One of the worst Walgreens I’ve been into 709 Green Bay Rd.. I have congestive heart failure dropped off my prescription. The girl behind the counter says my prescriptions not ready. I’ll go back home. Second time. I get another text on my phone prescription is ready. Go back home. It’s not ready. I get a text number three. I go in prescription. Hasn’t come yet I’ll go in today, May 2 they couldn’t sell me the pills because the prescription was written and a different Walgreens, I called customer service if it’s not a control medication they should’ve filled it. By the way, first price you gave me for my medication was over $500 I told her price is wrong second time Price 196. It was wrong again. Third time 196 – that’s when she told me they could not fill my prescription after the week going back-and-forth with this Walgreen Terrible experience. I never got my medication. I did file a form of complaint. I guess Walgreens on Green Bay Rd. and grand Avenue never again. I feel this Walgreens take customers.

Worse customer service ever. Visiting from out of town and oh my Gosh, I know is hard to work on Christmas Day but a little welcoming and not going to hurt. Our service attendant was so unpleasant, had a mean demeanor and the worse attitude ever, got upset when I told him that he was over charging me. I better drive a little far but get better customer service. Out of my list for good.

Whoever works in FedEx is so useless they typically can't even answer if the FedEx driver has already picked up for the day. How unaware and awful at your job do you have to be to not know if the packages have been picked up. Wouldn't trust this place with the cheapest package let alone something valuable.

Pharmacy is awful. My pills usually are not ready, and I have been shorted pills. I had medication sent from another Walgreens and they was told it wasn't there. The rest of the store has some great employees.

Tired of Walgreens. This store has no care for pharmacy customers. Over and over again the pharmacy has no idea what is going on with prescriptions or they out-right lie about availability. Extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory. Walgreens sucks!

The pharmacist at closing time is the most patient and kind man. I watched him fill every single person’s prescription in line while staying an hour past closing time. His co-worker left him all alone at 9pm after throwing a fit. The front end manager, also patient and so kind, happily came to the back to help ring up the rest of the drive-thru line and inside customers. These two guys came together and got the job done! They took what could have been a nightmare and turned it into a seamless operation! Thanks again!(visited 6/20/22 8:48pm)

Check medication expiration they sold me some meds that were expired for 4 months. What kind of drug store is this ? The employees are rude . Would not be coming here ever again.

Stopped by to get a flu shot just to now. To be fair, it’s 10 pm and apparently they have minimal staff at this time, but I was just told I would have to wait 1-2 hours to get a flu shot. No line. I understand that pharmacists are busy, but my nursing background also says it’s ridiculous to make someone who comes to your facility wait several hours for a service that takes 2-5 minutes to administer.

This particular Walgreen's staff saved my life. Literally. I am taking medication every day. I am extremely sensitive to inactive ingredients in my medicine. There's not many people that have an issue of this kind. I do. My prescription was manufactured by company name Teva. It was working great until Teva stopped making it. I got substitute for it. That's how my nightmare began. Making long story short, I am extremely greatful for the pharmacist and entire staff of this Walgreens location -Kelly, Ryan, Charles just to name few. They went out of their way to get my prescription made by Teva. They were always kind and patient. I guess what I'm trying to say is, when you're in the long line waiting impatiently for your turn just know that there's reason for it. I've seen them struggling, being extremely busy and short staff. No one on their team is mean. I am saying this because I read some reviews on here. They are simply overloaded. Their computers suck as well as the automated phone refill system. That's a fact. It's not the fault of the people working there!It's easy to complain and assume. Next time, please just try to understand. You are not the only one in need of medication.

This is the closest Walgreens to my home so I go there often and usually go through the drive through when I have my kids with me. In recent months, I have never waited LESS than 15 minutes to be helped at the pharmacy. Once it took almost 30 min. Often there are only 1-2 cars ahead of me, and it still takes that long. I’m not sure if they are understaffed or just slow, but it would probably take less time for me to drive to a different pharmacy that is farther away.

