. Never gonna go here again. Don’t bring your dogs here guys.

Our little man Enzo's birthday is today and we wanted to make sure it was extra special for him. We took him to the groomers at Pet Supplies Plus in Westmont yesterday and he had such a wonderful time! He was due for a trim around his edges, and now he looks so absolutely stunning.Thank you!!!

We are unfamiliar with pet stores as we don't have any pets. My husband suggested we get the kids the hamster we've been promising them so we opted for this pet supplies plus in westmont. We were browsing the critters section like fish out of water, and Ethan came to our rescue. He helped us find everything we'd need for the little hamster the girls picked out.

The small animals were not handled with care, especially the guinea pigs. I watched two younger store employees grab a guinea pig very aggressively and hold him on his back. Anyone with the slightest amount of knowledge knows they have weak backs, and this is painful and scary to them. They also pushed the plastic dome around with the guinea pig inside. He also had old looking vegetables in his bowl. I'm very sad for these poor animals.

Avoid their grooming. Everything else is great. After using them for a while, we had a terrible time trying to get our dogs in to the groomers a few years back (as in, no one would ever pick up the phone), so we decided to try other options. Fast forward to more recently, they re-opened their grooming salon and we decided to give it another shot. They're right around the corner and for convenience's sake, it started to look appealing again.I made an appointment, only to show up to a "closed" salon that didn't open for another 2 hours and was told to contact the groomer directly... but I have no contact information for the groomer?

Good selection at this Pet Supplies Plus location. They offer self serve washing and grooming. The one thing that's a bummer is that they are discontinuing bulk bird food, which is probably the main reason I shop at PSP and not an online store. It's still great to buy things in person and patronize a local store.

Great pet store! I went there years ago with my dog! Tonight with my granddaughters, I have held snakes before, but not this type. Very helpful and friendly staff! Also, first, time in my 63 years holding a chinchilla! We will definitely go back!

My granddaughters were there 2 weeks ago and were able to hold an adorable Chinchilla that has been waiting for a home for two years! It was so sweet! I feel sorry for this, baby, that it has been waiting for so long. We were there this evening too. I just posted about one if the kittens waiting to be adopted and forgot to mention the other one. Also, a sweetheart seemed more shy, but once the cage was opened, accepted scratches, and then laid with belly up wanting more, I believe this one was 7 or 8 months. Very sweet too.
