Yesterday i was walking to the store from across the street and the new security guy was yelling at me. Bad bad service they need to hire professionals not racist people the other guy was very professional dark skin dark hair with beard. The other one with no bear very unprofessional 👎

Wasted my whole break walking over at 8am for the store to be closed. I live across the street in it literally take 15 min on the commute do to there being one way n and one way out the parking lot.

I love going to this store the employees are always helpful and friendly and they are always doing something new or different raffles, cookouts, sales, it makes it enjoyable to shop. It’s the only Family Dollar I go in now

nothing bad out of my experience this time. ive definitely been to way worse. staff friendlier than im used to at these stores so thats a plus. floors were clean without boxes all over the place like other locations ive been to. a real staple for the neighborhood, its like an extra large discount convenience store now really.

8 of 10 times that I try to go to this store it is closed. It’s down the street from my job which is perfect but the fact that is hardly ever open is so frustrating smh..

The one positive is that you can't deny that this company does well with having a nice variety of products available at superb lower pricesthan a lot of stores but on the flip side of things the Family Dollar company keeps all of their stores severely understaffed and this location on Washington Street is by far the worst so much that when shopping here you are guaranteed to have to wait in a line with 7 to 10 or more customers ahead of you during peak hours.This is because they operate their stores typically with only 2 employees. That means 1 cashier and 1 employee to stock the shelves including that 1 employee operating everything else. When these things happened I would leave my shopping cart in line and just walk out the store out of frustration because of the lack of care for customer service. I stopped shopping at this one because of the monotony of the continuation of that experience. I eventually stopped shopping there because my experience with the Grand Avenue location is much better.

I don't go in that store often but the cashier had an attitude problem I asked him where was his bread he just pointed and said in the food aisle I didn't know where then I look for about 10 minutes for the item I asked him about and I came back to tell him there wasn't any and he was helping another customer at the register but the attitude was not good you like he was upset didn't want to be there so he said wait a minute then he went to the back and said oh we're out he did say sorry but it was just the attitude maybe you all need to have a meeting with your managers there was a young lady sitting in the chair looking like she had that attitude she was sitting by the computer when I came through the door, I feel they need some more training.

Guys this place is horrible to shop at. Take my advice Youll be waiting for hours in the line if you dont. There short staff and frankly students from the nearest schools are reckless and noisy. Its been like this for months. Those cashiers are super slow nowadays im happy they actually open a dollar store in waukegan rigth next to where marcos pizza was.😁😁😁😁😁

The Family Dollar is a great store to shop with nice weekly and monthly sales in the Family Dollar staff are really friendly and helpful they keep the store extremely clean and when you are ready to check out the it's fast and easy with have to wait in a long line.

Best Family Dollar around/ in my opinion. Friendly staff that crack funny jokes and try to make people smile and wont hesitate to give someone assistance if needed.

Went there parking lot full of car and store is empty nowhere to park. I guess parent using parking lot for student pick up. Not fair for shoppers.