🤠🤗👍👍👍👍✔️If you need the all night pharmacy, then this Walgreens is priceless. They don't always have the medications in stock, it's good to ask them up front before you drop off your prescription if they have it or how long it will take. If it seems like it's going to be a long delay, head to Zion, the Walgreens on Sheridan road or the CVS on Wadsworth. Because of the cancer center in Zion, they usually have a much more expansive array of medications in stock.⭐⭐⭐⭐

I never find this Walgreens busy like the one on Belvidere. This one is a nice alternative if you prefer less people. I will say that there have been a few times where the panhandlers from Green Bay rd sometimes make their way to the parking lot and will ask you for change as you step out of your car.

Went inside to pick up a prescription. The staff was very nice and tried hard to be efficient. Only took about a 10 minute wait and they had just received my script. But the cash registers were messed up. This caused some issues for customers.

Pharmacy is ridiculous! I was on hold for 7 mins, the next day I called I was on hold for 10 mins they answered and hung up on me, I called again waited another 6 mins!!!! 😡 I asked about the prescriptions they said they weren't ready it was 6:30 they said another 30 mins. I was there at 7:30. I ordered a prescription more than 24 hrs before they told me it'll be ready at 4pm. I got to the pharmacy at 7:30 they took 20 mins just to ENTER the insurance information. Then waited another 15 mins cause the prescriptions wasn't ready! Waited another 10 mins just cuz the pharmacy cashier didn't know what she was doing and kept asking someone else.NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING, IM JUST HOPING THEY DIDNT GIVE ME A WRONG PRESCRIPTION!!!JUST REDICULOUS!!! SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME!GO TO CVS, they have medication on time and they don't waste your time. Best part is they don't give you attitude and they don't rush you!!!

Went to this Walgreens on July 23 of 2018 trying to print a passport size picture. I had the picture with me and earlier that day I had printed a photo at another Walgreens with the same dimensions. I needed two other copies and went to this Walgreens to print another two photos. I asked the employees over there to help. An employee by the name of rose refused to print it for me saying they don't print passport sized pictures other than those for US passport. Eventhough the other Walgreens showed me all the various countries that they print passport photos for. I tried to explain to her that they could do it and I even proved it to her and she began yelling and insisting she will only print for US passport only. This type of ignorance and racism shouldn't be allowed in any store. I hope one day Racist Rose will recognize that America is made up of people from many backgrounds.

Don’t use Covid as an excuse to not allow customers to use your restroom. If Walgreens doesn’t want to service their customers by allowing public restrooms please be courteous and place a sign at the front of the store “no public restroom even for our customers” DO NOT put because of Covid! There is no guidelines or mandate by the state or CDC stating people can’t use the restroom in a public place! And PLEASE take out the HUGE sign that is at the back of the store that states in big blue letters RESTROOMS directing your customers to where your restrooms are and turn around and say “you can’t use them because of Covid.” Ridiculous!

I went to pick up my prescription and one of the staff kept complaining that more customers kept coming and was yelling saying she wanted to leave already. Then I went home opened my prescriptions from the bag and keep in mind I had 2 prescriptions and they were in the wrong bag...

It's the closest pharmacy to me, yet the pharmacists are almost always extremely negligent with answering your calls. You will definitely be on hold for a while more than half the time

Dont ever drop your FEDEX packages here.. it takes 2 business days before fedex will pick them up. I had to call fedex customer service before they did a pick up or else it wouldve been in this walgreens for much longer!!

Went to go buy NyQuil, they wouldn’t sell it to me because my boyfriend (we’re almost 30y/o) who was next to me didn’t have his ID with him... keep in mind I AM the one buying it with MY card & my ID. Luke, you are not my father.

PSA: The pharmacy is not 24 Hours only the store is. Pharmacy is 8:00am - 10:00pm everyday. Pharmacy is also closed on all federal holidays. Thank You

Ryan who works in pharmacy is absolutely disgusting and rude and yells at people. I hate this store bc he is always rude and gives a huge attitude problem ALWAYS!!! He should be fired with this attitude problem
